Your In-game Name: PlayaPhonk

Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:451944273

The admin's name in-game: Nydekore

What warning did you receive: Failrp as 106

When did you receive this warning: 12/3/2021

Please give a description of the situation that led to the warning: So I was self breaching but Dr maynard breached me and when i saw maintenance coming i chased them leading me to 6-7 D4 (One was an Alpha Unit) and this was happening when the server was full so they all shot me with etherals because they all had them and one had a micro HID and causing a lot of lag shooting me causing me to go into a D4 which they assume i teleported inside of them. After this they killed me and was just waiting my nlr to self breach again but got called into a sit with a d4 saying that i failrp'd and the admin warned me.

Why do you think this warn was false: Why I think this warn is false because when you teleport with the swep you can hear a cue sound and even if i did teleport i would of teleported into the wall as I was looking at it not the D4 in the clip by the d4 and in the clip you can clearly see a cut in the clip as that was lag.

Evidence the warning is false: https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/50MKB_peZX6lV/1YfG4i9KqkNE?invite=cr-MSxSV3AsMzI1NzIxOTQs

Will not be leaving a + or - support as I was the one to deliver the warn but I can confirm that the situation occurring prior to him conjoining with the D4 is accurate.

I will leave whether this is SWEP usage or lag to other viewers as my actions have made it quite clear as to what I believe happened.

I have a reasonable doubt as to if he deliberately used to swep, I don't see enough evidence to show he deliberately teleported into the D4. Curves and bumps on gmod can often to lead to wacky situations where people just get stuck for no reason and as people know, lag is quite common at high player counts on this server.

Conclusion: Not enough evidence to show the deliberate misuse of SCP 106 teleport swep but maybe the warning admin can give insight into how he came the conclusion that the player deliberately teleported into the D4.

Edit: After hearing the insight of the admin, my opinion still stands, while he should have stated it was lag at the start, I have a reasonable doubt as to whether he used the teleport swep. The cut was likely from tabbing out for a second tho.

After looking at the clip countless times and testing the 106 swep in game in the same spot, I can conclude that the 106 teleport in the clip would have rather ended up teleporting him behind the d4 rather than 5 inches in front of him. Him getting stuck inside the d4 seems more of a issue with him sliding on the wall and being hit with knockback from the ethereal, therefore the warn is false.

I say skill issue.

My insight is this: 106 wasn’t climbing the side which is the only way he would end up on top of the D4 while stuck other than teleporting. You can also see sudden forward motion before he enters the D4’s body.

Additionally, he didn’t call it lag in the initial sit, he had called another to have me review. Without that as even a consideration he had no real counter argument.

I would also like to point out that he said “there’s a cut,” implying that the video poster deliberately made it look different than it was which I don’t think is possible with Medal, nor do I really believe it

As the one that made the report let me get my side

I was on D4 and we were etherealing SCP-106, the reason I called the FAIL RP sit is because he tried to teleport in the air. Even though he can only teleport threw doors and after he teleported inside of me I said don't take me.

Accepted

To have your warn removed, go to the "Bans" Section at the top of the forums, navigate to your profile, find the warning for this appeal, and for the reason on the appeal, link this post.

From the clip there is not enough evidence to show 106 was purposely abusing the teleport swep and this seems more of a accident. However I would just like to remind @Tresumas to be more careful with the teleport swep next time.
