  1. Hey guys, haven't played in a while and have just recently returned to ImperialRP. I have joined Shock Security and have been having a lot of fun enforcing laws and getting to know everybody. I do have a question for all of you because I am curious to get more insight on the other regiments aboard the ISD. What incentive(s) makes the regiment you are apart of engaging and keeps you coming back for more?
  2. + Support • Does good in a position of command. • Very active. • Overall a good guy, I trust this man with holding a command position. • It is time for RX6 to continue up the ranks in DT.
  3. + Support • Passionate for DT and will strive to any lengths to ensure it's success. • Very active. • The two comments above are very valid points, however I believe he deserves a chance at TI, if he fails he will be terminated, if he succeeds he will achieve greatness. Allow his skill and adaptability be the deciding factor to whether he keeps or loses L21. Good luck Snail.
  4. POV: You look to your left at the DT as he "deals with" the unsuspecting Stormtrooper who wasn't looking at the previous 3 advert warns.
  5. What is your in game rank and name: Crewman Hunter What is your STEAM ID? STEAM_0:0:743002098 How long have you been in Naval I joined Naval on the 31st of 2022. Why do you wish to become a Junior Officer: [Why I want to be an NCO] - I want to be an NCO (PO2) to continue my career within the Imperial Navy. Throughout my time on the ISD Consilio I realized that the Navy is the best out of all Imperial branches. Much so that I made it my primary life which is DT ZX5, and my secondary life Crewman Hunter. Another reason I want to be a PO2 is to assist Crewman with daily operations and to teach them the handbook and our role during operations and events. Overall, I want to take the next step and become a leader and assist in the management of enlisted personnel. [Qualities that I have that make me a good candidate] - I pay attention to detail. I am hungry to learn. I am by the book, and will enforce all Naval rules and regulations. I am an adaptable person, the Imperial Navy is a very large organization. As the handbook changes in the future, I will be sure to teach newly added or removed material to ensure the Enlisted crewmen are in-check and up-to-date. I am a dedicated Naval Crewman, and I will do what it takes to ensure the Empire's success. I am knowledgeable of the Handbook and will be ready to teach it. I will make doing tryouts my top priority and conducting trainings as my second priority. I am very good at communicating, I will ensure that there is no communication error between the NCO team and the Officer team. Communication is key, and I will lead the charge when it comes to it. [Activity] I am a very busy person IRL, there are some days I will be on for a couple hours and others I will not be on at all. If my activity disallows me to be on for more then 3 days I will make a global ROA or LOA and keep everyone in the loop. Like I said, I will communicate. What are the duties of a Junior Officer? The duties of a Junior Officer are as follows. Understand most things of the Imperial Navy and guide Crewmen with that knowledge. Assist superiors in the management of enlisted personnel. Host tryouts. Conduct trainings. Be a leader during Naval operations and take charge if you are the highest rank aboard. Issuing sector assignments to Naval Enlisted to ensure the order of the ISD Consilio. Conduct station rotations every 15 minutes. Patrol, supervise, report. Continue to be a role-model. Engage and encourage passive-roleplay. How will you assist the battalion as a Junior Officer? [Tryouts] - I will be making Naval tryouts the top of my priority, I will doing one TWICE every time I am aboard the ISD Consilio. I will not go easy and I will follow the tryout document to the T. I will be a consistent member of the NCO team. [Trainings] - I will be doing trainings consistently. I will be doing "Knowledge checks", quizzing the enlisted crewmen of their knowledge of the handbook and encouraging them to study more. I will also be doing battle simulations as well as other trainings to sharpen the Imperial Navy. [Encouraging Passive-RP] - I will encourage passive-RP through actually doing it myself and allowing people to join me. [Consistent Sector Assignments] - Throughout my time aboard the ISD Consilio, there has been a lack of sector assignments overall. I will change that by being more consistent with assigning personnel to sectors and rotating within 15 minute intervals. [Management of Enlisted] - As stated previously, I will communicate to the best of my ability and assist the senior NCO team as well as the Officer corps with the management of Enlisted personnel.
  6. In-game name: Hunter (RP name) Hunter380 (Gaminglight community name) SteamID: STEAM_0:0:743002098 Current RP rank on StarWarsRP: Death Trooper Specialist ZX5 (Primary) Navy Crewman Apprentice Hunter (Secondary) Royal Guard Cadet I Hunter Have you donated to the server?: Yes. Have you been banned on any GL server before?: No. Have you received any warnings (please give reasons if applicable)?: No. How much time do you have on the server?: 2 days playtime, joined December 19th 2022. How well do you know the LORE? Explain: I grew up playing GMOD on Star Wars servers, as well as watching the movies and some TV shows. I understand what Star Wars is and general lore. I am going to be honest, I don't recall everything and know everything about star wars but I understand a lot of the lore. Why do you WANT to become a Gamemaster?: I want to be a Gamemaster because I want to set the bar to the next level by providing carefully crafted full storylines and to assist in the servers mission to create a unique roleplay experience. I love this server and I became a staff member and I feel that the next step for me in helping the community is to also become a GM. Why should you be trusted to be a Game Master?: I am a member of the staff team. I enjoy the community and I don't plan on leaving for a while. I have previous GM experience on another server and I want to show my skills. I am hungry to learn and I won't let down the GM team, staff team, and most importantly the GL community. Are you familiar/experiences with ULX?: Yes. Are you experienced with being a Game Master and how they function?: I was an EP (Event Planner) for Prominent Gaming from 2016-2017, it has been a long time but after I get the hang of it again I will provide the server with great events. Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event: I am currently writing a storyline for GL to do as a GM if I get accepted. For the purpose of this application I will write out the general description of the first two episodes of the storyline. [On-Ship Event] Title: (Not-released yet) Storyline Episode: Episode 1 Event Description: The ISD Consilio receives an ISD in-distress signal from a nearby sector, the ISD Justice. The decision is made that we are to respond to this signal, we attempt to make contact with the ISD Justice, in which we are successful. The holotable presents with an unidentified Imperial Officer. He introduces himself as Navy Captain Philips, as he is giving the report of the current state of the ISD, he is sliced down by an unidentified force user. With this in mind, the Inquisitorious and Purge are informed of the situation regarding the force user and the ISD arrives to the coordinates, what the navy personnel observe next is frightening... [Off-Ship Event] Title: (Not-released yet) Storyline Episode: Episode 2 Event Description: After the Navy and ISB have learned of [NOT-RELEASED YET] the ISD Consilio has been tasked with eliminating this very dangerous threat to the Empire. After the Navy and ISB intelligently solve the [NOT-RELEASED YET]. Coordinates are found of a [NOT-RELEASED YET]. Navy plot a course and begin to scan the surface of the planet of where the coordinates are located and find [NOT-RELEASED YET]. After ISB and Navy retrieve the information surrounding this place, all Commanders are called upon to the meeting room to discuss and formulate a plan of attack. After a plan has been made the troopers are briefed on the situation, the plan of attack, and battalion specific objectives. Troopers are then ordered to the armory to prepare themselves with equipment for the long battle ahead. Do you know how to give a weapon/SWEP to yourself/someone? (Give an example): !give ^ "weapon/path" !give Player(s) "weapon/path" Do you know how to model yourself/someone? (Give an example): !model ^ "model/path" !model Player(s) "model/path" Have you read the Gamemaster Guidelines?: Yes.
  7. + Support I've seen Frosty around but I really got to meet him yesterday while he was training me for staff. Frosty is a person who put's great effort in teaching others and is the first face you will see if you need help or have any questions. You would be doing the Stormtrooper Corps a disservice by not having Frosty as the Commander. Best of luck
  8. + Support - Great application - Experience in leadership - Understands how RG operates and understands the role of an officer for RG.
  9. + Support - No performance impacts for server. (0.004 MB) - Quicker access to event after respawning. - Simple to use and operate. - Try not to use them if SF is online so it doesn't take away from roleplay. Great suggestion, good luck.
  10. In-Game name: ZX5 SteamID: STEAM_0:0:743002098 Rank: SPC. How long have you been in your current rank?: 2 hours, I was promoted today by SCO1 at approximately 1645 hours (4:45 pm EST). What experiences in leadership do you have?: IRL experiences: I can explain upon request from DT Commander or DT VCMDRs. (I keep my IRL life private). High Command: General Shepard (Undead Servers ImperialRP: 2021-2022) High Command: JVS Dark Council member (Reborn Servers JVS: 2018) High Command: JVS Emperor's Wrath (Reborn Servers JVS: 2019) Command: Republic Commandos Officer (Andromeda Networks CWRP: 2017) Senior NCO: Republic Commando 1SGT (Prominent Gaming CWRP: 2016) Staff Experiences: I have experience as staff on a couple servers. Why do you want to be a non-commissioned officer?(100+ Word minimum) I want to become a DT NCO so I can advance in my Death Trooper career and be a role-model for enlisted DTs. I will utilize my knowledge of the battalion and guide enlisted Death Troopers during operations and regular DT procedures. I will meet the requirements to start doing tryouts and ensure the growth of the battalion with CAPABLE DT candidates. I will ensure that not only myself, but all enlisted DTs are up to the standards set for the battalion. I will have good communication skills between DT Officers and myself to effectively manage enlisted DTs. I have learned to love this battalion and I want to do everything in my power to keep it on the right track and do my part as an NCO to ensure that the battalion succeeds. What makes you stand out amongst the others?(110+Word minimum) What makes me stand out - What makes me stand out from other NCO candidates is my leadership experiences and my ability to adapt to an ever-changing battalion. DT is a special forces battalion, thus there will always be changes made for the improvement of the battalion. I will ensure that myself and the enlisted under me will recognize these changes and understand them. I will provide the battalion with effective communication skills, I will work hand-in-hand with superior DT officers to ensure the effective management of enlisted personnel and always provide clear, concise, and effective mentorship to those below me. Death Trooper Recruitment - Selections are a very important process for the DT battalion as it is our way of evaluating candidates and deciding who is special forces capable or not. As an NCO I will make sure that every candidate is thoroughly tested and examined. Selections will be performed by myself whenever I am on, AT LEAST two times throughout my session for the day. Enlisted DTs will also be encouraged to participate in the tryout so they can learn how the process works from an instructor's aspect. Roleplay will be in-depth and serious throughout the selection process, always. Special Operations Battalion Training (SOBT) - Training, especially in a special forces battalion is mandatory for success. Special Operations Battalion Training or SOBT for short will be training sessions that I will try and host once every session that I am online. SOBTs will be thorough trainings to provide enlisted DTs to make the transfer from average, to special forces ready. Below is a list off the top of my head of the types of SOBTS that I will host. Muzzle Discipline - A squad of Death Troopers will clear buildings while being examined/graded by instructor ZX5. Throughout the evolution, Death Troopers MUST show satisfactory performance in... clearing rooms while in formation, preventing crossfire, combat trigger discipline, calling contacts/friendlies, battle comms, and more. VIP Extraction - A squad of Death Troopers will be extracting the VIP from a hostile environment. After retrieving the hostage, they will have to move to an LZ but on the way there will be unidentified hitmen stalking and attempting to assassinate the VIP. Instructor ZX5 will be evaluating the DT for satisfactory performance in... Strategy, combat trigger discipline, battle comms, VIP security, and more. Lone Survivor - One DT will perform this at a time. The entire DT squad has been wiped out with the exception of a single DT and the VIP. Against all odds the single DT will reclaim a contested area of hostiles and secure the VIP for extraction. Instructor ZX5 will be evaluating the DT for satisfactory performance in... strategy, combat skill, communication ability, VIP security, and more. Scrambled - A squad of Death Troopers were split up due to a very large hostile reaction force, the Death Troopers will have to defeat all enemies, whilst attempting to re-group and secure the VIP that has been lost. Instructor ZX5 will be evaluating the DT for satisfactory performance in... Combat skill, communication ability, strategy, combat trigger discipline, VIP security, and more. Conclusion - Thank you for the opportunity to apply for DT NCO. No matter the outcome of this application, I will always strive for perfection. Do you understand that if you fail to meet the expectations of an NCO you can be removed from your position? Understood.
  11. What do you want to see?: A “Naval Reports” section under the “Serious Role Play Forum” category of the ImperialRP forum. Why should we add it?: The “Naval Reports” category would be an OPTIONAL section for Navy to write reports on various navy operations to influence RP. Examples provided below. After Action Reports Engineer repair request (in-case there are no engineers on, post to request them at a later time so they don’t lose out on rp) Duty logs (everything you did throughout your naval shift aboard) Anything you want! These are some examples, but this is overall to influence the RP for Navy. What are the advantages of having this?: When an officer says “have a report of this on my desk” it will actually mean something now. Heavy RP influence Documenting requests for engineers, specialties, or battalion assistance/trainings to influence cross-battalion RP no matter the rank. A great idea for those who want to better the navy experience. Who is it mainly for?: Navy and all sub-divisions of Navy. Links to any content: N/A
  12. What is your in-game name?: DT PVT ZX5 Royal Guard CDT I Hunter What is your steam name?: Hunter380 What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:743002098 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) Yes, I have previous experience with staffing. I moderated for Reborn JVS as well as Imperium Gaming JVS. I understand the ULX system thoroughly and understand the principles of staffing for a GMOD server. What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) December 19th, 2022 What date did you make your forums account? December 19th, 2022 Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank)? User How many warns do you have on the server? 0 Have you donated? Yes What rank are you applying for? Trial-Moderator Have you read the staff guidelines at You will be tested on it: Yes, understood. Timezone: EST Permission (Admin+ need this): N/A Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (Can be any length): I don’t believe that I “deserve” the rank. Being apart of a staff team isn’t something that is deserved but rather earned. When I began playing this server I met great people and after reaching the requirements to apply for Trial-Moderator I realized that I wanted to be apart of the staff team and protect the role play environment as well as protecting the player-base. Allow me the privilege of joining the staff team and I will earn my place by always having integrity, being honest, patient, and always paying attention to detail. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: As per the staff handbook I would initiate the staff sit by ensuring I am on the Administration job, cloaked, and god-moded. I would then !bring the player in question and introduce myself as a member of the staff team. I would then review his/her warnings to see if there is a pattern of this behavior. I would do my best to de-escalate the situation if they are cursing at me, but I don’t take it personally and won’t let it affect my tone or my investigation. After reviewing the entire situation I would render a punishment using the staff handbook AFTER I explain to them what exactly they did wrong, why it isn’t allowed, and recommend they review the MOTD.
