I started playing on the community in 2019, and took a brake for a few years and have recently come back for a little over 5 months now. How long have you been a staff member on Gaminglight? 80 Days at the time of me writing this. How often are you online on the forums? I check it about every other day to look at some imperial channels. Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? I believe I am qualified because I have managed to become a member of the JMT along with having been a commander of the stormtroopers for over a month I feel as if I would be able to moderate and aid people on the forums. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision? I feel as if I have good judgement, for example as an assistant head GM I am required to take their actions into account, most recently we had a younger kid in the game masters who was given a chance to prove himself. Unfortunately said person gave out some blacklisted things, and I had to take into account that he might not have known, or had forgotten what he couldn't do. I could give him another chance, or remove him and let him become more mature for the next time he becomes a GM. I chose the second option and removed him, and I am hopeful that he will learn to follow the rules in the future. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers? I would inform them of where and how to post a ban appeal for the appropriate server they were banned on, before warning them to not spam unrelated topics attempting to be unbanned. How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal? I would send a "Forums Diplomat Message" to ensure that everyone stays kind and courteous to one another, and to ensure that only the relevant things be posted under the appeal to allow for the Head admin+ to preform their job easier.

  12. What do you want to see?: I would like to see a system like what is in the GL SCP RP server where you can type /act [message] and it sends your message in a similar way as an advert. I would also like to see the system of their comms added too where for example, if I type /ST [message] it would send a comms message only to the ST battalion, and others who would feasibly have access to stormtrooper communications. Why should we add it?: This would add to the RP of the server, help GMs differentiate actions the players make from normal chat, and prevent people from using meta knowledge on battalion matters. What are the advantages of having this?: This feature provides the valuable capability for different battalions to establish seamless and efficient communication channels among themselves, resulting in a significantly reduced need for extensive typing. Moreover, this functionality serves the vital purpose of enhancing Game Masters' situational awareness, enabling them to readily perceive and keep track of various actions being undertaken, and to not loose track of them. Who is it mainly for?: Everyone.

The removal of the Smoke grenade is needed as it can crash the server and Scouts never use it due to that reason Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Yes, until now scout captain has had the same kit as the rest of the scouts minus the change of their sniper rifle, this will now change their close range backup weapon to a dlt19s which is much more suited to close quarters fighting as a backup weapon much like how medical utilizes it. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Yes I do, this sniper rifle change is balanced from my tests with the snow trooper job it is a decent little upgrade for the NCO level job of the scout trooper while not changing too much from the base scout job. The removal of the Smoke grenade is needed as it can crash the server and Scouts never use it due to that reason Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: The scout's smokegrenade has been a bit of a problem, along with the abuse of it's usage by a number of former members of the scout subbranch, I think it is fair that this just be removed entirely from the job. Job/Class Name: Stormtrooper Magma Trooper Weapon Kit: - Current loadout: rw_sw_t21 | rw_sw_dlt19 | rw_sw_e11 | rw_sw_e11_noscope - Add: rw_sw_shield_imp_rk3 - Remove: rw_sw_t21 | rw_sw_e11_noscope Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): The current loadout has 2 MGs and 2 E11s. It's redundant, it's not needed to have doubled. Magma trooper has a solid amount of health and armor, that with the shield can allow it to be a defender type of unit. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Stormtroopers are a frontline force but they lack a defensive option in their kit, with this however their heavy will be able to utilize a shield to protect their fellow troopers much like the heavy roles in just about every other battalion. Job/Class Name: Storm Commando Weapon Kit: - Current loadout: rw_sw_e11 | rw_sw_tl50 | rw_sw_dlt20a | rw_sw_se14cc - Add: rw_sw_dual_dc17ext | zeus_flashbang | hack_enabler - Remove: rw_sw_se14cc | rw_sw_e11 Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): In the Storm SOP, a part of their optional training is to be able to hack. Therefore Storm needs the ability to spawn in hacking tools, and to go with their breach and clear documents a flashbang would help them in this aspect of their role. Finally storm never used their se14cc, or the E11, and replacing the both of them with the dual dc17 extended would give them some excellent close range capabilities the previous two weapons were meant for. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Yes I do as the storm commando job is supposed to be a spec ops sub battalionand just about every other spec ops battalion has some sort of grenade or other equipment they can throw for an advantage, meanwhile the E11 and SE14c were weapons they don't use so it's a waste to keep them on the job, so having a dedicated close quarters weapon would aid them in their close quarters operations. Job/Class Name: Jump Trooper [T2] Weapon Kit: - Current loadout: rw_sw_dual_e11 | rw_sw_e11 | rw_sw_rps4 - Add: rw_sw_dc15se - Remove: rw_sw_dual_e11 Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): As of now the only use for jumptrooper is the fact that it has a rocket launcher. The Dual E11s simply do not cut it in battle once the unit has depleted all of their rocket ammo. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Yes as it has a decent accuracy and damage which will allow them to continue to be of some use after they run out of rocket ammo, and so they won't be forced to killbind after they run out for more ammunition.

(Can be any length): I believe I deserve the rank of gamemaster because I really enjoy this community and it's members. The one thing I can't stand is when a group of people are having an enjoyable time, and someone joins who has already decided they don't want to rp on the server and instead want to shoot anyone they see. Especially when it is late at night and a majority of the staff members are gone so they run free set on ruining what fun the rest of the server has. I feel if I was made staff I could better learn, and react to these scenarios better and help keep GamingLight as a shining beacon of rp and fun, even around server reset times. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: I would bring them and the reporter and see both sides of their stories, and if they continued to only use profanity, especially to interrupt myself or the other person I would gag them, and if they continued in text form I would mute them as well. Then once I have gone over the evidence and after making my decision, I would make sure to inform the offender of the consequences of their mass RDM, those being a formal warning and a 5 day ban. Then I would issue them a formal warning followed by then requesting a 5 day ban for them in the staff discord, as I am not of the proper rank to ban players so that an admin is able to give them their proper punishment.
  20. +support Baja goes above and beyond for GMing things, almost all of his events are as big as his personality, and there seems like there is always one happening every other hour. If anyone deserves to get the spot it's probably him.
