Zombinator Posted July 23, 2021 Share Posted July 23, 2021 What are you suggesting? - Updating the GENSEC SOP to reflect the updated Research SOP in regards to Code Black being "Research at your own risk" for all ranks of researcher. Currently, the GENSEC SOP under D-Block Operations in the Research section rule number three states "Experienced Researchers and lower may not test on Condition Black or lower (orange is acceptable). No testing is allowed on Condition Red. Researchers are not to pose as GENSEC." and should be changed to allow Condition Black research. How would this change better the server? - Standardizing documents should be a point of pride for all of us. When the Research SOP was updated to allow Code Black testing, all mentions of Code Black research in all SOPs should have been updated as well. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - I can't think of one. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Researchers. Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - Code Black from Research SOP states "Condition Black Keter and Euclid level breaches have been confirmed on-site. Groups of Interest have also been reported to be on-site. Venturing out of bunks is at your own risk, and you may be captured." This change occurred within the last month and grants all Research personnel the ability to continue testing during Code Black in lieu of sitting in spawn, useless.
