  1. Name: Snaxx Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:184616928 Rank in Event Team: SET Date of Joining Event Team: 4/5/23 Date since last promotion: 7/19/23 Why should you be remaining as an Event Team Member? (ALL ET RANK | 100+ words)? The Event Team is a group of individuals in which i just admire. I look at all of you like family. The time I've had with all of you since my acceptance has been beyond amazing, and that is an understatement. We represent as ET. We are the reason people take interest in things going on around our site. Our job is very important, and as a team, as a group of many creative individuals, we can make anything happen. I love being able to bring a very interesting scenario onto our site and watch as the server adapts to the many different custom variables and situations. Nothing feels better than making such a good event, and peaking the interest of almost everyone on the server. That is how you know you've done more than amazing. To be able to have this effect on our community is a great accomplishment, and I would love to be a part of it for as long as i can. Any Notes, Questions, or Concerns? Versa is stinkier

    Snaxx's ET ROA

ROA or LOA: ROA Name: Snaxx Rank: ETM Start Date: 5-30-23 End Date: 6-14-23 Reason: Supporting my family though a passing. Have not been able to pay attention to the server as much. Making ET events is difficult for me at the moment. I will be on from time to time making as many events as I'm able to in my current state. I thought it would be better making an ROA instead of talking to each individual person.
  3. + Support ~ Very active ~ Past Experience ~ Professional when it comes to RP ~ Long-Time Player
  4. In-Game Name: Snaxx Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:184616928 ULX Rank (Donator Rank/Staff Rank): Platinum How long have you been playing on the server?: I have 2 weeks of hours on the server. I have been playing on this server actively since early January though. I used to play way back in 2020. Have you read the SCP-RP Event Team Guidelines: Of course How many warns do you have? (Screenshot): None Why do you want to join event team?: There is many things to know about me but what I personally think is one of my most outstanding qualities is that I am very creative. I've always been the person to think outside the box, and come up with ideas unheard of. Irl, I'm an artist. I have an artistic eye in everything. Being an artist, creativity is a must. I like to build, create environments, and spaces in as much detail as my prop limit lets me Being in Event Team, I would create things ranging from simple structures, to complicated and insanely detailed environments needed for even the biggest of events. I already have some dupes made used for things such as checkpoints, to offices, NLR towers, etc that I take my time building from the ground up with max prop limit each. Using my expertise with the tool gun and building, I would really love using my knowledge and abilities to assist the event team, and create amazing events everyone on the server would really enjoy. I already use my prop limit out, being in ET would only allow me to take my creativity to a whole new level. Why should you be trusted to be part of the Event Team?: I used to be a super admin for a server a while back for years, and now I'm proudly a part of this lovely community as a moderator. You can trust me with your life for absolutely anything. I have never gotten a single warn within all of my time in Gaming light, and i never intend to. I take pride being a part of this community and especially the staff team. It's an honor to be helping a community as good as our SCP RP community alongside the best staff team Gaming light has to offer. If I am accepted, I'm more than excited to see what I can offer for our server to make our events as fun, and as enjoyable as possible. Are you familiar/experiences with ULX?: Absolutely, like it's my own name. Describe an event you could create (Be specific): I always wondered what the foundation would look like, if 106's pocket dimension seeped into the real world. I would love to create an event where research is doing a very redacted and heavy experiment involving 106. The experiment would go wrong, inevitably enhancing 106s abilities. Instead of 106 bringing people into his pocket dimension, 106 would bring the pocket dimension to them. In SCP lore, SCP-106 is a God-Like entity when he is in his own pocket dimension, as in lore, he can travel to his own dimension. There, he is able to manipulate the rooms, and create different worlds, and environments. He can even summon and create objects and entities like a literal god, all to torture his victim to inevitable death. As 106 brings the pocket dimension to the real world, those abilities would also unlock, making 106 the biggest threat the SCP Foundation has faced. 106 would summon corrosion portals, similar to the ones seen in "Containment Breach", pulling the pocket dimension into the real world. Dark fog would fill the foundation as corrosion would spread and cover every surface, spreading like a disease from 106s portal. 106 would then start to use his newfound abilities that he is able to use in his pocket dimension, in the real world, killing his victims one by one. ET and staff would help, acting as 106s new abilities, assisting 106 by spawning anything needed in whatever scenario. 106 could also be given a tool gun to use as his unlocked abilities. (Scenario EX: 106 could create zombies to assist him in battle. ET and staff would have to give people zombie claws, model them as zombies, and texture them dark and corroded like 106.) At this point, the femur breaker is inevitably useless, as 106 is now out for blood. The only means of recontainment is through termination. 106 is indeed immortal, but using [REDACTED] weaponry, termination is possible. 106 would be given a massive buff in HP as the foundation must begin the procedure of terminating SCP-106 before the corrosion spreads throughout the entire facility. If 106 is unable to be recontained before it's too late, a code NUKE is necessary, as this could be an end of the world scenario. Code Ragnarok may also be used as a last resort so CI may assist.

My prior experience is what convinced me to finally apply for staff. I have a bit more time on the server now after considering this application for a while, but after some support, I've finally decided to apply. I used to love staffing. It was a good hobby of mine. I used to be a Super Admin and Developer for an SCP RP server a while back, known as "Ascension Networks". I used to script and code SWEPs for them. Whatever they needed, I provided. (Just a cool little fact to throw out there, but the SWEP for SCP 999 in the server, the Cure Medkit is actually mine. I made that ) During my experience, I met dozens of amazing people. Those nostalgic memories will always stay with me. I took a big break from GMod after Ascension died down. Life moved on, people got busy, and the server died down. Now it sadly doesn't exist. As of now, I've decided to search for a new server, and find another purpose on GMod as i really want to get back into staffing in such an incredible and lively community. During my experience in Gaminglight so far, just like the old times, I've met such amazing people, and i've already made such great memories to look back to. Being a part of staff would be a great honor, being surrounded by such great people. What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) I started playing on this specific server early January. I used to play on gaminglight a little bit years ago in my late staff years when the server started to die down around the year of 2020. What date did you make your forums account? February 13th How many warnings do you have on all GL servers? None What is your donor rank? (User, Silver, Gold, etc) Platinum Are you a staff member in another community? No Have you read the staff handbook? Of course Timezone: EST (New York) What rank are you applying for? Trial Mod Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) As I stated in the first question, I used to staff and develop in another server a while back. Due to this, i have an insane amount of experience with staffing and developing as it used to be such a massive passion of mine. I have a very nurturing and helping personality. I love helping others, and due to the immense amount of time i used to staff for, Even from the very beginning of my staffing journey, I've possessed really good communication skills and I know how to handle any scenario thrown at me efficiently, and effectively, which I personally believe is a must if you're looking to be a part of absolutely any staff team. Moving forward in this staffing journey, as I grew with the Ascension community, those skills have only improved tenfold that it has become like muscle memory at this point. I have experience with everything having to do with ULX, Sits, Scripting, Implementing new add-ons to the server, Logging, PKs, and much more. You name it. I have absolutely everything having to do with SCP RP and SCP Lore in general burned into my brain as well. My 4000+ hours are all gained from my staffing experience. I was with the Ascension community for a good 2 and a half to 3 years. I was a very dedicated member of the staff and dev team. Expanding on this, I have a lot of dedication. When people look at a community, they just look at it as another server. When I look at this community, I see family. During all of my SCP RP staffing experience, i grew so close with so many people and got to learn so much about them. When you are with a community for this long, it becomes personal to you, emotional if you will. As you can imagine, when Ascension died, and everyone went their separate ways, that detication and passion then had nowhere to go, that is why i'm now looking for a new community to give that very dedication, passion, and love to. When you get to know so many people like that, and when you've been doing this for so long, you grow so attached. Because of this, moving back to the dedication, I would get on every single day. I wouldn't miss a day, and if i would, it would be known. When i dedicate my time to a community, i REALLY dedicate my time to it. It almost becomes routine. You'll never see inactivity from me. Even now, not being a part of staff, I'm on every day. One thing you won't see from me as well are strikes and warns. I feel as if it is so unbelievably unnecessary to do things that would result in a warn or strike. I was never a minge or troll. I simply cannot understand it. During my ENTIRE general GMod experience, in any server, i have never received a strike or warn. I take RP, and ESPECIALLY staffing, so seriously. Scenario questions: Select any two of the following four questions to answer for this section. Please note, in the scenario questions we are not expecting perfect answers. We are accessing your critical thinking skills, your ability to use the staff handbook, and come to reasonable conclusions. I would like to answer every question if that's okay I really like scenario questions like these, as i have seen it all. Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? This is very simple. I have had this happen to me dozens and dozens of times. Simply gag them, freeze them in any spot, and say anything you need to say. If you wish to separate the two, you can even have the RDMer/minger/troller put in a separate corner. This also benefits the sit on your side because each player cannot hear what each other has to say, avoiding any arguments, or false accusations. Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation? This situation is a bit more complicated, although it has happened to me before. There was a 6 player sit i had to take, involving a mass RDM. To get this situated, I would use a technique i learned back in my old staffing days. First separate every player and freeze them in a spot where nobody can hear each other. As you speak to each player, at the same time, this method would kind of act as a "cool down" for every player, similar to the jail system. As I'm speaking to one player, the others would have time to cool off, and get their stories and evidence straight before i speak to them. As you speak to each player, try and drain as much information, and evidence as you can from them, whilst maintaining a very calm, collected, professional, and respectful manor, to further increase the chance of de-escalating the situation, and improving the mood of each person involved. Q3: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? Usually players like these are heavy mingers, trollers and have NITRP. Due to this, their punishment would unfortunately, and inevitably result in a ban. If the person seems like they are actually able to be communicated with, maintain a very calm, collected, professional. and respectful attitude and manor as i stated before. This attitude is always the way to behave when in a sit as it increases the chance of the person becoming compliant, and understanding. Throughout all of this, communicate with this person in an empathically and understanding, yet stern tone. Tone is everything. You could say something in one tone, and completely screw everything up, and say the same thing in another tone, and save your sit. Q4: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this? The best way to handle this situation, is to ask any witnesses if there is any, to provide you with any evidence they have such as clips, photos, or videos. This would rule out any lies, and you can decide your punishment right after. If no evidence but someone's word is available, using another method I've learned, you can still have a chance to get exactly what you need. First, bring any witnesses involved. Say there are 3, excluding the bug abuser. Separate every witness including the bug abuser. Having people together creates many many problems, such as false accusations, and arguments. First, talk to each witness. Listen to the first witnesses story from beginning to end, with as much detail as you can get from them. Look out for any verbal tones and signs hinting at lying as these are usually easy to point out. If they aren't and this person IS lying, but you don't know it, don't panic. You still have 3 other people to talk to. Next, speak to the next witness. As you speak to each one, each story should match up perfectly and the person is most likely guilty. If most, or all of the witnesses story is different, the person being accused is most likely innocent. Adding onto all of this, your logs are very important as they provide you with EVERY little thing a player does to further help you with your investigation. You can always spectate the person yourself and see if they are abusing the bug. If the person being accused of abusing this bug is guilty, firstly, try and issue a warning and not a ban (as offenses such as mass RDM is far worse) whilst speaking to this person about what they did is bad, and why it is bad. Sometimes, these people don't even realize they are doing something wrong. Simply inform them. Depending on the persons tone, and how respectful and understanding they are, choose the severity of your punishment. At times, minges are going to be minges, and you are going to get a person that is extremely disrespectful and uncompliant, and more severe punishments may be administered.
  7. Name - Snaxx Steam ID - STEAM_0:1:184616928 Discord Name - Snaxx#2999 Rank and branch (Nu7, E11, CI, Security) - PVT in Security List any punishments you have been given (warns, bans, Strikes, etc) - None (this includes in all of my SCPRP experience) Why do you want to join Delta-5? Delta-5 Is a much more active branch. Being GenSec gets boring after a while, especially when you're sitting in D Block as a PVT guarding Class D for hours. I wanna rank up, I wanna contribute and reach the top, give it my all. Why should we let you into Delta-5? (50+ words) Continuing from the last question, I used to Co-Own a big SCPRP server for years a while back. I developed (actually coded and scripted my own scripts to make custom SWEPs for them) for them and was O5 in many branches. I have years of raw, veteran SCPRP experience. This most definitely includes combat and military experience. I will be out there, showing that experience with everything I have to reach where I was for years in this server, hopefully. Being in the low ranks for me is unbelievably boring considering the years of work I've done. It's like putting a 30+ year Marine back in Boot camp. You will expect lots of activity and performance from me. Do you promise to uphold any and all community, server, and SOP rules and RP values? Absolutely. If accepted be sure to contact an FTO or command in-game or on discord for training!
