Name: Southpaw Current Rank: Senior Researcher Time in Research (Approximate): Almost a month Why should you be research command: I have always found research amazing. Although, I feel like I can do only so much. As command, I could host mass tests, get some of our sub branch activity up, even get rid of the minges. Minges: We all dislike them. I feel that I could help get rid of the mingey trainees and JRs. I have seen trainees get trained and then turn around and teamkill us all in bunks. Sometimes, they don't get punishment at all and I feel as if they should get a strike, demotion, verbal, or even a warn. With people out and about minging kind of bothers of us all. I wish to help get rid of or even just lower the levels of minging around our facility and in our branch. With the minging, it's not just teamkill, it's not following commands orders, not following the SOP, or just screwing around during a serious moment. I believe I could help stop this as command. Mass tests: I love them, but I don't know about everyone else. There is waiting for your test to be done while others are doing theirs, getting killed while going to the test, waiting for everything to start, etc. I think that I could speed up the waiting time for a mass test. I have been apart of a couple mass tests and they took almost 2 hours at a time, with some tests on the SCP taking an hour alone. I hope that I can speed this up so everyone can get back to day-to-day activities and not be bored to death waiting to do a test. I feel we need to advert when we are heading to a mass test, because you might say we do but some don't. Not adverting leads to the unnecessary death of research personnel. I don't want to rush a mass test but sometimes they take too long and get boring really fast. I hope to change this in a way to where everyone is excited for mass tests. Sub Branches: The activity of some sub branches sucks, and it's not just activity on them, it's how they are doing, what they are doing, and sometimes not following their SOP. I think that RIG units are not used as much as they should be. RIG units are used to protect our research personnel and escort them to the places they need to go. I could be wrong but I rarely see RIG units on, and even when they are on, they don't usually help protect researchers or escort them. I also want people to understand the RIG units more. I have seen D-Class complain that RIG units are non combatant and may only attack in self defense, but they are wrong. I want people to see that RIGs are useful and not just a roaming robot with a gun. I know that there are not many sub branches in research and I don't know much about RFA at all, and HMR is it's own thing. What I am trying to explain is, I could help get the RIG units up and running doing a good job. This is just what I can bring to the table (^) here is what's next: What will you do to make research more active and better: I think that we could do a bit more on trainings. When I see a trainee on, they either run outside of bunks or are very confused on what to do. Trainees are ignored for (sometimes) hours without a trainer and I think we should fix this. Another thing about training is that sometimes minges don't show themselves until after training. We should find a way to make sure they are not a minge and give some form of punishment (not like a warn) to those who are. We should have a bit longer of a FTO training because I have seen trainers not know what they are doing at all. We should fix this and give our FTOs a good training that can help the branch itself. Activity is not always the best (and I get people have lives outside of our server) but I think we could have some better rewards for people flagging up. I see stuff in flag up pings like, "I will give away 10k if we get 6 research on." Yes, it's boring and not that much to really compete for. I think that I could change this and change it for a long time. I also feel that we could get sub branch trainings up a bit but that is for people who want to be in the sub branch. I hope that I can change research in a good way.

Name: Jog Hanson Rank: Lead Researcher Time In Research: 3 months Why should you be research command, AKA what can you bring to the table that the rest of command can't? (100-word minimum); I think I should be in research command because low ranks like JR's and AR's Trust and ask me Questions. They will ask me stuff even if there is command on. They will come to me first. I have been asked more then once by JR's and AR's to supervise their test even when there were three command members on. Something I could bring to the table is I'm on the sever a lot so I could be more active than others. I could also bring more people to the table that would enjoy research. I have trained 20 people in one day before and I will continue to do this. In conclusion, this is how I will make research better. What will you do to make research more active and better? (100 word minimum)(Tangible items like activity, expertise or the ability to run trainings, etc)?; What I could do to make research more active is to host mass tests. I know every one In command does mass tests but I want to do about two a week. I have seen how many people get on when someone does a mass test. I will try to do research competitions like who ever makes the best test log they will get about 25,000 in game dollars. I will also make research more active because I will hold two to three mass trainings a week to get some more people into research. I will try to be as active as possible because I know some people get on their Job because command is on. In conclusion, this is how I will make research more active. Thank you for your consideration. -
In case who ever is reading this prefers to read off google docs. https://docs.google.com/document/d/18KlHQ7K-fcjaui9Z7SHS0DoifFe05vJkcbn0CmHA-qg/edit?usp=sharing Name: Jay Current Rank:LR Time in Research (Approximate): My first test log was posted on 18 april however I was in research approximately two to three weeks before this was posted. This was due to the fact I was getting used to research. So the 1st of april or a little before this time. Why should you be research command, AKA what can you bring to the table that the rest of command can't? (100-word minimum);(word count 165) To start I am experienced in command rolls due to me being 1LT in E-11 as the time of writing this. I'm also very reliable. I will help the branch out in any way I can. In E-11 at this moment I am DHFTO and HFTO soon I got this not by being lucky but taking action to further the branch. I promise you I will have this same mentaile as the research command. I'm trustworthy. I will not let you down. I will give research all I can. So I tell you what I'm bringing to the table, I'm bringing guts, witts, experience, and determination. I'm ready to take the challenge of help leading the research team to a brighter future. I'm ready to adapt and overcome any problems that will arise. I will say this I know I need to get more training done and I will. I love the research division and if I'm able to make a difference here I will. What will you do to make research more active and better? (100 word minimum)(Tangible items like activity, expertise or the ability to run trainings, etc)?;(word count 178) To begin I want to grow the research branch. Everyone loves mass tests so I will hold more mass tests every other day if I'm able.Promoting the ones who deserves it is a really good way to keep people to keep coming back. So I would hang back a watch to see who's doing great work and who is the most active promoting these people is something I must do. I will try my best to get to know the new JRs who join. Welcoming the new JRs with open arms will hopefully keep them in research. I will try to find flaws and try to fix these said flaws to the best to my ability. Taking suggestions and relaying them to other research commands is also a good way to boost activity due to everyone feeling their voice is heard. Also I will push for more training. Not just training a new JR but molding him\her into a great research member. I will also supervise lower ranking members' tests helping them and as we go.
