Protege
Form Title: [SCP-966 & SCP-049-3] ~ Research (11/20/19) Rank: Senior researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: MTF ██ PI9 Level D personnel involved: SCP: SCP-966 and SCP-049-3B Errors and/or safety hazards: Question: Can SCP-966's ██████ wave affect SCP-049-3B since SCP-049-3 instances do not sleep? Background Research: SCP-966 feed on medium-to-large-sized animals, including humans. They hunt either alone or in pairs. Their hunting methods consist of emitting a single burst of a previously unknown type of wave (dubbed ██████ waves, in honor of the late Doctor ██████), which permanently inhibits the ability of the affected creature to enter any of the NREM and REM sleep stages. The ability to micro-sleep is also lost. The effective range of the ██████ waves is up to 20 meters; however, tests show that they can be blocked by post-transition metals, particularly lead. | SCP-049-3 is a human who was injected with the blood of SCP-049 and became unable to sleep and gained the ability to sense the disease in other humans, and create instances of SCP-049-2 through the same method that SCP-049 uses. Hypothesis: SCP-049-3B will not be affected by SCP-966's ██████ waves. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): SCP-049-3B was sent into the containment cell of SCP-966 and SCP-966 immediately started emitting the ██████ waves multiple times, I asked SCP-049-3B if he felt an different and he replied saying he felt a little different, I asked if he felt like he might collapse from exhaustion and he replied with yes. After SCP-966 started emitting more ██████ waves SCP-049-3B collapsed of exhaustion and SCP-966 began to consume SCP-049-3B. Analysis and Conclusion: SCP-966's ██████ waves are able to cause SCP-049-3 instances to collapse of exhaustion. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: No.
Illager, Director of Memes
Grade: Quality Lore: 20/20 966 acted perfectly according to lore, and 049-3B does not exist in-lore and as such cannot violate the lore. Creativity: 20/20 Normally I would give this a 10/20 since this is just a "How will X SCP act around Y", but you used a very unorthodox SCP, so that bumps this up to a 20. Presentation: 20/20 It reads just like anything the foundation would write, no real problems. Writing: 40/40 See no real problems with the writing, personally. Professional minge, PhD in shitposting.
