  1. 1. What's your in-game name? ST MSGT Elias 9066 2. What is your SteamID as shown on roster? STEAM_0:0:422505230 3. How long have you been on the server? Approximately 4 weeks of total playtime 4. How many warns on Gaminglight servers do you have? N/A 5. Why do you want to be an Officer? I have a great deal of respect and admiration for the Stormtrooper battalion. It is an underappreciated group with many unique qualities that not many battalions can say they have. Its versatility and diversity make it unique among the many branches on the ISD, and it's sore lack of numbers is a travesty. From my time working to rebuild SF before the map update, a key part in reviving the battalion was to rebuild its NCO and officer corp with intelligent and dedicated people, something I wish to apply towards ST as well. 6. What time zone are you in? Eastern Standard Time 7. What can you do to improve the battalion? If I am made an officer, I will not hesitate to overhaul the battalion wherever I can to improve activity and member retention. There are many things that can be added/changed in the SOP, such as defcon-5 duties, sectors, Tatooine objectives, squad formation and more. With this, I also wish to work on that previous promise I made in question five, which was to rebuild the ST corp stronger with a strong command team at its helm. ST has many new potential recruits connect for the first time daily, something many people may miss as they stumble out of spawn blindly. I also wish to enact new policies for NCO+ and possibly enlisted to reward them for guiding these new members around the ISD, ensuring they connect again and possibly join another battalion, improving the activity of the server as a whole from the ground up. 8. How do you differ from other applicants? I have been on Gaminglight ImperialRP for quite some time. From my first time joining all the way back in November of 2021, I managed to climb the ranks all the way up to the rank of Admiral before it was decommissioned in favor of the Senior Commander role. Along the way I was a diligent AO and eventual CAO, working closely with SF to improve their battalion during the difficult time where they were without a Marshal or vice marshals, even lending a hand in the creation of Shadow Wing when it was just a concept. I worked closely with figures such as Jabronie (the current Fleet Admiral), Guy (Former Tesso Broosh), Proteus (Current High Admiral), and many other good individuals. If there is one thing that truly sets me apart, it is my veterancy to the server and to the role of an officer.
  2. I believe this is a good change for the server, and will assist the environment the playerbase has created!
  3. It's been a pleasure working with you every step of the way, I hope you take it easy from here on out! I'm very sorry to hear about what happened, I'll be praying for you and your family. Admiral Firmus Piett (Elias)
  4. Accepted! Please see CAO Leo for your training! Admiral Firmus Piett (Elias)
  5. + Support Racc has been very pleasant to work with during my tenure on Gaminglight. He is friendly, hard working, attentive and down to earth. All of these qualities make him an excellent choice for the position of Fleet Admiral. I would be more than happy to work with him in this new dynamic. - Admiral Firmus Piett (Elias)
  6. Accepted! Please seek Security Director Sauce for your training! Admiral Firmus Piett (Elias)
  7. Denied Please wait 1 week before reapplying! If you have a question regarding the reasoning, please contact me! ~ Admiral Firmus Piett (Elias)
  8. Application Accepted! Please seek CAO Leo for your Aviation training! If he is unavailable, do not hesitate to get in contact with an Admiral for your training! ~ Admiral Firmus Piett (Elias)
  9. Denied Please wait 1 week before reapplying! ~ Admiral Firmus Piett (Elias)
  10. + Support Brand is an amazing addition to the SF team. A friendly and charismatic individual, he is undoubtedly skilled as a pilot and with leadership. I hope to see him elevated even further into this position. TAO Commodore Elias Falkusa Former CAO & Vice Admiral
  11. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : Elias / Elias Falkusa 2. What Regiment are you applying for? The Imperial Navy, specifically for the position of Admiral Piett 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? Ever since I first joined Gaminglight in December of last year, I dedicated all of my in game resources to the navy and naval battalions. I have had much time to get to know the branch and the people within it, and come to understand how the navy operates within our server. Playing on Gaminglight imperialrp has been a great time, and I have a great desire to give back to the community, and most importantly the naval battalion. During my unfortunate retirement, I had heard that we lost our great High Admiral Frog, and our great Admiral Matrix, with both losses shocking me. Naval high command is in need of more members to its repertoire, and I seek to assist and fill in any gaps as necessary. I do not expect to be chosen, my sole goal is to perpetuate the stability of the battalion. If I can continue to work towards this goal without the position of Piett, I shall remain equally as determined. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I have managed to achieve over a week of cumulative playtime on the SWRP server. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? I have had much time to understand the board of admiralty ever since I became a commodore in February, all the way up to the rank of Vice Admiral before my retirement. I have had much time to build good connections with the current board and beyond, assisting them in their daily tasks and weekly objectives. An Admiral has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, carrying out the will of Imperial High Command and balancing the needs of the Naval enlisted, supervisors and low command. He is to work in tandem with his colleagues, each of whom oversee different portions of the Navy. Admiral Antonio Piett, for his part, must oversee the infrastructure of the Aviation branch and must ensure its continued efficiency and efficacy. With this position, he must oversee cohesion between SF and the Navy, though this does not give him power to decide the Admiralty's position on aviation. He must work and mesh with them in a cohesive unit for the security and stability of both branches. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I have come to understand the responsibilities of an admiral well, namely as more than a mere delegator, and as a leader and role model for all below him. It is my belief that my experience and connections would allow me to fill this role perfectly, as my dedication and understanding of my comrades on the naval team would only assist me in any endeavors of the admiralty. I spent a good amount of time assisting SF in the Aviation specialty also at this time, when I helped them pick up the pieces after the devastating losses of their marshal and vice marshals. It was also at this time that the Navy had lost its low command team, leaving me as the lone rear admiral for that time. Despite all these hardships, I dedicated as much as I could to SF and the Navy, ultimately succeeding in a speedy recovery for both battalions. Even during my unfortunate retirement my dedication did not waiver, as I sought to help however I could while retired, continuing to do tasks such as roster updates. 7. How often can you be Online? : During my time playing on the GL server, I have typically maintained a consistent playtime of two to three hours per day if I can manage it. The timing may fluctuate, but outside of this playtime I am almost always available to discuss or work on paperwork critical to the navy. 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : N/A TAO Rear Admiral Elias Falkusa Former CAO & Vice Admiral (Note, changing application for the new Admiral position Previously Motti, now Piett)
  12. What is your IGN?: Elias / Elias Falkusa Why do you want to become the position of Fleet Admiral?: For many months I have dedicated my time and effort towards the Gaminglight Imperialrp server. It has been an amazing experience thus far, with the community being very welcoming, and the roleplay being a treat, so much so that I yearned to return quickly after my retirement. I seek to double, nay, triple my efforts to better the GL community as a whole, starting with the experience felt in the navy and naval battalions as a whole. However I have seen that Navy HC has seen some heartbreaking retirements, including the well known leaders of Frog and Matrix. If I am chosen for the position of Fleet Admiral, I will quickly leap into action, and strengthen the currently weakened command team for the navy. What is the biggest thing you would bring to Navy High Command?: During my time in Gaminglight, I have picked up many skills and connections through my career in the navy. I spent two months in the Aviation specialty, one of which was spent as their CAO during SF's toughest moments. I was there to help SF pick up the pieces after the losses of their Marshal and Vice Marshal, and worked to strengthen the command team while clamping down on minging behavior. While doing this, I worked hard in an equally difficult time for the navy, where for a period I was the sole low command member. It was not easy, however all of it was rectified with dedication and good communication, two traits I bring to the table as the possible Fleet Admiral. What is the purpose of a Fleet Admiral?: A fleet admiral carries many responsibilities to his name. Not only does he act as a figure of leadership for the admirals, he must also work to organize the board of admiralty + low command as a whole. He must not distance himself from the lower command team members, instead he must be down on the ground with them, working and meeting with them face to face as a liaison for High Command and the Emperor himself. He must have a good view of the situation at all times, and be there when crises crop up. He is not just the organizer, but the key executioner behind new policy, plans and strategies. Why should we trust you to be Navy High Command?: When I was first promoted to the rank of Commodore on February 5th, I had been introduced to the board of admiralty firsthand. Ever since then, I have worked very closely with them as a dedicated low command member, assisting where I can and alleviating the pressure of normal admiralty tasks. I have good personal relationships with the current admiralty members, and they are well aware of my dedication to the community and navy. Most importantly, they understand that our workplace relationship would improve if I were selected for the position. I have known them for quite some time, and know of the troubles the admiralty must face. If I were to be selected, I would know what to tackle, and exactly who to tackle it with as a cohesive unit. How often can you be active in-game?: Before my unfortunate retirement, my battlemetrics had shown that I was a consistent player, typically clocking in two to three hours at minimum with few gaps or irregularities. Outside of this game time, I was also clocking in time doing some of the paperwork necessary to make Navy run outside of the game. Roster updates, LOA management and communication were all part of my daily tasks. Even during my retirement I did not stray, assisting by communicating with GL members and even continuing to do roster updates while retired. It is safe to say that my consistent schedule would make me a good candidate for the position, as I would likely be first to know if a situation were to crop up, and quick to execute when orders came down. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?): N/A
  13. I liked how Naval was integral to this event, even in the ground battle portion by using the ISD for orbital strikes! I want to see more
  14. I may have not met you personally, but it is sad to see you go. Shock has been a happy and effective force under your leadership, and it is always sad to see a team member go. Best of luck! ~ CAO Commodore Elias
  15. Introduction Many people will walk by this room and think nothing of it during their day to day lives on board the ISD-GL. This is understandable, as it is rarely ever mentioned in Naval tryouts, almost never used, and remains a forgotten piece of the bridge superstructure. However, today I offer a possible alternative to this room being left to gather dust. I propose for this room to be rebranded as an official command center for Aviation related affairs, open for SF command, Aviation officers and other high ranking officials to enter, coordinate, discuss, whatever the occasion may call for. There are many reasons why I suggest this room, including the following; The Radar A sorely underappreciated tool, the radar is a critical component of air operations. With it, pilots and vehicles can easily be identified without visual contact being required. Its potential for coordination of air wings and targets is great, and its versatility is equally limitless. The only other locations this device is found is ATC and SHB control room, both locations being primarily relegated to Naval operations. Putting this tool in the hands of SF would greatly increase coordination, especially if an officer is on the bridge to supply both visual and radar-based information to fighters in airspace through teamspeak or other communication methods. The Hangar Hologram Much like the radar, this seldom used tool is vital to the continued coordination and efficacy of the aviation team. There have been many instances where pilots are completely unaware of the bay doors being closed while they are in AS or about to scramble, and have been delayed precious seconds or even minutes waiting for a naval to rush to ATC and open it. With this tool, this problem can be identified very early on, and rectified with quick action even before the order to scramble is given. Unlike the radar, however, this tool is completely unique to this one room, making it a tragedy that this room is left unused. Proximity to Bridge During my time as an Aviation officer, I have sought to further increase the cohesiveness between bridge command and our boys in airspace. I have found great success through the use of an AO liaison being deployed to the bridge glass providing visual information, orders and relaying information between command to the fighters directly. This room, combined with this position, would mean even more critical information would be relayed to the pilots in our airspace, through the simple use of a short few meters of walking distance. It's convenient location makes it excellent for the Aviation team to utilize its potential in future operations. Conclusion The Starfighter Corp has vastly grown since it's first inception so long ago. With new tools at its disposal, a great command team at its head, and a wonderful versatility rarely seen in any other battalion, it has been able to prove time and time again its importance to the ISD. Be it through the vital transportation of troops to ground missions, or the war winning stunts performed in the skies during on ship combat. They have even proven their metal in ground armor situations. In my opinion, it would be critical to not just the battalion's wellbeing, but the ISD as a whole, to supply even more tools to ensure this rapid success. This lonely, forgotten room of equal potential, is but one way to ensure our team can continue giving its all to the rest of the ISD. ~ Captain Elias, Chief Aviation Officer
  16. + Support Astro has been very prolific in his activity and support for his comrades within the naval branch. He has shown dedication, tact, respect for those of his branch and outside of it. He is, in my opinion, the most qualified for this position, and has my full support for it. ~ Captain Elias, Chief Aviation Officer
  17. What is your ingame name?: Elias What is your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:422505230 What is your rank on the Naval Roster?: Lt. Commander What specialty are you applying for?: Chief Aviation Officer What Naval HC (Admiral +) gave you permission to apply?: Pigeon What can you do to improve the branch you will be responsible for? During my time as an aviation officer and senior aviation officer, I have been entrusted with improving the overall efficacy and morale of our Starfighter corps. I have done my best in ensuring humility, efficiency, coordination and respectability within all ranks of the corp, and I shall continue to do so if I am permitted the rank of CAO. I have further plans to improve SF's efficiency, not just through simulations, trainings and the promotion of competent officers, but in the coordination with other branches. I have recently made a proposal for AO's to be assigned as liasons on the bridge during events, where they may directly pass on orders from the admiral or whoever is in charge at the time on to SF, all while coordinating their movements with their overseeing position. I have done experiments with this idea in simulations and events, to gratifying results. As CAO, I will work harder to implement more important changes such as this, and seek to bring SF into an even greater position of importance than before. Why should you be trusted with this position?: In my time as AO and SAO, I have worked closely with SF, often in a one on one basis with trainings, certifications and tryouts. I have gotten to know many of the members of this great battalion, learned how the corp works from top to bottom, and made improvements wherever possible. Why do you want this rank?: I truly believe that SF has great potential and importance to the rest of the ISD. As CAO, I hope to bring our fighters up to peak efficiency, to bring on board new and competent AO's who will continue to act as links between our Navy and our SF, and to further strengthen the bonds our pilots have between one another. Do you understand that if you receive a strike you will be stripped of this rank?: Yes What is your purpose within your assigned branch?: My purpose has been to ensure the continued improvement of our Starfighter corp. As stated previously, I have been working tirelessly to improve communication and teamwork within the corp, as well as teamwork with other branches of the Imperial military. My purpose since my acceptance as an AO shall continue, with more vigor than ever before.
  18. What is your ingame name?: Elias What is your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:422505230 What is your rank on the Naval Roster?: Midshipman What specialty are you applying for?: Aviation What Naval HC (Admiral +) gave you permission to apply?: Admiral Pigeon What can you do to improve the branch you will be responsible for?: To ensure the continued efficiency and efficacy of the Imperial Fighter Corp, to maintain a healthy number of SF when needed, and to reign in any unruly members of SF. Why should you be trusted with this position?: I may not have much time within the server, but I am respectful, responsible and well aware of my duty. Why do you want this rank?: The SF are one of the core components of the ISD. Without them, we would be left helpless to enemy fighter pilots. My goal is to ensure the safety of the ISD, its inhabitants, and leaders by ensuring control of our local airspace. Do you understand that if you receive a strike you will be stripped of this rank?: Yes. What is your purpose within your assigned branch?: To maintain air traffic, oversee the SF while informing them of any new protocols, and fly if necessary.
