I am good, but the more important question is how are YOU doing?
-
What you want to see? - I want to see certain weapons be selected and placed in a "Criminal Only" category, this would allow these weapons to ONLY be accessible to criminals and NOT Government no matter the rank or department. Why should we add it? - It should be added so that there are criminal specific guns that Government cannot use against them, it can be buffed/de-buffed to create an even playing field in Government vs. Criminals. It will give SMT an easier time in creating a balanced PVP environment, and will increase the actual use for good tactics and strategy on both sides. The more OP the weapon, the higher the cost and more rare it is to get, but it should not be accessible to Government as it is unfair that High Command can 1v5. What are the advantages of having this? - Stated above. Who is it mainly for? - Criminals Links to any content - N/A

+Support I agree that TAC departments and High-Command have the edge over Crim but one thing I would like to point out is they are supposed to have the edge. If we are talking in RP terms, law enforcement train all the time to combat crime, it is expected for Gov to take control of the situation and eliminate the threats. However, crime does in my opinion need a little bit of a buff as this is a PVP server, but here are ways you can achieve that without increasing/messing with the armor of a lot of jobs. 1) Make a suggestion to have a series of guns on the server be ONLY accessible to criminals. - I feel that if this suggestion were made, it would stop a lot of future problems with Gov, it would actually increase the playing field. 2) Buff guns that the majority of Gov cannot use, however this would require you and others to request gun buffs on the discord. - Especially if certain weapons are ONLY accessible to criminals, you can request buffs on certain weapons that feel unsatisfactory. 3) Better coordination and tactics with the people you are playing with. - Coordinating fire upon single targets, better tactics, and working on your PVP skills will drastically change the outcome of most firefights. I can't explain the amount of times I have 1v3'd by jiggle peeking with the shotgun or other weapons. Take your time and make strategies with your team to combat the inevitable TAC rush.

-Support The current system allows FBI an additional objective on the server, if we downgraded to Governor then it would no longer be the FBI's interest in protecting them and it would be pushed to the State police or another department. I feel that the current system we have now enables FBI to have another thing to do including having another sub-division for the exact purpose of protecting the president. This is a semi-serious server and for now in my opinion, we are in a good spot and no big changes need to be made for the presidential role and the FBI's sub-division. However, it is a good idea, just not necessarily a needed change currently.

In-Game Name: Nick Hunter Steam Name: [GL] Hydrex SteamID: STEAM_0:1:52034831 What is your staff rank and the server you work in? Moderator (I was authorized to make this application by Head of Staff Drippy) How often are you online on the forums? Frequently, I am on it multiple times per day usually on an active day. There are some days I can't get on, but if I am actively on, I usually have the forums running in the background while playing on the server. Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? I am qualified to be a Forum Diplomat because I am a dedicated member of the Gaminglight community and I strive to be the best asset I can for not only the staff team but the RP positions I hold on the server. My activity is limited as I am a very busy individual, but when I can manage to get on the server and it's platforms I do my best in helping others and I am happy for that. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision? Yes, I consider myself to have good judgement because I go by the facts, regardless of the situation. I use the rules and the enforcement protocols that are provided for me, not my emotions and opinions when declaring punishments. I don't jump the gun when making decisions, I slow down, collect all evidence and information surrounding any situation and then using that knowledge make my decision. I am not afraid to ask for help regarding a situation and I am always open to help others. I have good judgement because I am level headed, patient, and have years of workplace experience with dealing with angry/upset people and know tactics of verbal de-escalation. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers? Spamming in various topics is a violation of rule 4 of the 'General Forum Rules' section under the 'Forum Rules'. As a Forum Diplomat I would initially hide all of the offenders posts that broke this rule. I would then issue a forum warning and inform the Head Forum Diplomat of the situation and the warning so it could be in effect. I would then contact the offender and introduce myself as a Forum Diplomat and I would explain the offender the following, in order: 1) The situation, the rule(s) the individual broke and why their posts were set to hidden. 2) Refer the offender to the 'Ban Appeals' section of whichever server the individual was banned from. 3) Inform the offender of the warning they are being issued. (If appropriately determined). 4) Ask the offender to delete the spam posts and conclude my contact with this individual. Finally, before I conclude this situation, I would write down the events that happened from start to finish, and the punishment that was assigned to the offender (Warning and posts being set to hidden). I would mark the case as closed and inform the reporting party the results of the investigation. How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal? If a situation arises where two users are aggressively arguing in a warning appeal I would lock the post, but before locking the post I would write a response to the post on why the post is being locked (due to the aggressive arguing) and speak in a de-escalating manner to not aggravate the users anymore then they already are. I would ensure that I put a reason on why the post is being hidden and I would then inform the Head Diplomat of the situation and the resulting actions on my behalf.

Good work soldier

Keep in mind that this warn was BEFORE I became staff, but it was AFTER I applied for staff. It occured on the 27th without a sit, conversation, or anything. I just realized I was warned yesterday, so I created the report today.
-
Your In-game: Nick Hunter The admin's name in-game: Dumpsterfire The admin's steam name (If you know it): Not sure. What warning did you receive: FailRP Evidence of the warn (REQUIRED): Gyazo Link of warn Why do you think this warn was false: I believe this warn is false because I was never brought to a sit, talked to, or recall ever doing anything that broke RP on the 27th. What may have happened was since my name is Nick Hunter, there may have been a player by the name of "Nick" or "Hunter" that Dumpsterfire was warning and used the in-game chat to warn the player instead of the !warns menu and I got tagged along in the warn because my name is "Nick Hunter". I think this is a very possible reason for my false warn, like I previously stated, I do not recall ever going into a sit, having a conversation with Dumpsterfire, or in general breaking any server rules that day. Any extra information: I tried contacting Dumpsterfire through DMs on Discord but he didn't answer (most likely busy) but I would like to hear the other side of the story. The reason I didn't realize I was warned at an earlier time is because when I applied for staff I took a screenshot of my warns and I had 0 warns so I never thought to check my warns again as I didn't do anything. What you want to see? - A section of the Blogs that shows the history of player's healing and using armor kits. Why should we add it? - Evidence for reports that claim a player combat healed or used armor. What are the advantages of having this? - Stated above. Who is it mainly for? - Staff. Links to any content - N/A (Current BLOGS system)

State update go crazy -
I think that everyone within the FBI gov organization is very nice and I've had a blast playing with you guys but I just don't think FBI is personally for me right now, I was interested in HRT but I miss my SWAT boys. Good luck to you all!

Your in game name: Nick Hunter The player's in game name: OFC Don Miler 1A68 The player's steam ID (required): STEAM_0:1:449952661 What did the player do: NLR|RDA|Taser Rushing|Stealing a vehicle as GOV|RDM Evidence (required): Evidence What do you believe should happen to the player: Up to the staff team, I would just like some sort of of punishment given. Any extra information: The player understood how the taser worked, how the handcuffs worked (as in how to put people in vehicle and kick them out etc), and how to repair vehicles. He is not a brand new player to the server if he understands how this type of stuff works, either way if he didn't, not knowing the rules isn't a defense.

Absolutely, I still can't believe how many attempts it took for me to taze that one civilian stealing my FBI vehicle

Recently my Garry's Mod has not been saving advert keybinds and I know a few other players have this problem so I am just going to put this here to help anyone who is also experiencing this issue as this has stopped the problem for me. 1. Goto Steam, and right click on Garry's Mod. 2. Select "Properties..." 3. Select "LOCAL FILES" and select "Browse..." 4. (Now you are in the Garry's Mod local files) select "garrysmod" 5. Select "cfg" then open "autoexec" 6. Put the commands/binds you want then click save (CONTROL + S) on "File" and you may exit out. I put an example below of my keybinds.
