ShadowLancer
What are you suggesting? - The rules be updated to disallow shooting while in a dancing animation How would this change better the server? - It's very hard to see d-class actually shooting or even holding weapons like pistols in the dancing animation, and two people have died to it today because you can't identify that they have a weapon Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - It's a bit of a mundane change, perhaps unnecessary, but it's a QOL thing so it doesn't become a problem in the future. Who would this change mostly benefit? - The D-Block guards, as the D-class can absolutely abuse the animations to hide their weapons and shooting, as after I died it took a solid five seconds for anyone to realize that he was shooting people and kill him. Loaff
This is already a rule, it's just not explicitly stated, rather it falls under the blanket of exploiting. This would qualify as exploiting to gain an advantage and is a punishable offense. 2 Former Ranks Head Of Maintenance And Engineering Senior Admin Support Supervisor Forum Diplomat Custom Classes The Sniper (Owner) XG56-Orion's Belt (Owner) The Engineer

Other examples include breaking models to obscure hitboxes, pulling out weapons while cuffed, etc. If you see these behaviors, do call staff as I’ve noticed an increase in people getting away with it Former: Deputy Head of Research | MTF Nu-7 Captain x2 | SCPRP Super Admin | MTF O-1 Major

Sixx
+Support If this is truly a rule, I think SMT should make it more obvious in the MOTD. Coltable
This is an exploit, using the dancing animation gets rid of a players weapons visually, A player if found abusing such can be warned by staff for (minor) exploiting.
Coltable
Denied. The SCP-RP SMT has decided against adding this suggestion for performance reasons, the benefit to the server, or another unstated reason.
