I have not been in long enough to comment, but one thing that I hope is happening is RP. EMS isn't just respond to dead people, there is a whole world of RP aspect you could be doing/implementing. I am writing a document to help better influence RP, I am going to try and take EMT protocols and dumb it down, so you can have good RP. Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) I believe that I deserve the rank of Trial-Moderator because I am a proven dedicated member of the GamingLight community. I resigned from the community to advance in my career and go through EMT school, which I all did and passed. I am now, a returning ex-staff/player, re-applying for the position I once had. GamingLight showed me friends, a fun server, and a good environment and I want to give back to the players from an administrative aspect, to protect them and be the last line of defense for the community. I know I just recently re-joined the server, and I know that I have been gone for a long time, but the quality of me as a person has not deteriorated and I want to get back to doing what I love, helping people, and IRL I am a Firefighter, EMT, and Law Enforcement. In my free time I want to spend some of my time here, in GamingLight. I want it to be known that I am a busy person and there may be days I can't get on, but understand that when I can get on I will put 100% effort into the community and if there is an extended time where I cannot get on I will file for LOA. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? Before making an attempt to handle this situation I would first ensure I am away from the RP environment, cloaked, and god-moded. I would then bring the player in question and strip him of all weapons, due to the nature of the complaint. I would gather facts through the logging system and depending on what I find will result in the punishment. If the logs prove that the player was Mass RDMing I will follow the enforcement protocols, if the player wasn't Mass RDMing, I would return the player and contact whoever made the report and clear any confusion.

+1 Mar is someone you can always count on, when it comes to staff he is professional, responsible, and knowledgeable. He is a very important team member and every interaction I've had with him was a positive one. When I was Low Command for PD a while ago, I saw him in action, he is a great role model as well. Not promoting Mar would be a disservice to the community, as people like him are needed to fill these roles.

Hey guys, it's been a while, 10 months about. I hope all of you have been well and flourishing. I left the community to pursue my dreams and get my career started. I've done that and I've been working for an amazing police department for some time now. I am glad to see a lot of you are still here and I can't wait to catch up. I will not be on every single day as I am busy with my job as well as being a volunteer firefighter and EMT. I will however, be getting back into GL and helping where I am needed, maybe re-apply for staff one day, but for now, I am going to take things slow. How have you all been? This is a community like no other, I haven't met people in another community quite like this one. The amount of amazing people is incomparable to anything else I've seen in GMOD. Life has taken a turn where I need to step up, I need to work towards my career more and I feel GMOD has taken time from me where I can be working on these goals. It is almost time for me to join the police academy, I need to spend more time preparing and I need to focus on my career. This community has shown me nothing but friendship, good times, and nostalgia. I wish you all nothing but the absolute best in your futures. If you want to do something, if you want to achieve something, you CAN do it. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise, even if the goal seems so impossible, it can be done. I've done wrestling, rugby, hockey, baseball, and football and the best sport is a tie between rugby and football. Rugby, everyone gets to shine, unlike football where the linemen are in the trenches but never really get credit. In rugby, if you are huge and brawly, you can slam it to the other end of the field like nothing and be crazy.

I don't know about you guys but I have been playing GMOD for years, I've also played a lot of horror games, besides the jump scares from horror games there is just something that compares to GMOD singleplayer, the ambience noise, being alone on the map, and the conspiracies that have come up about GMOD singleplayer is just creepy to me. Anyone else have an experience or feel the same way about it? Also, people have made videos of the "iceberg" of GMOD and I find it very, interesting.

- Support Everything was stated above, I think that you can become staff eventually but you need to work on your reputation with the community. Also when I got Low Command for PD you were questioning me on how I got it and debunking it as if it wasn't supposed to happen, kind of rude but that type of attitude for others is frowned upon.

+ Support Some have said that nobody plays Judge and that this won't do anything, that is the problem, not giving Judge any additional things to do is probably why no one plays it, this is just another addition that would probably attract players to the role. I think this is a great idea.

+ Support Just because the rule can be added in all SOPs doesn't mean it will, it is very annoying seeing the wanted spam in arena and people have reported lag from if even if you have or have not experienced it. Either it should be enforced by having all departments put it in SOP, making it so gov in arenas cannot make other people wanted, or just not allow gov in.

- Support I understand that you have been banned for a very long time, but consider the following... • You had 51 chances to change your act and not get permanently banned. • You have been in a minimum of 51 staff sits, why didn't you change your act after the first one? • This type of toxic behavior shouldn't be allowed back in this community, I say the ban should stay in effect. • Appeal is WAY to short for an infraction as big as this one. You may have changed as a person, and I am a big one on understanding that but you had 51 chances to change your act. That is A LOT of chances.

+ Support but hear me out, Yes, the individual advertised which is a serious infraction BUT, here are some factors to consider. • It has been a little over a year and the individual still wants to come back into the community, people can change in a year. • He advertised his YouTube channel, yes it is advertising but it could have been worse. (Example: Advertising other GMOD communities) • Responded to other comments on his appeal post and seems to me like Authorized wants to actually return to the community. Compromise: I say Authorized gets unbanned, but if any activity like this happens ever again the ban should be restored. The ban is completely legit, I am just saying that it has been a year and he may have changed and if the slim chance shows that he didn't change it would take 20 seconds to re-ban him again. +Support If you do come back to the community and the ban is lifted, I suggest that you open the MOTD and take a 10 minute read of it and ensure that you won't be exploiting or breaking other rules again. The type of rule you broke is a big one, but it wasn't necessarily game breaking, it just interfered with RP because you avoided punishment. I say the ban should be lifted but if you break rules in the future that are similar for the one you were originally banned for the ban should be restored. Best of luck in the appeal process.

As the staff who distributed the warning I am going to give my point of view, I received a report about D Snuts returning to an NLR zone after death, upon further investigation with the logs, the 2 photos above are the photos I took via screenshot. Before I get started and say what happened from my point of view I would like to cover a couple things I saw reading this post. 1) When you said you "did not mean to walk into the NLR zone", you didn't explain that to me and I saw these pictures and made my enforcement decision off of these photos because you didn't say anything to me when I asked for your side of the story. 2) When you said that you were forced into a gunfight, I will investigate that further and if the individual RDMd you, a sit will be created about that. This warning was because you returned to an NLR zone within 3 minutes after death which is a rule in the MOTD under General Rules. 3) When you say that you were unable to defend yourself during the sit, I gave you multiple opportunities to plead your case and give me any information I would need to hear, I never shut you out and I never did anything that would prevent you from giving me the information needed. I was very fair and again, I did not make it so you couldn't defend yourself because I've asked at least 2 times requesting your side of the story and you did not give me the information you stated in this post. 4) D Snuts is a good person, I just want to make it clear that I followed the proper staff expectations and procedures and did my job to the best of my ability when enforcing this rule, I did not give this warning out because I wanted to, it was because after reviewing the logs and the information given during the situation entirely, I rendered the decision to warn D Snuts for being in the NLR zone after death within 3 minutes. (NLR Timer) Now getting into the facts of what happened, screenshot 1 shows D Snuts attempting to hijack the car, and on the bottom right you can see below the left steam picture it says "20 minutes ago", D Snuts died in this interaction and then respawned. Screenshot 2 shows D Snuts is still in the same NLR area and it says "21 minutes ago", 1 minute had passed when D Snuts re-entered the NLR zone, he may have been RDMd, I am still looking into it through logs but that doesn't negate the fact that he returned to the NLR zone within 3 minutes after death. I am not saying the warn should be kept or removed I am just here stating the facts from my point of view. Best of luck D Snuts, I hope this helps superior staff reach a decision.
