  1. Start: 8/14/23 ends:9/04/23 Reason: in a third world country
  2. + Support Would be a benefit to any command team
  3. Name: Jerimiah Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:57344898 Rank in Event Team: SET Date of Joining Event Team: 05/01/2023 Date since last promotion: 06/25/2023 Why should you be remaining as an Event Team Member? (ALL ET RANK | 100+ words)? I should remain in the event team due to my clean track record (never having missed my quota nor receiving a strike for other reasons), the initiative I show when it comes to helping others and when completing my duties as a senior member of the event team. I also take my duties in mentoring trainees very seriously as well as helping to recruit and train new members into the event team as I have shown my willingness to help during the interview process on multiple occasions. I am also no nonsense as shown by the recent incident and will continue to pursue anyone who abuses the powers provided by being a member of the event team. Any Notes, Questions, or Concerns? NA
  4. In-Game Name: Jerimiah Steam Name: [GL] Sleeping Giant SteamID: STEAM_0:1:57344898 What is your discord username (Ex: Bon#1922): sleepinggiant190 What is your staff rank in Gaminglight? Senior Moderator and Senior Event Team in SCPRP How often are you on Teamspeak? Almost every day How often do you use Discord? Everyday Why would you like to be a member of the Support Team? (150 word minimum)? I would like to be a member of the support team primarily as I want to be able to help the community with any issues they may face while playing. As well as this as I am already striving to take every sit I can and help with any event that I'm asked to as I want to give back to the community that has given me so much enjoyment the past 5 months. I have also on more than one occasion had to wait for support in the Requesting Support channel on the team speak for more than 30 minutes. I wish to make it so others don't have to worry about that and can get back to playing the game as soon as possible. Finally, and probably the vainest reason, I would like to be a member of the support team as I see it as a stepping stone to higher places in the staff team, as my end goal is to be a member of the JMT. Why should we trust you to become a member of the Support Team? You should trust me to be a member of the support team for a number of reasons, firstly I have been a member of the Gaminglight servers for around 5 months now and haven't received a single warn, as well as this I believe I have never had a staff/ player report made against me. Also as stated earlier I am currently trusted as a senior moderator in SCPRP as well as this I am the LTCMDR of MTF Omega-1 and a LTCOL in Epsilon-11, in both these branches I go above and beyond in making sure any issues are resolved to the best of my ability. How would you greet someone that has a problem in one of our tickets, or support channels? I would first give a general greeting along the lines of "Hello, thank you for waiting. I'm Jerimiah with the Gaminglight support team" If I already knew their issue I would confirm it with them (and try to get more information) before attempting to solve said issue If I do not already know their issue I would ask them about their issue and then proceed to try and fix their issue.
  5. What is your in-game name?: Jerimiah What is your steam name?: [GL] Sleeping Giant What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:57344898 What is your discord username (Ex: Rookieblue#2667): sleepinggiant190 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) What date did you start playing on the community?: 5 months ago | 141 days ago What date did you make your forums account? April 4 2023 How many warnings do you have on all GL servers? 0 https://tools.gaminglight.com/profile/76561198074955525 What is your donor rank? (User, Silver, Gold, etc) Platinum Are you a staff member in another community? No Have you read the staff handbook? Yes Timezone: GMT / BST What rank are you applying for? Admin Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) I deserve the rank of admin due to the time and effort I have put into making the server a better place for all users. Be it my time in command positions in branches or my time on the staff team totalling around 3 months now. As well as this I am a senior member of the event team and just wish to create an environment where people can enjoy themselves. I believe being an admin would go a step further in fulfilling this goal. As well as this I am almost constantly one of the people who completes the most amounts of sits per week. Totalling now close to 1000 (I assume, due to the staff page is bugged) I believe that this alone shows my dedication to the server and the staff team in specific. Finally given that I am in GMT/BST I would be one of the few non-American admins that play during the daytime (my time zone) meaning that I would be able to handle sits that moderators/ senior moderators cannot during these times. Meaning people would have lower waiting times when requiring help during off hours. Scenario questions: Select any two of the following four questions to answer for this section. Please note, in the scenario questions we are not expecting perfect answers. We are assessing your critical thinking skills, your ability to use the staff handbook, and come to reasonable conclusions. Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? Firstly I would politely ask the individual to stop with the profanity as there's no real need for it as well as inform them if they go any further it'll be a warn for staff disrespect. If they do continue I would mute/ gag them, give them the warn and continue with the sit. After this I would gather all the available evidence, admin logs, user clips, etc. and if they all lead me to believe that they have indeed been MRDMing I would inform them that they will be getting another formal warning for MRDM and a 5 day ban from the server as it's not right for other players to have their enjoyment spoilt due to his behaviour. Q4: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this? I would ask for any available evidence of what has been reported. If there is a reasonable amount of evidence showing he knew he was abusing a bug I would warn & ban him for exploitation. However if there wasn't enough/ any evidence I would then end the sit and proceed to spectate the user to keep an eye on what they're doing. If they then exploit/ use the bug again I would pull them into a sit again and proceed to warn & ban him.
  6. In-game name: Jerimiah SteamID: STEAM_0:1:57344898 Current RP rank in All Divisions (Ex. Senior Medic, Security Officer): E11 HFTO & MAJ, Delta-4 Chaplain, Omega-1 LT, Maintenance Professional, Advanced Researcher How long have you been a Event Team Member: Approximately 2 months Have you received any strikes (please give reasons if you remember): N/A - I have never received a strike and never plan to. How much time do you have on the server? (Press F1): 1,378:01 How well do you know the SCP lore in general?: I would rate my overall knowledge of SCP lore at around a 7.5, I know a fair amount however niche things will still trip me up. Why do you WANT to become a Senior Event Team Member?: I wish to be a member of the Senior Event Team due to the potential it hold for hosting more and better events. I think that if I was given SET I could drive player engagement up, especially that of new members to the server with more frequent events like Riots and mass breaches. Being an SET would also allow me to help my fellow Event Team Members in the creation of their events and PTs Why should you be trusted to be a Senior Event Team Member?: I believe that I should be trusted as a senior member of the event team due to my experience on the server (almost 5 months at this point), never receiving a warn and my experience in in-game branch command roles. Personally I strive to bring enjoyment to the people on the server and I believe I have shown this the past few months in both my positions in event team (hosting events and PTs) as well as my position in the staff team as a senior moderator (dealing with issues between players). Have you mastered ULX?: Yes, I have an extremely high proficiency/ mastery of the commands I have access to at the time of writing. Are you experienced with planning Mega Events?: I have planned mega events before although they haven't been carried out yet. Give an example of a mega event: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jUB7vZDU3W-97c347vllEE78vD-Vn3GaGVt-eY-Vwiw/edit?usp=sharing What do you consider to be the best event you have ever created: I believe that the best event I did was an event I did alongside Gigazet where we created 3 flesh style SCPs and allowed them to enter site. The SCPs caused havoc until contained by NU7 at which point they were tested on by research. I think this was my best event due to how flexible everyone was and how much everyone who was involved enjoyed the event. What is your Total Amount of Events according to the "Events Hosted" column on the roster?: as there is no Events Hosted column on the roster anymore I have go via the past events table. due to this my number may not be 100% accurate but I have made around 40 to 50 event team logs. How active can you be: If I had to rate myself on a scale of 1-10 based on activity I would give myself an 8-9. As shown by the battle metrics link earlier I am incredibly active every week. I am able to play almost every day for at least 2 hours.

  8. Name: Jerimiah | Hephaestus | Ironclad Current and former RP ranks (max of 3 of each): Current: E11 Major/ Delta-4 Judiciar/ DHFTO || G.O.C. The deep and rich lore associated with Omega-1 presents an exciting avenue for immersive roleplay, character development, and collaborative storytelling. I am eager to embrace the lore, contribute to the server's roleplay potential (hopefully helping to bring it away from a primarily combat-focused server), and create an engaging and enjoyable experience for myself and fellow players. What skills and qualities makes you best fit to be Omega-1 Command?: The skills that show I am the best fit for a member of the Omega-1 Command team are as follows: Dedication: I have consistently demonstrated my dedication through my unwavering commitment to playing on the SCPRP server. For the past four months, I have devoted a significant portion of my time to immersing myself in the server's community and gameplay, logging in almost every day without fail. My dedication to the SCPRP server is unmistakable, as I continuously engage and showcase my profound enthusiasm for being an active participant. Additionally, I can confidently assure you that my level of dedication is unwavering and will continue to remain so in the future. My passion for the server and its gameplay loop remains as strong as ever. My substantial server playtime serves as a testament to my commitment, showcasing my reliability and investment in contributing positively to the community.[BattleMetrics] Openness: I am confident that my consistent openness and transparency make me a strong candidate for a command position in Omega-1. During my time on the SCPRP server, I have always prioritized clear and honest communication with my fellow branch members. I recognize the crucial significance of creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can freely share their thoughts, worries, and opinions. To achieve this, I strive to maintain an approachable attitude that promotes communication and teamwork among each of the branch members. Fairness: My commitment to fairness makes me an ideal candidate for a command role. I firmly believe in treating all individuals with respect and impartiality, regardless of their background or position. I actively seek diverse perspectives, ensuring that decisions are made based on merit and objective criteria rather than personal bias. With my unwavering commitment to fairness, I am confident that I can lead by example and inspire others to embrace these principles, ultimately driving the the branch towards greater success. Willingness to take part: As a member of both command and the staff team, I have consistently risen to every challenge presented to me, showcasing my dedication and adaptability. In my role as DHFTO, I have created vital documents such as the current field training guide for E11, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date training resources. Additionally, as a G.O.C. Officer and Strike Team Lead, I am currently revising the G.O.C. and Strike Team SOPs to guarantee the smooth running of the branch, even in the face of unpredictable situations. Beyond my command duties, I actively contribute to the staff team by hosting joint "training" sessions (PTs) between E11 and other branches. Through my organization of collaborative PTs, I have showcased my coordination and planning abilities, while simultaneously strengthening relationships between various branches. During my time on the command and staff team, I have consistently shown an unwavering determination to surpass expectations, even when faced with obstacles. I am committed to continually improving our processes, ensuring that E11 remains at the forefront of excellence. With my track record of stepping up to every challenge and my ability to adapt to various roles, I am confident in my capacity to contribute positively to the success of Omega-1. On a scale of 1-10, how well do you know the Code of Ethics?: I would rate my knowledge of the code of ethics at an 8. The individual numberings of each of them still trip me up as there are so many of them.
  9. + Support Frog deserves a chance to prove himself as a member of HCMD again and O1 would be a perfect place.
  10. What are you suggesting? - The addition of the commonly used NLR timer to all SCP's How would this change better the server? - It would make it easier for people that play on SCPs to know when they can re-breach if they're CCs aren't closed after they die. This should help avoid any sits for SCPs breaking NLR. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - I cannot think of how this brings any disadvantage to any player that does not intend to break rules. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Staff + people that play on SCPs Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A
  11. + Support, though RCU could still do with more health
