Why do you believe that you are the best fit for HCMD?: My past experience as both DHOR and Nu-7 CPT have left me with both experience in command in a combatant branch and generally as HCMD. I know what is expected of HCMD members, such as keeping up the reputation of the branch, keeping documents up to date and accurate, and ensuring that activity is maintained by both enlisted and CMD members. My past roles in both RP and combatant branches prove my capabilities to run a branch which is capable of combat while also increasing the RP environment in an enjoyable way.

Why do you want to be HCMD?: Like many in HCMD and Site Administration, I have a passion for creation. Allowing my creativity to flow has lead to some of my proudest achievements on the server, such as in the creation of the covert agency in Nu-7 (alongside Toasty, no good creator works alone) or the refurbishing of the RFA (again, alongside Moonrose, Light, Billybob, and the various other RFA heads). I love to make quality new experiences for people on the server to enjoy and Omega-1 would likely become my largest passion project to date.

How do you plan on running the branch?: First and foremost with a "Special Forces" type of branch is self-control. The branch cannot step on the other branch's toes and it will need to be unique in its position. One of the largest threats to this uniqueness would be to make it an exact replica of Alpha-1, this, I feel, would be a huge mistake. While the two branches will obviously mirror each other in some regards, as they are undeniably tied together in lore, they both need to be able to shine on their own. As such, I would likely consult heavily with Alpha-1 HCMD (Hi Goat) to make sure that while a similarity could be seen, the differences are made just as obvious. The branch will also need to be run with self-control in the RP environment, power-gaming and egotism will have absolutely no place in the branch under my leadership, not in enlisted or in command. The branch will run its duties as needed and peacefully keep to itself, making sure to not overstep its boundaries, which I believe to be in spirit of both best gameplay and Omega-1 in lore. 

What skills and qualities do you possess that show you are competent enough to run the branch?: First and foremost, I'm a responsible and organized person. I keep up with tasks as they come to me, systematically ensuring that all the work that needs to be completed gets done. Back in research my fellow HCMD had to fight with me to get their share of the roster work (sorry Moonrose) because when I see something that can be done, I will make sure that it is. I am also responsible in the sense that I own up to my mistakes, I'm a human after all so those are inevitable. If I make an error, I do the best I can to fix it and take it as a lesson going forward. I'm also highly open to communication, while I will keep chain of command in check for duties that could be performed by low command, this is to ensure structure, not out of a dislike of feedback from those in lower ranks than myself which I will remain entirely open to. I take critique impersonally, I found that most of the feedback I received in Research was not about me (or any CMD member for that matter) but rather about the way ideas were implemented and the feedback was about the ways that idea could be implemented better. 

How will you maintain branch relationships and upkeep communication with other branches?: As I've always said, branch relationships start at the top. If I don't take into consideration those I work alongside who are trying to take steps towards similar goals, I could not possibly do my job effectively. A change to one branch is ultimately a change to most in some shape or form, especially when the branch has such global scope like Omega-1 will. It would be incredibly unfair to my fellow HCMD to not take their goals into consideration in my implementation of Omega-1. This would mean forming all policy around the consideration of every branch and talking to other HCMD as often as possible to ensure this. The current ethics codes already do a good job of giving each branch their own unique position and I hope to take the spirit of these codes and run with it, making sure that Omega-1 will be a branch that improves the experience of everyone, not a self-serving nightmare.
