Background Research: SCP-966 feed on medium-to-large-sized animals, including humans. They hunt either alone or in pairs. Their hunting methods consist of emitting a single burst of a previously unknown type of wave (dubbed ██████ waves, in honor of the late Doctor ██████), which permanently inhibits the ability of the affected creature to enter any of the NREM and REM sleep stages. The ability to micro-sleep is also lost. The effective range of the ██████ waves is up to 20 meters; however, tests show that they can be blocked by post-transition metals, particularly lead. | SCP-049-3 is a human who was injected with the blood of SCP-049 and became unable to sleep and gained the ability to sense the disease in other humans, and create instances of SCP-049-2 through the same method that SCP-049 uses. Hypothesis: SCP-049-3B will not be affected by SCP-966's ██████ waves. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): SCP-049-3B was sent into the containment cell of SCP-966 and SCP-966 immediately started emitting the ██████ waves multiple times, I asked SCP-049-3B if he felt an different and he replied saying he felt a little different, I asked if he felt like he might collapse from exhaustion and he replied with yes. After SCP-966 started emitting more ██████ waves SCP-049-3B collapsed of exhaustion and SCP-966 began to consume SCP-049-3B. Analysis and Conclusion: SCP-966's ██████ waves are able to cause SCP-049-3 instances to collapse of exhaustion. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: No.

Background Research: After reading through some of my fellow researcher's tests I stumbled upon Sckot’s recent test with SCP-049 relating to a particular instance of SCP-049-2. The subject seemed to regain sentience, and also become rather healthy and buff. In the search for an answer to this strange occurrence, I had decided to conduct some tests of my own. Hypothesis: I was unsure of the outcome, as my original idea was that the instance of SCP-049-3 as I have decided to call it was possibly a gene defect combating the effects of SCP-049’s “Cure”. So the chances of success were slim if my Hypothesis was correct. Observation: After getting SCP-049 into the back of his cell with the help of the 2 [REDACTED] I proceeded to toss D-2963 into SCP-049’s CC. Before SCP-049 “Cured” D-2963 I proceeded to talk to SCP-049 (Recording below.) After speaking with SCP-049 he proceeded to “Cure” D-2863, And against my wishes Severed D-2963’s wrist and reversed it broke several fingers and relocated them the wrong way, and messed his arms up so bad that there resting position was in several directions above his head. D-2963 was turned into SCP-049-2, At first, I was disappointed and almost had the [REDACTED] PFC’s terminate SCP-049-2 but before I got to say anything SCP-049-2 Seemed to start acting strange and from the ghastly color his skin was as SCP-049-2 went back to normal, his normal skin color being white. Now on the subject of arms SCP-049-3 seemed to have full control over his arms even though they were practically broken and horribly mangled, though to note his arms could not reach lower than his shoulders but other than that he could reach above his head with ease. After I finished asking SCP-049-3 questions and examining his horribly disfigured arms. I started one of my other tests, In Sckot’s test after [REDACTED] his instance of SCP-049-3 he estimated 57 bullets were needed to [REDACTED] SCP-049-3 my test was to see how damaging bullets were to SCP-049-3 and to test how many bullets exactly were needed to kill an instance of SCP-049-3 and in the end it took exactly 8 bullets to kill SCP-049-3. Details of damage test below. Damage Test: Neck: 2 5.56 mm NATO chambers fired from an AR15 these Bullets left Severe abrasion and a small amount of bruising on the neck of SCP-049-3, though no other damage was identified. Head: 3 5.56 mm NATO chambers fired from an AR15. These bullets only left Abrasions on the forehead and small 5 hairline fractures across the frontal bone, the longest fracture only reaching his cheekbone. Knee Cap: 1 5.56 mm NATO chambers fired from an AR15. The Knee Cap Broke into two separate pieces though the bullet never passed through the skin (Note SCP-049-3 was able to keep standing after breaking its knee.) Ankle: 1 15.56 mm NATO chambers fired from an AR15, This bullet unable to penetrate the skin still managed to break the Medial cuneiform from the impact Lossening SCP-049-3’s ligements making him have to rely on the wall for balance. Abdomen: 1 7.62×51mm NATO round from an AWP This was the last shot and it went straight through the abdomen ripping up the liver of SCP-049-3,[REDACTED] Instantly Analysis and Conclusion: SCP-049-3 was swiftly [REDACTED] by an AWP to the abdomen and the tied up janitor that had watched the entire test was also soon [REDACTED]. SCP-049-3 was, in fact, resilient and almost bulletproof. Instances of SCP-049-3 should carefully be handled and or immediately [Redacted] on sight. Though if tests are to continue I recommend someone of a higher ranking than mine take care of the testing of SCP-049-3 as I feel like someone as of my rank won't take the proper precautions of dealing with SCP-049-3 the repercussions of SCP-049-3 getting away could be disastrous. Do Results Align with Hypothesis: Yes recreating SCP-049-3 was a success. Though my idea of it possibly being some kind of Gene defect could be wrong. Though tests related to genes should be tested if tests continue.
