  1. What is your in game rank and name. Crewman Joseph Bidon What is your STEAM ID? STEAM_0:0:192398154 How long have you been in Naval I Re-enlisted in the Imperial Navy on July 21st, 2023, and I used to be in Naval back in 2021. Why do you wish to become a Junior Officer My intention when it comes to becoming a JO is to more easily and confidently lead and train enlisted men into high quality members of the Imperial Navy. To further this explain goal, I am dead set on returning naval to what it used to be, the top quality, best functioning machine of a battalion on the entire server. Of course I acknowledge that it will take time to do this, and I need to have the proper authority to do so, therefore this application also serves as a way to speed up that process in once again raising naval quality and commitment. What are the duties of a Junior Officer? Junior officer's, otherwise known as NCOs, serve the purpose of being an in between on the command chain. They serve as teachers and leaders to enlisted men when the time calls for it. They are to carry out and relay the SO's orders to the rest of the crew in order to keep discipline and effectiveness at a maximum. How will you assist the battalion as a Junior Officer? I have over 1900+ hours of StarwarsRP under my belt (disappointing I know), and have both been led and have led many times over my career. My experience overall as well as specifically in Gaminglight's Naval in the past means that I can provide many services, whether it be simple NCO leading to keeping notes for meetings. Now that I'm back from retirement, I will be available almost every day for at least a few hours, and will make myself available to both new recruits with questions and higher ups that need something done. I also, unlike some others in the past, understand that this game is supposed to be fun, and will strive to keep Naval's serious and semi-serious side alive as best as I can. At the end of the day, people join Gaminglight to enjoy themselves, not to be yelled at 24/7 by some douche over a mic. I hope that my NCO abilities will inspire and bring new members back to the battalion, and help maintain a healthy and positive community for the server overall.
  2. Name: Hanz Sourkraut Rank: Experienced Researcher Idea: This series of test on SCP-049-2 instances will be focused on whether or not SCP-049-2 can still feel one key element to retaining humanity, fear. This will be achieved through the use of SCP-513, otherwise known as "The Cowbell". This SCP was picked based off of its relative obscurity and the fear/anxiety SCP-513-1 induces in its victims. The following test will have slight alterations in order of SCP exposure and time between SCP-049-2 creation. Background Research: SCP-049 Is a Euclid class humanoid, typically dressed in a plague doctor uniform dating back to the 1600's, SCP-049 is sentient and has the ability to turn victims into a zombie like instance known as SCP-049-2, these instances listen to and follow the commands of SCP-049, but can become autonomous after to much time away from SCP-049. SCP-513 is a rusted cowbell with no engravings or markings. SCP-513 is non-animate and has no anomalous traits until it is rung. all humans who hear the bell will begin to see glimpses of a tall, black, humanoid entity stalking and watching them. This entity is known as SCP-513-1 and is so far impossible to remove, even with the strongest amnestics that the foundation has to offer. Hypothesis: It is under my personal belief that SCP-049-2 instances are completely devoid of their ability to ever return to normal and most likely have no capability of fear left in them, evidence of their history of attempting to slowly walk towards MTF units without any attempts at surviving these encounters. Despite this, something in my heart tells me that exposure to other anomalies, such as SCP-513-1, may lead us to new discoveries and information. OBSERVATIONS WILL BE SPLIT INTO 3 INDIVIDUAL TEST LOGS TO MAKE VIEWING AND COMPREHENDING THIS DOCUMENT EASIER, TEST WILL BE LABELED 049-2 TEST 1-4 049-2 Test 1: Class-D, known as D-3614, was escorted by 2 Gensec CPL+ and 1 MTF PVT to SCP-049's containment cell, SCP-049 was compliant and D-3614 was guided into the containment cell under guise of undergoing interview. After D-3614 entered SCP-049's containment cell, SCP-049 was asked to display his latest cure to onlooking foundation personnel, which it happily obliged to. After the operation, which took no longer than 3 minutes, D-3614 had been turned into an instance of SCP-049-2 and retrieved with no struggle. SCP-049-2 was promptly guided back to LCZ and into SCP-513's containment cell and placed inside. A 12-foot long pole was used to force SCP-049-2 to ring SCP-513 and within a few minutes was noted to begin twitching, flinching, and backing into the corner of the containment cell, after a few more minutes, SCP-049-2 dropped dead on the floor of the containment cell, its body was soon removed and incinerated. 049-2 Test 2: Class-D was escorted by 2 Gensec CPL+ and 1 MTF LCPL to SCP-049's containment cell, unfortunately the Class-D was previously a doctor himself and ended up in a lengthy discussion with SCP-049, further detail of this "interview" will be available in a possible future document courtesy of Dr Oak T Ree depending on if the interview gave significant enough new information on SCP-049. 049-2 Test 3: This test took place right after Test 2, and the previous MTF escort helped escort a new Class-D, known as D-4278, to SCP-513's containment cell where D-4278 asked to ring the bell. D-4278 complied, after which D-4278 began cursing and showing terror at the presence of SCP-513-1. D-4278 was quickly escorted to SCP-049's containment cell, where the interview was still taking place under the watch of Dr Oak T Ree and the 2 previous Gensec personnel. D-4278 was quickly "cured" and taken to the temporary Euclid containment cell for observation. SCP-049-2 instance was no longer reacting to SCP-513-1, SCP-049-2 dropped dead shortly after escort to the temporary Euclid containment cell. 049-2 Test 4: This test was graciously done by Dr Oak T Ree, who has been a massive help in my test on SCP-049-2 instances. A video recording was gifted to me by the Dr and I could not possibly be more happy for his assistance in these trials (It takes a long time to do this many test!). The recording will be visible below. Conclusion: It appears that SCP-049-2 instances have higher brain function than previously thought, although we cannot be certain if it is due to a severance between the instance and SCP-049 itself. Either way, these test have proven without a doubt that some sort of humanity remains in these unfortunate souls. Was your hypothesis correct?: No, it was not, it has been scientifically proven that SCP-049-2 are still capable of human emotion to some capacity. Although any new information learned through science is typically something to celebrate, I'm not so certain that this certain test is something to be celebrated. It is my new personal belief that SCP-049-2 instances are an unfortunate victim to a mad doctor in a horrible case of malpractice, and I recommend a more ethical solution to disposing of future instances if possible. Addendum 049-2-1: Due to previous test all resulting in death, with and without influence of SCP-513, a followup test will be conducted on SCP-049-2 instances concerning this new discovery and if it correlates to distance from, time of "cure", or repeated injections of SCP-049's "curing" substance it has been observed using before creating an SCP-049-2 instance. It is my belief that far to much time testing on SCP-049 is spent strictly on SCP-049, and not SCP-049-2 instances. Within the following weeks i intend to make detailed and complex tests and experiments strictly relating to SCP-049-2, more specifically any possible remaining humanity, emotions, and ability to exist without SCP-049 presence or recent presence. Expect several of my next test logs and documentation to be about very specific ideas relating to SCP-049-2 instances.

  4. Name: Researcher Dmitri Sourkraut Rank: Researcher Idea: This is a simple test to see if SCP-049 is affected by SCP-1025's effects, if not, then a interview will be done with SCP-049 in an attempt to identify what the "pestilence" it always talks about is, and if it is a actual disease or some sort of SCP-049's philosophy based around a persons morals when it comes to science and medicine. Background Research: SCP-049 takes the form of a medieval plague doctor that wishes to destroy an unknown disease it has names the "pestilence", if it is even a disease at all. SCP-049 has had interviews done with it before, on behalf of the late Dr. Raymond Hamm, and it has never actually told of symptoms related to the "pestilence", which this test will hopefully give to us. Hypothesis: I honestly have no damn clue what will happen here, this is just to see if we can gain any knowledge at all on the "pestilence", but if I had to guess I would say that due to the fact that SCP-049 is a humanoid and can read English that whatever disease it does read it has a high chance to contract. Observations: A D-Class personnel was used identify a non-lethal, easily cured disease that SCP-049 could read without the worries of being terminated from SCP-1025's effects. After a first D-Class had contracted the well known Stone Man Disease/Syndrome, a second D-Class was able to identify a page with the common cold, and used a bookmark in order to know which page to turn to when given to SCP-049. After the initial identification of a clear SCP-1025 page, MTF escorted me and a Senior Researcher Brigand to SCP-049's Containment Cell. Upon arrival, we simply opened the door and handed the book to SCP-049 with two MTF guns raised up to him so that no breach would happen (We did not need a D-Class for this due to the fact that SCP-049 does not identify researchers as having the pestilence, therefore making it safe to do transactions such as this without D-Class). After reading the marked page in SCP-1025, SCP-049 started coughing and said it had a sore throat, to which common medicine was given to SCP-049. SCP-049 handed the book back through its containment cell door and the test was concluded with SCP-1025 being returned to its containment. Conclusion: Well crap, I guess we have to try and get information the old fashioned way by interviews and a bit of speculation, maybe even bribery by giving SCP-049 more test subjects if need be. At least we learned that SCP-049 is affected by SCP-1025's effects, and we should be careful of what we expose SCP-049 to in the future, if this was simply done by giving SCP-049 SCP-1025 then telling it to just read pages we would have to be updating its class from Euclid to Neutralized. Thanks to our precautions, we were able to avoid such a fate, however I will say that it is disappointing to see that SCP-1025 can not be utilized in any ongoing research into the supposed "pestilence" SCP-049 keeps talking about, nor what its cure is suppose to do, I will continue testing on SCP-049 until I can get a definitive answer on the subject. Was your hypothesis correct?: Yes, though admittedly I wish it wasn't, but indeed it seems that SCP-049 is affected by reading SCP-1025. Extra Note: (Interviews with SCP-049 will be made following this test log, and I will be making and reading out the questions to SCP-049 personally, I don't want anyone else attempting the same thing I am planning in the next day or so.)
  5. Name: Researcher Dmitri Sourkraut Rank: Researcher Idea: SCP-1025 has had attempts to catalog it before, however I personally believe these attempts to be futile. Since new forms and strands of disease are constantly being made and others fall out of existence, along with new SCP diseases constantly being discovered, I have come to believe that this effects the book and cause the pages to change along with repeats of diseases in the book, representing different strands. In this test I will be using 3 D-Class personnel and having them read the first pages, the middle of the book, and the final pages and recording any repeats from each D-Class, if any are unable to continue reading such as contracting Stone Man Syndrome or dying of cardiac arrest, that portion of the book is done and the cycle continues. Any repeats of diseases will be recorded on paper to prevent any possibility of mixing diseases up or forgetting which were found. Background Research: SCP-1025, known as the "Encyclopedia of Diseases", is a book which contains information of every disease known and unknown to man, including other SCPs. When information is read silently or allowed, the reader will contract said disease by unknown means. Hypothesis: I believe that due to the constant addition and removal of diseases worldwide, that SCP-1025's pages can not be mapped as the diseases should constantly be changing locations in the book. Observations: THESE WILL BE DIVIDED INTO 3 PARTS IN ORDER TO MAKE READING EASIER FOR ANYONE READING THIS TEST LOG, LABELED 1025 TEST 1-3 1025 Test 1: D-Class personnel is forced into the room housing SCP-1025 after some struggle, freed from restraints, and ordered to read the first 1-10 pages of SCP-1025. D-Class complies and reads out the following diseases in order, Regenerative Cancer (Allows the person infected to regenerate lost tissue, reminiscent of SCP-682's regenerative capabilities), Lung Cancer (You can guess what this is), and Cardiac Arrest (sudden cessation of heart, causes death unless some form of resuscitation is attempted). After this subject is proclaimed dead and his body removed from SCP-1025's Containment Cell (Hereby referred to as SCP-1025's CC). 1025 Test 2: D-Class personnel enters SCP-1025's CC without incident and restraints removed, and subject proceeds to read the middle of SCP-1025 when ordered to. D-Class subject reports that it has read about Asthma (Condition that causes problems with the lungs, leading to lower athletic ability and stamina). D-Class is told to read another page, however after doing so ceases all movement and does not respond to physical stimulants besides eye movement, believed to have contracted Stone Man Syndrome. Subject is shortly after terminated mercifully after consenting to death by injection via looking up and down when asked. 1025 Test 3: D-class personnel enters SCP-1025's CC after a struggle including resisting GENSEC CPL's order to enter the cell, subject complies after being threatened with termination on the spot. D-Class is released and reads the last page of SCP-1025 after more struggle, once again threatened with termination. D-Class reports reading about cardiac arrest and immediately falls to the ground convulsing, and after a few minutes proclaimed dead, Repeat of cardiac arrest noted. Conclusion: Was thinking that I would stand corrected for once, however the cardiac arrest repeat at the end leads me to believe that I am correct in my idea that SCP-1025's contents are constantly changing and that mapping of its pages is simply impossible, and all further attempts to do so should not be allowed due to a waste of time and foundation resources. Was your hypothesis correct?: To put it simply, yes. To put it less simply, due to the way that diseases are constantly changing and being killed off, much like animal species, SCP-1025's pages are affected by this, causing them to change and have repeats throughout the book, however it should still be used in order to identify new threats and anomalous diseases if possible.
  6. Name: JR Dmitri Sourkraut Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 173 Idea: This containment test was inspired by a recent test on 173 that involved using a thermal blanket on SCP-173 to see if watching it via thermals was an option. The test was a failure, however SCP-173 was not able to navigate its surroundings to terminate any personnel involved, which proved that SCP-173 did indeed use eyes as its main sensory system to move around its environment. SCP-131-A and SCP-131-B have been able to stop SCP-173 from moving in the past which proves that SCP-173 will not be able to move when any organism looks at it, even when said organism is not a human. This test is to be used to determine whether or not surrounding SCP-173 with mirrors will cause SCP-173 to always look at itself, therefor essentially containing itself. Background Research: Cameras have proven to be not reliable in keeping SCP-173 from moving, whether it is from power outage or malfunctioning, mirrors don't need electricity and can never malfunction, meaning if this works then we will have a reliable, easy to maintain, and permanent way to keep SCP-173 contained, as long as cleaning routines stay normal, and only one person at a time is needed to clean the cells, making resources used in containing SCP-173 much more inexpensive. Hypothesis: If SCP-173 has some form of higher intelligence, it will realize that it can move if it simply stops looking at itself, if it even has the ability to do so, such as stopping itself from seeing. On the other hand if SCP-173 has the same level as intelligence as for example a type of predatory cat or dog, I do not believe that SCP-173 will be able to move, we will test by throwing a blindfolded D-Class personnel into the mix. Observations: Well nobody exactly wanted to take the job of building a wall of mirrors around SCP-173 and for good reason, I wouldn't want to be at the mercy of something that had no mercy if people blinked at the wrong time either, luckily however Doctor Bright was on site and well, we all know how he is. After Doctor Bright built the mirrors around SCP-173, one GENSEC CPL placed a blindfolded D-Class next to SCP-173 and we proceeded to close the Containment Cell door after said CPL exited the room. waiting 10 seconds after closing the door and breaking all visual contact with SCP-173, we re opened to doors to see that SCP-173 and a confused D-Class personnel were still right where we left them, with the D-Class being slightly paranoid as to why exactly he was in a bit of blood and feces (courtesy of one of SCP-173's anomalous traits. SCP-173 on the other hand had not moved in any way, shape, or form and the test was ended as a success. Conclusion: Welp lads, there you have it! SCP-173 can contain itself by simply looking at something as simple as a mirror, and I request that a suggestion be put in for a revision of SCP-173's containment procedures to the Containment Engineers to make a build plan for a new containment cell completely covered in mirrors. Besides that, I say that following this success SCP-173 may have the possibility of being reclassified as a "Safe" class entity due to the fact we can simply put it in a box with some mirrors to contain it now. Was your hypothesis correct?: Yes it was indeed, and it proves that SCP-173 does not at all have any form of higher intelligence, since surrounding it in mirrors has proven effective at keeping it from moving.
  7. Name: JR Dmitri Sourkraut Rank: Junior Researcher SCPs: 012, 1025 Question / Idea: All test done on SCP-012 (A Bad Composition) have resulted in a test subject either going mad from exposure to SCP-012's effects or self mutilation until said subject expires, this test is to see whether or not that can be changed. Using SCP-1025 (Encyclopedia of Diseases), and a certain disease known to be found within its pages called fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP), or stone man syndrome, which causes the victim to be stuck in place, unable to move at all or do anything. If I can get a Class-D to read the page containing stone man syndrome and expose him to SCP-012, we will be able to find out whether or not SCP-012's effects will cause death in the test subject. Background Research: For those that don't know, SCP-012 is a music sheet that when viewed, leads to the viewer to draw blood and add notes to SCP-012. SCP-1025 is a Encyclopedia of Diseases that when a disease's information is read, is by unknown means given to the reader, ranging from the common cold, cardiac arrest, and other SCPs such as SCP-008, SCP-742, and SCP-217, since all are diseases that just so happen to have anomalous traits. Hypothesis: One of two things is going to happen here, either the Class-D test subject will go insane or the brain may simply turn off after prolonged time exposed to SCP-012's effects while having SCP-1025's stone man syndrome. Observations: We got unlucky as all hell in this test, took 3 goddamn Class-D personnel dying to cardiac arrest before someone finally read about stone man syndrome, and there was a riot on D-Block as we were trying to get into HCZ, besides that there were few issues with getting the Class-D into SCP-012's Containment Chamber (hereby referred to as 012's CC). unlucky however, the door to 012's CC malfunctioned, so we had to stand further back to avoid SCP-012's effect, however Senior Researcher Perkele was able to get the Class-D in there thanks to some equipment he had with him at the time (tell Perkele I said thanks). We believed that nothing was going to happen to the Class-D after around 10 seconds had passed, but then the subject fell to the floor dead, which had confirmed one of my ideas that it would simply cause a victim to will itself into death. We couldn't think on the matter to long though, as the CC of a Euclid class SCP which I do not know the name of breached containment right after the subject expired, leading all personnel involved having to evacuate the area or face death, SCP-012's CC was later fixed and the door closed with no further incidents. Conclusion: Any human exposed to SCP-012's effects without anyone to pull them away from SCP-012 is condemned to death if they cannot resist its anomalous traits, due to them simply expiring even without the inclusion of harming themselves in any way, shape, or form. Was your hypothesis correct?: Yes, SCP-012's effects will cause death eventually even when a subject is not able to physically harm themselves, and will cause the brain to stop functioning if they are unable to do so, maybe this is SCP-012 knowing that they cant add to it and therefore killing them, however the chance that a piece of paper has somehow gained sentience are fairly low and I'm guessing that it is probably the subject itself willing itself to die.
  8. Name: JR Dmitri Sourkraut Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: SCP-012 Question: From what i have seen in 012's file, the only test that have ever been done on 012 have been on one subject at a time, seeing this i decided to see whether or not 012's effects can actually influence more than one test subject at a time. Background Research: Reading through the 012 file, I saw that all test have resulted in either death or fatality, but only with a single individual at a time, this test will be able to add to our understanding of 012 and its capabilities, to eventually be added to 012's file. Hypothesis: Personally, I do not think that 012 will be able to make multiple test subjects attempt to add to the composition at the same time, though it may influence a 2nd test subject to want to add whilst the 1st test subject is actively adding to it. Observations: 3 class-D are forced into the cell by 1 MTF with clearance level 3. Once inside SCP-012's Containment Chamber (hereby referred to as 012's CC), all but one class-D personnel move to the center of 012's CC, with the one standing in the corner, somehow resisting 012's effects. the 2 of the class-D personnel that went to 012 immediately began to use their fingernails to dig into their wrist and surprisingly both work together in creating new music notes on 012 in their own blood. The class-D who was in the corner starts to mumble indistinctly as one of the already affected class-D falls to the ground, at which point he is confirmed deceased. Once the other class-D adding to 012 also falls to the floor of 012's CC, the last remaining class-D begins to add to the composition until death. Once all class-D are confirmed deceased, Janitors remove the corpses and leave 012's CC without any noticeable side effects. Visual Stimuli: No photos were taken of SCP-012 or the experiment due to previous test proving that photos of SCP-012 have the same effect as viewing SCP-012 directly, just slower. Conclusion: I have come to believe that yes, SCP-012 is definitely capable of affecting more than 1 subject at a time, however past 2 subjects exposed to SCP-012, the effects seem to be less effective and people are able to resist 012 even when in close proximity to it, and the effects more than likely continue to be less severe when more and more people are exposed to it at once, though this is not recommended as unless taken out of 012's CC, all test subjects will eventually succumb to the effects of SCP-012. Was your hypothesis correct?: Yes, well sort of, since 2 is the number of people that are 100% going to be fully under SCP-012's effects until 3 or more people are able to resist its effects, which means that I was correct though it was slightly more severe than I originally thought.
