What would you like to see: Room additions in the medbay (more specifically a surgery room and a room dedicated to tests/ testing machines) How would it help the server and/or the player base: This would help medical with surgery RP, redacted RP, and RP in general, trying to do redacted RP with the new update is hard because there is no place to bring redacted players and have it private and perform a checkup or surgery, with the old map we would use the surgery room for this but we no longer have one . As for the testing room this would help with keeping things organized we would have a central place for that form of RP to happen, the new rooms are GREAT for for keeping things organized as they separate people but they leave little space for machines that are needed for RP, so instead of going to a sink at the front of medbay to get a new lung you could go to a dedicated place that would look more professional and that would help the RP and this would help the visual appeal to the medbay. Do you think this suggestion will help the server as a whole: I do think that this would help the server because lots of people are redacted not having a separate part of medbay to make the checkup easy would make that hard, if you had to place the whole medbay on lockdown and if someone walked in on accident they would half to be killed and this long procedure would deter people from that aspect of RP and as a result of that medical RP would lose and big chunk of RP. And then the standpoint of surgery RP has been lowered with having a very underdeveloped surgery room that would and has become very cramped during surgery the the previous surgery room was bigger and at times would become very cramped. Both of these parts brought up are server wide with some events evolving surgery RP or I could just be a DT walking in and wanting a checkup or a person that was injured and needs surgery. After a few days and using the new madbay I have found it very hard to do redacted surgery and or checkups as we have no place to put redacted people we would need to kick out all of the lower clearance level people so they don't get killed. And even after kicking people out to the front of medbay they have a window where they can just look in and see that person and that could lower a battalions secrecy factor. What is your IGN? MC VCMDR TheCatBob 1243 What Regiment are you applying for? Medical Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I want to be commander so I can further the battalion from a quality standpoint. The battalion has made great strides in the right direction but we can still do a lot more and I want to do more to help the battalion and allow the troops to have the best experience possible. I would also like to be a commander because it's seen as a leader and a role model as a vice commander, we are somewhat seen as this but as commander you have an opportunity to set a responsible and respectable image. Then there is the housekeeping standpoint with LOA's, ROA's and disciplinary. I am always happy to do this because it helps keep the battalion organized and professional, then last to try and get activity up the activity of the battalion has its ups and downs and I want it to be at a constant up the currant command team is trying to do this now but as commander I feel that it opens more doors/ you are seen as one of the top leaders of that battalion so people approach you with ideas for sim, missions etc. and your more in the “loop” so you could give ideas to better the battalion and the server as a whole. As a commander you are seen as a leader, as the leader you need to make the experience of the battalion the best it can be and to represent your battalion the commander is someone who you can ask questions or seek help or asks proposals of mission, co ops, events, etc. and you are tasked with keeping the troops entertained. Being seen as the leader you are the "spokesperson" of your battalion and being the "spokesperson" allows you to better relationships with other battalions and that is key to keeping the server entertained, any ship without communication will sink so in a way you try to keep the whole server entertained. Why should we trust you to be a commander? I can be trusted because I'm at the highest rank possible for me for the time being. That tells me that I have been trusted with a command possession which I'm grateful for and hope I didn't disappoint. In my time as vice commander I have been in no confrontational mishaps and I only want to see the best for the battalion as I said before. We have lots of things we can change in medical. In other words, we can fix things to better the troops' experience and keep them having fun and stay entertained. I'm going to keep harping the same thing. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) MC ATAL LTCOL TheCatBob 1243. What Regiment are you applying for? Medical Vice Commander. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I Want to become the Medical vice commander because I want the battalion to grow and thrive. I feel as if the medical battalion has been lacking in medical role play and I want to be in a position of power where I can help the Medical battalion become medics. As medics for the most part we are just healing and giving ammo but that's not the fun part of medical role play, I would say most think that surgery is the fun part and the true medical aspect of the battalion. The Current command is trying to get this done now and I share the same aspersions as them in this field to help bring medical role play into medical and I want to have the opportunity to help. Another reason would to better the overall quality of medical, helping with roster, LOA's, documents, and to keep the troops entertained to me the last part is the key part to keep the troop entertained, if the troops are bored why would they get on and play if it's not fun what's keeping you in a battalion that's not fun but this can change (medical is not just not fun). Medical has its ups and downs in activity. I want the medical battalion to have steady activity and to make the battalion fun to do this we NEED to get the medical aspect added into a medical battalion. I would say the purpose of a commander is to lead, improve the quality of the battalion, and to set an example for the troopers and I feel as if I can do all. I can lead. I have experience in leadership seeing how I'm a senior officer (LTCOl) and how I'm the ATAL ( Assault Trooper Assistant Lead) not to hate on any other troops but I've been the only active Assault command and one of the only active senior officers. I hope people don't take this statement the wrong way. I am just trying to show that I have had to lead and I like to do so and I like to think I do it well. Right now I'm not in a position where I can dramatically change the quality of the battalion but I do what I can at the moment I try to host SIM’s and try to do passive RP but the passive RP can be hard because nothing is set in stone on what to do and most don't have a background in real medical care and it makes it tough to do passive RP for all which should be a big part of the battalion. Why should we trust you to be a commander? I can be trusted because I have been entrusted with LTCOL and I was entrusted with ATAL. I am honored that I could be trusted with both titles in medical that tells me that my fellow medical trust me. When I see this question I also think, can we trust you to lead and help medical and to that I say yes as I said before I am a LTCOL so that means that I have led the troopers lots more times than just once or twice. And to help medical as a whole I don't have the power to do that but I would like to have that power to help make medical fun and in hopes to keep people on the server having a good time. My in game name and rank is MC SG RSS CSM TheCatBob 1243 Timezone is EDT SteamID is STEAM_0:0:562610978 I want to become an officer because its the next step for me in medical I'm at the max rank for someone who is not an officer so I want to continue climbing ranks, I see rank as a milestone that should be achieved and I want to continue achieving and having fun on the server. I would say my activity is a 8 or 9 I'm on for hours at a time which might not be a good thing but the game is just fun to play I should be a medical officer because I on all the time so you can rely on me giving medical a good look and being there to represent and led medical if need be. I would say that I can command other troopers well I like to think that other troopers see me as someone they can have lead and ask questions the day in writing this I had 3 different troopers come up to me and ask questions about medical and the discord. I should be accepted because I'm more active than most so you can always have someone lending medical troops if need be and I think that I would lead the troops well. Second I would love to be able to keep climbing ranks as a said earlier I see the different ranks as milestones and I love to achieve, medical from what I've see is growing and I think we need more good troopers to lead and I think I would be just the one to do so.
