  1. + SUPPORT While under current leadership of Harry Jr. we have seen many of combat situations and leadership intensive scenarios. When no one else would step up Harry Jr. did and did very well! Harry Jr has shown good leadership and we need someone in this role of medical so it can grow and become better! Their responses to the questions I felt were well thought out and they took their time in thinking about the answers and not just quickly filled out the application. Harry Jr. Has made changes to the Medical SOP and they made sure that those changes were implemented well! BEST OF LUCK HARRY JR!
  2. With the respawn timers set so low, many medics will push out in the open to defib the downed victim but then the person will respawn and then the medic goes down too. Here is what I suggest, we should make the respawn timer 1-2 minutes before one can respawn so that Medical can have a purpose and try to quickly RP out the respawn. For example, person goes down, Para rescue goes up and attempts to provide CPR, where then the medic who is working on them and if they succeed then all they have to do is defib them which brings them back instantly. Yes, many people will not like the length of having to wait to get defibbed but it will give medical a purpose. In battle many of the troops do not want to RP out a surgery in the field because they want to get back in the action, but this leaves Medical in a bind in my opinion as why would someone with a tactical insert need a defib when they can just spawn in 8 seconds after death 100% without having to wait to get a defib. On the ship people use death to quickly get back to their bunks on the ship. In doing this it would practically force more RP and make the troops who transport us around a job as well. Just an opinion I felt like sharing and I could see improve overall RP!
  3. +SUPPORT They are a great community friend, overall wonderful person, very calm demeanor, and can handle many various situations with speedy results. I have seen them calmy and effectively handle multiple situations going on at the same time and do it very well! Hope to see you become a GM soon!
  4. + SUPPORT Great player and awesome attitude for officer! They are level headed, which I believe is crucial in good leadership! I believe they would be a huge asset to the officer role!
  5. 1: What's you're in-game name and rank(Ex: MC IRS SGM Harry 8900): MC PRFS MSGT Ganrik 1039 2: What's your Timezone?: Mountain 3: What's your SteamID?: STEAM_0:1:65733330 4: How long have you been in Medical?: 3 weeks 5: Who were the 2 MAJ+ who gave permission for this application?: CO Harry & VC Kavis 6: Why should you be a Medical Officer? (100+ words): Not only do we need more official presence in Medical, but we need more active officers who have started making bonds with the community in a positive light! In the short time, I have made so many friends and have begun establishing bonds with people! That is what being an officer means to me creating positive bonds and fun memories. While I do understand I have not been here long, I feel like I have known everyone for years now. I am still learning the RP side of things but I feel I have the common core and concepts down pat. I enjoy helping people and showing what I know to others if they want to learn more in-depth about what I feel is important to the roleplay. A real-world experience I am a former EMT-A/Firefighter so I have seen my fair share of nasty events and I have implemented that into my roleplay. I really enjoy Medical and this is where I feel I belong as I have tried the other battalions and they just aren’t for me. 7: Why should we trust you as a Medical Officer? (100+ words): I am an open and honest person, I tend to be brutally honest at some points. That may be my downfall as I really have no filter at some points, but I do not anger easily and I feel that I keep very calm under pressure. I do not hold back on what I feel is right and peer pressure does not affect me much if I see someone actively breaking the rules I will either let them know one on one or reinforce what has been told to us to do. While this strategy seems to be more passive it can send the right message and that is the ultimate goal! I wish to keep the Roleplay going and go more in-depth if people want to do it! 8: What do you bring to the Medical Corps? (100+ words): Real-world experience as an EMT, my in-game role play is improving but OOC I love D&D and am using that into my roleplay. Currently I am a trial mod and working more with the community where I am establishing myself as a core individual who wants to help the community grow! I am trying to get my IRL friends to join up so they can enjoy this as much as I do. I have done quite a few surgeries as Pararescue and enjoy them very much. I have yet to lose a patient on the table due to the assistance I have had and to quick reactions in order to make sure our patients do not Code Black on the table. I enjoy meeting goals and surpassing them when I can, and everyone in the server has been very welcoming so I feel that creating these bonds is crucial to the community and therefore MC. 9: Why should we accept your application over other applicants? (100+ words): I do not feel that I should be picked over anyone else, but I do feel that I can be an asset to the team as a whole and make it so that we have more people coming in who enjoy the roleplay of Medical! I am highly adaptive to where once I have seen something be done I can replicate it and keep on recreating it flawlessly. I love our battalion and I just want to help where I can to make it even better and get more people to join up! I hope to see more people on doing medical rp and to get involved because to me it is the best RP you can do because it is a revolving door and you make friends daily from it! 10: Do you have any warns? If so what for?: No warns.
  6. + Support! A great player, loves Medical, and is overall a team player! Takes charge in a leader position and should be considered to the officer ranks!
  7. + SUPPORT! Theta is a great admin and should be apart of the JMT+ They have displayed great judgement, and great decision making. Overall a great person in general and is a huge addition to the staff!
  8. + Support All though I am in no position! That looks pretty solid to me Rose! Awesome job on that layout.
  9. Love to see it! I feel continuing changes will keep things fresh and new! When you add more elements for people to go crazy with then you start seeing more activity! Would love to see semi-permanent bases involved to get us off the ship for a while and allow us to stretch our feet!
  10. What is your in-game name?: Ganrik 1039 What is your steam name?: Ganrik What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:65733330 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: No What date did you start playing on the community? 04/15/23 What date did you make your forums account? 04/15/23 Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank) Member? I think How many warns do you have on the server? 0 Have you donated? Yes Darth level total of $125 What rank are you applying for? Trial Mod Have you read the staff guidelines at: Yes You will be tested on it: Yes! With a reply Timezone: Mountain Permission (Admin+ need this): N/A Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (Can be any length): I love this server and the community! I have been here for only a week and am new to Garry's mod and Starwars RP in general. But I have made many friendships with almost every on the server I feel. I do not anger easily, and work very well under pressure! I have also been married for 13+ years so patience is my strong suit! (Don't tell my wife I said that she would beat me.) I love the staff and I have seen that many of them are overworked right now with the amount of stuff going on and I am always catching RDM's happening to new prospective community members just trying to get out of the ST barracks. This community has been very supportive and very friendly and I would like to pay it forward to more new people like myself! How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: First, I would patiently sit silent until they were finished, because maybe they are venting about IRL stuff or just mad at a situation, and then proceed to tell them the punishments of Mass RDM'ing. Now if they have never had a warning before depending on the scenario you could issue a Formal Warning and arrest them if they agree to not continue the activity and make sure they have vented but intend to RP. If no intent to RP is had then I would Give the Formal warning along with the 5-day ban. During the sit though if they continued to swear nonstop then I would just gag them so they could only listen to what needed to be said and then ungag them at the end of what had to be stated. Obviously many cases are case by case which can prove tricky which at that point one may need to ask a senior mod+ to see what the next course of action should be. I have run into many Mass RDM'ers who trophy the fact they don't get banned and come back every night on the server from 3am-5am just randomly killing ST's.
