Timezone: PST

What rank are you applying for? Trial Moderator

Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) I believe that I meet all requirements needed and can do more than those requirements. I am on the server every day for atleast a few hours and am always willing to help other people. I have allot of experience moderating and I can stay calm and professional throughout "intense" moderating situations. I am very rarely affected by bias when moderating so I only look at the logic, facts and decide what punishment I give them based upon the facts presented. I want to help this server in every way I can and my main goal is to make a big positive impact on this server by doing the work. I know exactly what I am required to do and will do all of those things and I will try to do more than that aslong as it benefits the server. I've also had people tell me that I'm good in intense situations by staying calm and collected.

Scenario questions:

Select any two of the following four questions to answer for this section. Please note, in the scenario questions we are not expecting perfect answers. We are accessing your critical thinking skills, your ability to use the staff handbook, and come to reasonable conclusions.

Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?
A1: I'm assuming that there is irrefutable proof that they are mass RDMing. I would request an Admin+ to handle it because I would be giving them a formal warning and a 5 day ban.

Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation?
A2: I would attempt to de-escalate the situation and calm them down. If they don't calm them down, I would have to bruteforce and make them co-operate so that I can give the correct punishment for whatever situation has happened.

Q3: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving?
A3: I would give them the same treatment I would give to anyone else. They shouldn't be punished differently because if they don't care, the punishments will pile up very fast.

Q4: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this?
A4: I would first learn how the bug was done and see how much effort would be needed to execute, if it was low effort and it was possible to do it on accident, I would give them a verbal warning telling them that its a bug and to not do it again. If it needed allot of effort and would most definitely need to be done on purpose, I would give them a formal warning.

After review, the SCP-RP SMT team has decided not to accept you for staff. This can be because of your application, experience, behavior, feedback, or other unstated reasons. You may re-apply in 1 week.
