  1. In-game Name: Grape SteamID: STEAM_0:0:102584739 DiscordID: Centman#7369 What division do you want to join (Military or R&D): R&D How would you rank your knowledge of the lore on a scale from 1 to 10? 8 Why should you be in the Chaos Insurgency (75 word minimum)? I used to be a research officer (RS) several months ago but decided to quit. During my time as a Research Supervisor, I occasionally worked with CI R&D during mass tests with them, and I was intrigued by them. I probably would have applied then, but I was burnt out of research. Now I want to try something new. I feel like I can bring a lot to the table from my experience as a Research Supervisor. What is something that sets you apart from other applicants? My former rank as a RS, my understanding of the lore, and my activity. Can you be active at least once every two weeks? Yes Do you have any current/former ranks (Only in Gaminglight SCP-RP)? RS Do you have both Teamspeak and Discord (Required): Yes
  2. Test Idea/Creativity: 23/25 Not too bad for a first test log Format: 25/25 Looked great! Spelling/Grammar: 25/25 I didn't see any spelling or grammar erros Writing: 15/25 Writing was solid however there was no background info section, which is supposed to be a large portion of your doc Bonus points for including medical: 5 Total: 93/100
  3. Test Idea/Creativity: 12/25 From what I can tell, your hypothesis was that "the Jaded Ring has some anomalous effects", which is basically just putting it on someone and seeing what happens. Please actually have a goal for your testing to prove or disprove. Example: How does the Jaded Ring effect those who are lobotomized/those who are missing certain body parts? Try to incorporate at least one other branch (besides escorts) in your future tests. Format: 15/25 Different fonts are used unnecessarily, some paragraphs are written in exclusively bold font, while others have no bold at all. There was a blank empty page which should have been deleted. The "some extra info" section should have been with the background information. You forgot to replace the areas where you would input information with the actual information Example of this: Use "Junior Researcher Pablo " instead of "(RANK + NAME) Junior Researcher Pablo", in the future make sure to delete the bold part and those similar to it, the text in the ()'s are to tell you what information to put in, delete them when you are done Spelling/Grammar: 10/25 A large quantity of serious grammatical/syntax errors, as well as completely incorrect capitalization, there wasn't a single instance of capitalization being used correctly in your largest paragraph. Please read over things before you submit them. Writing: 0/25 Your background research section is too short and 100% plagiarized, please either write your own background or site where you got it from. [https://the-scp.foundation/object/scp-714] Total: 37/100 This was more suited for an activity log. Please understand that all of this is constructive criticism that will hopefully help you write better docs.
  4. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Fr though you were an amazing command and the best TS meeting room entertainer I've ever seen. o7
  5. Test Idea/Creativity: 16/25 Not really that exciting, also lore inaccurate Format: 15/25 Its not bad, not really creative either Grammar: 20/25 some punctuation mistakes Writing: 0/25 Way too short, the background research is missing a lot and hella plagiarized 54/100 Please don't submit docs plagiarized off the wiki
  6. Test Idea/Creativity: 25/25, a creative twist on a well known test Format: 25/25, great looking google doc! Grammar: 25/25, I didn't see any spelling/grammar mistakes Writing: 19/25 strange use of words (for a short period though), and it could have been longer. still, great work! Total: 94/100
  7. +Support Great guy to be around and a great researcher
  8. +Support One of the best researchers in our ranks, working with him has been a pleasure
  9. +Support, you are a great researcher and a great person
  10. Name: Grape SteamID: STEAM_0:0:102584739 Current Rank: SR Time in Research (Estimate): 1 and a half months Why do you believe you should be in Research Command?(100 word requirement): I should be in Research Command because I think that my personal strengths that I have used as a Research Enlisted will do the branch well as a command member. I consider myself dedicated to research, as I am usually on every day. I also consider myself beneficial to the research branch, at the time of writing this I have trained and added 17 people to the research branch this branch in the last 14 days. I train more people than anyone else during most weeks. I would love to contribute to this branch more with the resources of a command member. I also like to collaborate with my fellow researchers, whether it be overseeing a JR’s test and giving them advice, or collaborating with tests with higher ranking enlisted, I find it very enjoyable. What can you bring to the table that others can't? (100 word requirement): I feel like much of the research command are not that active. There are only a handful of command members that are active, and when they are on, some time is spent AFKing in bunks, and most of the time I am the only one in the Teamspeak channel. With only a couple of exceptions, I am on every single day and most of that time is during peak hours. I also have lots of ideas that I can bring to the table. Things like mass tests on SCP’s not on site, incorporating other branches into the tests, and hosting PTs. What would you do to better Research and increase activity? (100 word requirement): I would increase branch activity by hosting more PTs and mass tests and making them more interesting. As stated earlier, I want to incorporate other branches in the mass tests and have more interesting SCPs that are not on site. For example SCP-294, the drink machine would be great to do a mass test on, as it can generate unique drinks which can have cool effects that can be experimented on. I would both do better research and help others conduct better research by conducting these “spicer” mass tests. I also have many ideas for PTs that will encourage better testing. What if I gave a group of researchers a goal, and had them collaborate with other branches to reach that goal (kinda like Jummy’s mass tests), that would inspire better testing by both myself and other researchers.
  11. In-Game Name: Grape Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:102584739 Current Research Rank: Senior Researcher Foundation Test Log(s) (graded 8+/10 only): Your Operations Advisor Overseer, has informed you there is a group of insurgents collecting foundation data at a field operating base on the surface. They are armed and well secured. How would you approach it? (100+ words): My first priority would be to collect as much information about the base and the insurgents in them as possible. I would collect information about the base layout, how long this base has been active, any security weaknesses that can be exploited, if the insurgents belong to any known GOI, as well as any other information that could help us in developing an entrance strategy. All of this information will be acquired by interviewing locals, conducting surveillance of the base with drones or from an elevated point, tailing any vehicles that are seen coming to or from the base, attempting to hack into any security cameras (if they have them), and any other source of information that we can get our hands on. Since the insurgents are heavily armed and secured, all of this information will be needed to decide the perfect time and place to strike. For example, if the insurgents were known to not have possession of thermal or night vision goggles, we would know to stage our attack at night. Once we strike, because of all the careful planning, the insurgents won't stand a chance against our forces. Once the area is secured, the new top priority is to see what information was being collected, where it came from, and where it is going/went. We will also try to collect any information about the insurgents, as well as any of their other bases and operations. There is a strange SCP that calls himself the “targeter”. When the name of another individual is said within earshot of the “targeter” the “targeter” will teleport to the individual that has had their name said, and run off. How would you suggest the foundation approach apprehension and / or termination of this individual? (100+ Words): To first contain the targeter, we need to know how hostile this anomaly is, how hard it is to contain, and how resilient it is, all of this information can be found out relatively quickly. Once we find the targeter we should detain it in a suitable temporary containment cell while a permanent containment cell is under construction. During this period of time, there should be earmuffs applied to the anomaly and temporary soundproofing should be installed. An ideal containment cell for the targeter would be a small cell with intense soundproofing installed. The cell should be located underground with a soundproof chamber leading to the cell. There should be absolutely no PA system connected to or in range of the cell, and all personnel going into the CC to conduct tests must be informed of the anomaly’s properties and told not to utter the names of anyone under any circumstance. There should be cameras that have audio recording capabilities throughout the cell. All phones should be left outside the cell, as well as any other technology connected to the internet that possesses a speaker. Also, if possible, ear muffs should be attached to the anomaly at all times. If the targeter ever breaches containment, a D-class will be brought to the CC and gagged. Once the name of the person the targeter teleported to is discovered, as well as their approximate location, we should dispatch agents to play the name of the D-Class on a megaphone throughout the area. Once the targeter hears this, it will teleport to the D-Class and RC itself. The D-Class should also be either collected from the CC or terminated once the targeter is RCed. An abandoned camp site has been discovered on the surface, hidden incredibly well within the brush. There are documents, newspaper scraps, as well as an old laptop with unknown data being transferred to a suspicious I.P. address. How do you react? (100+ Words): Firstly, the camp should be searched for any remaining possible threats, when none are found and the site is deemed abandoned, we should examine the laptop for clues about its origin, its last user, when it was manufactured, what kind of data is being transmitted, where is it being sent, etc. We should also trace the IP to a location, which can then be investigated by field agents in that area at a later date. The next step should be to sever the laptop’s connection to the internet and take it, along with any other suspicious/useful objects and documents back to the site (everything we take back should be searched for trackers just in case this whole thing was a trap). Once we are in the site, we will have access to many different tools which will let us figure out information about the computer and the campsite. This will hopefully let us learn about what information the laptop has in it.
  12. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1NCFRv-Ba34MzxGkUIXSeJZfFc4ODi2lV49eICD7NWk8/edit?usp=sharing I was R at the time of doing the tests but I'm EXPR now, I spent a while making this, hope it gets a good grade
  13. Lore Name: Grape Rank: AR SCP: 049/330 Question / Idea: If a D-Class takes 2 pieces of candy from 330, is turned into an instance of 049-2, and then takes a third piece of candy, will 330 activate and remove their hands? Background Research: SCP 049 is a humanoid with the appearance of a medieval European plague doctor, he posses the ability to kill any human with a touch of death, as well as operate on living creatures to create them into instances of SCP 049-2, which are zombie like creatures that can take orders from SCP 049, he is obsessed with finding a cure of the "pestilence" a disease which's existence has not been confirmed. SCP 033 is a candy bowl with a sign reading 'take no more than two, please!". When two or less candies are taken from SCP 330, it will act normal. However if more than two candies are taken from SCP 330, the candy thief will have their hands fall off and bleed to death. Hypothesis: If a D-Class takes two candy pieces from SCP 330, gets turned into an instance of SCP 049-2 , and takes a third piece of candy, SCP 330 will activate and kill them. Observations (What Happened During Test): During this test, the D-class first took two pieces of candy and was escorted to 049, who successfully turned the D-Class into an instance of SCP 049-2. This instance of SCP 049-2 was then instructed by SCP 049 to not resist the rest of the test and was escorted to SCP 330. Upon taking a third piece of candy the 049-2 instance's hands fell off and he started to bleed profusely. The hands were Evidence/Visual Stimuli (N/A if unable/none): Instance of 049-2's hands (bottom), SCP 330 (Top, on table) Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): The results show that instances of SCP 049-2 are the same person they used to be in certain aspects. All information is not lost during a conversion. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: My hypothesis was correct.
  14. Lore Name: Grape Rank: Associate Researcher SCP: 513/049 Question / Idea: Will an instance of SCP 049-2 that was exposed to and was effected by SCP 513 before it was turned act different or be different from a normal instance of SCP 049-2 Background Research: SCP 049 is a humanoid with the appearance of a medieval European plague doctor, he posses the ability to kill any human with a touch of death, as well as operate on living creatures to create them into instances of SCP 049-2, which are zombie like creatures that can take orders from SCP 049, he is obsessed with finding a cure of the "pestilence" a disease which's existence has not been confirmed. SCP 513 is a normal looking cow bell, however when a subject hears the sound created by SCP 513, they will experience hallucinations of a ghost like figure and terrible paranoia. Hypothesis: I believe that if an instance of SCP 049-2 was exposed to SCP 513 before being turned and contracted its effects, the instance will behave and have a physicals appearance in line with a normal instance of SCP 049-2. Observations (What Happened During Test): During this experiment, a D-Class prisoner was exposed to SCP 513 by being instructed to ring SCP 513, after which the D-Class was visibly startled and experienced paranoia and stated that he was being watched by a ghost like figure, all symptoms of SCP 513 exposure. After this, the D-Class was taken to SCP 049. SCP 049 was instructed to turn the D-Class into an instance of SCP 049-2 and instruct him to not resist our measurement process and to tell us if something was off. This instance of SCP 049-2 was still visibly paranoid, and SCP 049 confirmed that a normal instance of SCP 049-2 should not act like this. All measurements of this instance were in line with recorded measurements of other instances. After the test was concluded, the instance of SCP 049-2 was incinerated. Evidence/Visual Stimuli (N/A if unable/none): (Pictures of the test) Picture of the instance of SCP 049-2 Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): The results show that SCP 513 does not effect anything physically in creatures exposed by it, but instead fully effects creatures mentally. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: My hypothesis was partially correct, while there were no physical differences between SCP 049-2 instances that were effected by SCP 513 and those who were not, they still retained the effects of SCP 513
