-support apps are really expensive (least from what I've heard, someone fact check me) and honestly id rather have those resources going elsewhere, not to mention just using chrome on a phone is fairly usable when reading on the site.

+support I dont see the issue with him leaving the dispute blank. I mean, I assume he acknowledges what he did, so I can understand the confusion about what to dispute about when one is just asking for a second oppertunity.

+/- as Fitz stated, however as others have said, this should be a warn appeal not a staff report. Just because a warn may be invalid, does not automatically assume staff malpractice. As for the validity of the warn itself.... idk, some say swat never had a chance to engage, but then again your wanted, in plain view with snipers. I dont see why there is a difference in shooting someone, or waiting 10 seconds for them to get out just to get into the same gunfight. As for the claims that staff ignored your clips and your attempted explanation of the situation, there is no video proof (as of yet) and so I can only chock it up to he said she said.

-support First of all, this feels more like a dept issue rather than a staff issue (unless we also use forums now for internal matters?) Now with that out of the way. With regards to you claiming he "edited" videos, I highly doubt that. From comparing both clips it seems like inactive was simply too far away with regards to voice proximity to properly detect Will (who from my understanding was the one who initially called the code) and you were repeating after him. That being said if this was the case, you could've simply brought up your clip to Kevin or other LC during discussion at the time. And it still doesn't excuse the litany of other claims that have been made against you, whether it be your DNP, actions, handling of situations and behavior. All these clips seem to have been taken in close proximity to each other, if so why didnt you bring any of your concerns up with LC who were in the server at the time? This feels like a publicity stunt, you can disagree with inactive personally if you want, but he's been here a long time and knows his way around. I'd be willing to take a chance on his judgement if things ever hit the fan. He's doing what I would hope every enlisted or supervisor does when confronted with improper actions whether in this dept or gov in general to help ensure a proper server experience for our community.

He gave you a verbal for the fail base, who cares, your family member removed the doors, just carry on with the rp. As for the name issue if your not erp-ing, harassing people, minging, or other rule breaking stuff, I couldn't care less what your name is. If the player had the forethought that "dick" was an inappropriate word, then I would hope to guess they also have the capacity to be explained what this server is, who its for, and that not all of the internet is a happy clean place, that's their (well their parents) problem. By this logic we might as well outlaw any type of profaned or derogatory word in the server (I mean I hear "fuck" or "bitch" a lot more than "dick" in prp) whenever someone underage enters the server. Im sure Yobo had good intentions with the kid, but this isnt what we should be concerned about. A staff report for something small like this isnt what reports are for, if you disagreed with Yobo, asking for a superior staff for a second opinion, or maybe dming another staffer with the question probably would've been better.

+/- support Some of your ideas are great, others im a little confused on or dont feel entirely necessary -Armor changes: I understand the reasoning of this, but at the same time I personally dont mind the 100/100 setup, we are a police department, not a paramilitary force, not every situation can be a gov win and we should recognize that. I do understand the issues about items such as ethereal or terminator, but then again these are specialty weapons, and its not the sole determining factor of a fight. -Weapon changes/donator weapons: YES, I dont mind this at all, if someone paid or earned a gun for their account, let them use it, my only recommendation is to limit this to those members somewhat experienced, such as snr or lcpl+ -Overhaul of the Heavy/Light Tac unit: You say you want change, but at the same time are vague on what exactly that would entail, only saying you want something to fill the void of PPO. Im confused by the comparison here and if you can explain it to me that be great. From my understanding (given it didnt exist for very long, most of it was classified, and the logs of convos and basic information was lost in the old discord im trying to recall my memory please correct me) PPO was essentially a high level security detail, not a traditional patrol unit or tac dept. More of a reactive unit similar to ss, if we need PPO back, why not just bring it back. For me the purpose of assistant tac is a reward for longer term members like other level jobs and I think its current purpose suits it well, but if you have any specific recommendations do share. -Increase in salary/Require some boundary before achieving the SNR rank: If this can be done in a way that ensures balance (economy) and doesnt overall disrupt the traditional pd experience and progression, im all for it -Rule changing to prevent muggings from happening when gov outnumbers crim in a vehicle: For me the current system is fine, your reasoning of "its a semi armored vehicle" seems very game breaking, if thats the case, why does it matter if its one, two, three or more cops in a car, it doesnt, and would nullify any mugging to cops by just being in a car to prevent a mug. Not to mention mugging a car is already hard given that (correct me if im wrong) fear rp can only be applied if the vehicle is stationary in the first place. However I do agree with a possible compromise, being that if in a vehicle, comms will still remain active no matter what, since officers have easy access to panic buttons/radio at the push of a button (fearrp and mugs will still have to be carried out, but carry the risk of a quick response) once the officer steps out this ability is removed so an officer must have quick response to a mug while in the vehicle. Overall, you present some interesting points, yes there are quirks to work out, but I think this is the first key step in improving the server for everyone, and im hopeful for the ideas of others and discussions within this and future threads. -Edit- as brought to mind by Burner and Kevlar below (you learn something new everyday, thanks guys) there is a argument towards copbait, and the reason of having the gun out, however again that can only be truely known by Price, if anyone can reach him, I still vote neutral on this +/- support.... mainly cause I feel like this is a gray area, but I dont feel like a warn is valid here from my understanding so lets start towards the end of the clip as you enter the downtown area, Price is seen in front of you walking from the spawn area towards bank in the road, with his minigun already out this is a class 3 weapon, if not class 4 (lmg), this is an arrestable offense with jail time ranging from 5 to 8 years (the game maximum according to PD guide) even if he isnt wanted by the game, I would say he is nevertheless de-facto wanted by you (and thus gov) for illegal weapon possession. You then gunned your engine, pulled up right next to him, by which point he started shooting you as you got out. I'm confused by the nature in which you thought it was a good idea to drive in so aggressively, alone, against a heavily armed level class, with no regard to personal safety, either by creating some type of distance, or barrier say with your car to give commands, or properly engage if later needed. This more something I would've expected from tac. Given the clear weapon offense, the way you approached, and that this was a 1v1 with weapons (meaning no fearrp either) I would say Price's life WAS threated by you and this probably would've turned into a gun fight anyway.

+/- support Normally for bad jokes gone wrong, and given enough time period between the ban and the appeal, sure, id be more than willing to support, especially since from my understanding all you posted was a fake site name, not a url persay (unless im wrong) However in your appeal it looks like you are taking zero responsibility for your actions on a "bad joke", scape-goating the issue, and blaming people who "can't tell what a joke is" and honestly makes me question your ability to act maturely and professionally in our community This was what I feel like could have been a relatively simple appeal, just wait a bit, appeal, apologize for what and why you did it, and done, but thats not what happened and that leaves me with doubt.
