3. Roster Name?: akrew10

4. Current Rank?: CPT

5. When were you promoted?: March 13

6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 1 year and 1 month

7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes

8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes

9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes

10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+):

I want to become a Senior Command member to take on more responsibilities. There is only so much you can do as Low Command and I’ve done it all. I have hosted many PTs through my time as Low Command and a couple of off-meetings as well. Although I can’t be active during the day due to school, I try to boost night activity a lot with me pinging about the “Night Krew” every night that I am on. This allows me to notice and reward the people that are not usually noticed during peak hours. I promote people who are fit for their next position and am not afraid to remove those who do not care about our branch or about the server in general. I have tried my best to cooperate with other command in Security with a positive attitude and keep that same attitude with the enlisted and NCOs. I help fix common mistakes that people new to the branch may have as well as communicate well with the lower ranks and other people from other branches. This also allows me to improve branch relations as they are not the best currently. I attempt to answer any question they might have to the fullest of my ability and create a bond with everyone in Security. I am also a DHFTO which allows me to help maintain a sub-branch and prove that I am capable of taking more responsibility. With my experience in command, I believe that I am more than ready to further my position in command and fulfill more responsibilities given. I am familiar with Low Command and have not gotten a strike with my time in command. With my commitment to the branch, I want to make progress and attempt to better the Security branch overall.

11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?:

If a Security Officer constantly left D-Block, then I would first ask if they got permission from a SGT+ to leave D-Block. If they did, then I would question the NCO and tell the NCO that they enlisted must need a valid reason to leave d-block like escort, armory, or medbay. But if the Officer didn’t get permission, I would remind them that they need SGT+ permission to leave D-Block and that they should have learned that from their training and this would be a warning. If they left again without permission, then I would remove them and put them on a 5 day DNT.

12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?:

I would bring them aside and ask why they keep leaving D-Block. With their terrible reasons, I would then inform them that they should only leave with a valid reason and shouldn't abuse their power. Reasons, like leading a patrol, going on escorts, going to armory, or being low on health and going to medbay, would suffice. If they leave again without a proper reason, I would strike them.

13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?:

I would inform them that it is against the MOTD to come into D-Block unless certain circumstances are met (which in this case they are most likely not). I would then tell them that they should leave D-Block immediately. If they don’t, I would clip the situation and report them to an E11 Command. If necessary, staff could handle the situation as well as they are breaking the MOTD rules.

14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words:

Well after making sure that they are not on DNP and on the roster, I would bring them to bunks and get into a separate Teamspeak channel with them. I would then give them the NCO guide. After giving them the guide, I would then highlight some important parts in the guide that the NCO must know. They can call hands up and partial on code orange or black, they will have a 3 day trial period, they can give permission for enlisted to leave D-Block, they can assign enlisted to escorts and explain when and who to give to researchers, they can lead patrols, they can now join the FTO program which is heavily encouraged, and they can apply for Warrant Officer. They can also get trained for sniper if they were not trained already. Once I got through that with them, I will then double-check that they have a forums account and if they don’t, I will make them create one. I will then have them request NCO tags. After that, I will inform them that they can fill out NCO-activity logs and recommend enlisted for promotion in those logs. Once that is done, I will have them change their name, whitelist them, and fill out the log.

Honestly I see akrew on more and I genuinely believe he should be given at least 1 shot considering how long he has waited
