-Support Your statement of purpose implies that you want an OR position to access a more significant number of SCPs for testing purposes. Based on your document history, you aren't taking advantage of what you currently have access to, so why would you need even more options? The given reasons for acceptance are nominal at best. Activity and rule-following are base-line expectations for the O5 Staff program, not unique strengths you can bring to it. As showcased in your application, your writing style is very off-putting and choppy. Capitalizing Every Word In A Sentence and other grammatical errors, such as placing commas where periods should be, makes it difficult for people to take your logs seriously. Remember, the goal of O5R is to support those who produce the highest quality work in their field. Short test logs riddled with grammatical mistakes do not set a good example for aspiring researchers.

Huge +Support - When I train utility trainees, I start by asking if they want to be trained for medical or maintenance. The majority of the time they tell me they didn't even know they could train for medical. - New players that spawn in the maintenance training room are generally just moved into a maintenance training as they don't question their options - There is no real downside to this - We have room in medical bunks for a training room (i.e. sectioned spawn or taking over the office that no one uses)

What are you suggesting? Implementing certain models and scripts from the Advanced Medic Mod (beakers, jars, syringes, and chemicals) to create a working amnestic system. How would this change better the server? The addon would positively impact the RP experience of those who create the amnestics as well as those who they are administered to. The ability to create working amnestics opens up new avenues for medical research RP by incentivizing the use of the research lab (which is currently never utilized) and creating a tangible in-game activity (a reason for more people to play on the MS branch). Players who have been given amnestics will have physical evidence of what has been done to them, further enhancing their RP experience. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. Increasing server lag (however this addon is smaller than most custom class models at 8MB) Spawn menu abuse (only specific medical related classes that have been trained will be able to use this) Owner/Manager labor (The addon will not be usable upon download, chemical names will need to be changed to fit those used in amnestics and purchasable entities will need to be made so they can be bought with the current currency system) Who would this change mostly benefit? Medical Services / Testing RP Additional Comments The intent (if possible) is to only add necessary mixing / chemical / injection entities from the addon, additional entities such as ambulance skins, blood bags, radiography machines are to be omitted unless there is a demand found for them. Authorized personnel would ideally be able to purchase chemicals / beakers / syringes, use them to create the amnestic of choice and when injected into another player, an alert would appear informing them of what they have been injected with and its effects (so that they may appropriately RP the situation). -Support Admittedly I have never played on the server while A1 was still a thing, but from what I have read it seems entirely unnecessary. While I see how much the concept means to you and I don't necessarily disagree with all facets of it, for the purpose of this post I will play devil's advocate. Nearly all of the listed advantages seem anecdotal at best. More activity in MTF - There is no guarantee that adding another branch to MTF will increase activity. In fact, it could decrease activity by seperating a select high-ranking few into their own clique. More RP will increase utility/research activity - Again there is no direct correlation between adding another task force and increasing playercount / activity. Deals with minges - O5 Logistics and RRH are already able to punish people who mention the O5 council. Those who do so are not going to be stopped by the threat of dying temporarily in-game, if anything it will encourage them to do it more as they will now be able to elicit a guaranteed reaction. Increases GenSec / CI activity - The amount of players that will join security as a direct result of the addition of A1 will be extremeley small. You will not be converting players who don't already play in combat roles into combat mains with the addition of another branch. Better branch relations between LCZ / MTF - How? Adding another escort service for high-ranking foundation personnel will not bring LCZ branches closer to MTF, nor would it even matter. There is no issue with how these branches interact currently. More RP in general - Just adding more sub-divisions does not benefit someone's RP experience. If you feel as if the RP experience of new players is lacking, try directly interacting with them from within their own branches. None of them will benefit from just the knowledge that there is another branch of higher- ranking people than them out there. tl;dr RRH fills this niche role, you should just apply for it if you want this experience.

Wolfgang Neumann, M.D. STEAM_0:0:61890347 O5 Logistics - Medical Research How many Warns do you have? 0 Why do you want to join the O5 staff team: At the moment, the medical branch seems to be the most underpopulated and underappreciated discipline on the server. The vast majority of new players have not and never will experience this exciting class due to lackluster promotion and the absence of representatives. The few who are trained into the medical faction almost exclusively opt into aiding field work as they have no incentive to submit themselves to the lowly and inactive state medical research is currently in. I am tired of spending entire days in the medbay with not so much as one checkup / amnestic request / surgery to show for it. I am requesting a position among the O5 Logistics team so that I may have the authority required to increase activity in the branch through activities such as mass medical testing, branch promotion (through trainer incentives) and high-level test log creation. In addition, I would like to serve as an advocate for the branches issues (bringing up inactivity problems and possible RP-enhancing addons to the O5 Council) as well as have the ability to appropriately reward and praise members who go above and beyond to improve the RP experience of those around them. Why should we accept you: While I have only been apart of this community for a little over two months at the time of writing this, there is no doubt in my mind that I possess the management, technical and people skills to positively impact the medical branches server relations. My flexible university schedule allows for nearly constant activity and ample free time to work on projects that benefit the branch as a whole. If appointed, it is my aim to create a wealth of resources for the medical research branch (guides, videos, surgical procedure templates, high-quality test log templates) in the hopes of giving the branch the level of representation it deserves.
