These suggestions are fantastic, but Garry's Mod is an old game; the game engine and even computers with modern hardware can only take so much stress. I have an RTX 2080 Super, i7-9700k, 16 GB ram, and a two-terabyte m.2, and I get 30-70 frames when there are 60-100 players online (including the entities they spawn in). When S&Box comes out and if Zeeptin decides to port everything over, then SMT and Zeeptin are more capable of adding all these excellent add-ons while maintaining good server-wide performance.
On the other hand, it would be awesome to add helicopters and other cool addons like boats. However, I wouldn’t like this server to get too in-depth like a FiveM server, and I like the arcade-ish aspect we have (Semi-Serious RP).

What do you want to see? - I would like to see government run speed reduced.
Why should we add it? - It is overpowered.
What are the advantages of having this? - It is overpowered. It's pretty ridiculous how fast government players can strafe left to right, making it very hard to time shots on them.
I thought my default alt walk suggestion would be accepted and fix this, but it wasn’t.
Government players have more armor, better weapons, and better cars in terms of durability for free (not including Delta Force). Criminal players must pay real money ($100) to get the highest amount of armor possible and the best weapons ($120 for four guns). These are also just some fees; it gets more expensive when other things are considered. In contrast, departments pay nothing (not including Delta Force) and earn significantly higher armor & run speed.
The government has many advantages over the average criminal player, making it complicated. Many families and players haven’t survived because they get destroyed by players who pay to have better stats and government who are given it for free.
I don’t think buffing criminal speed would improve this; the government should only have enough speed to catch a criminal on foot. 1.1x speed is enough.
Who is it mainly for? - Everybody

Edit: Reducing the speed would encourage players to get on crim to start a family and grind the speed perks or join a family to get the bonuses.

What do you want to see? - I would like to see this addon added to the server.
Why should we add it? - These are two add-ons that could add more to the neutral side of the server.
What are the advantages of having this? - Players can experience being a sanitation worker or city worker. Players interested in a more relaxing aspect of RP can enjoy the new jobs that SMT would introduce with this addon. The garbage man job could also be released as a new job in the store, so players can donate to enjoy the job and help support the server.

What do you want to see? - I would like to see this addon added to the server.
Why should we add it? - It would provide an exciting gameplay loop and a release for players. The addon is easily configured, so SMT may change how the times work.
What are the advantages of having this? - Players that have the urge to rdm or want just to have fun during the chaos can do so during the purge. The government also has to defend the city against the anarchists excitingly! Also, players may stay online longer to participate in the next purge.

I believe that the government and neutral classes should remain uncorrupt, but everybody else can go berserk. Each purge could be 1-2 hours apart.

What do you want to see? - I would like to see the bitminer system replaced for this new one I found.
Why should we add it? - It would add new roleplay/gameplay for players. Also, a new crim update would be exciting!
What are the advantages of having this? - It would attract players to get on and try the new system. Plus, it is something new and refreshing to keep the server exciting.

As high command in SWAT who gets frags and as someone who plays crim frequently we definitely need some kind of guideline on frags as it does in my opinion ruin fun
I feel limiting the frags would have a better positive impact on criminals giving them a better shot to win robberies.
it’s okay for criminals to win once in awhile. There is no fun with gov always winning.

Why should we add it? - Having the alt walk as a default will add more professionalism and realism to gov and crim.

Everything works the same, but instead of a jog, when you hold down the w key, it is a walk.

When I watched the video, what were you talking about? I was really surprised you can able to do this. So many suggestions are trying to fix the Iron sight on the FAL, if it’s possible on the server tho
Also, I did notice the default Crosshairs is not accurate to the custom crosshair so I have no idea what is going on with that

I use the Simple Third Person custom cross-hair because it shows where the bullets are going. You can always trust the custom cross-hair. I made this suggestion on the PRP suggestions box, and I hope it gets accepted here too.

What are you suggesting? - I would like to see SMT change the code for their gun files. Because when trying to aim down sights with weapons, the iron sights don't align with where the bullets are going. For example:
The cyan-colored crosshair is actually where the bullets are going. It isn't shown, but the iron sights were going left to right also.
How would this change better the server? - Players will be able to trust the iron sights.
Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - No

This line of code in shared.lua needs to be changed to fix this. The weapons we use right now have blowback set to false.

As long as the scripts are optimized; there shouldn’t be any extra lag. It would cause lag like the other entities that players can spawn in.
We already have two ways to make weed; perhaps removing the rest and keeping one would be beneficial.
If you found an add-on that isn’t, would also be great.

I suggested it over a month ago, and it said SMT completed my suggestion, but I have yet to see any changes in the game. How should I go from here?
