    Due to the overall carelessness and lack of knowledge included in this application, along with your lack of community reputation overall, both in Gaminglight affiliated servers and forum reputation I'm not supporting this applicant's request. I would normally ask what is wrong with an application, but in this instance it would be more fitting to ask what isn't. I would recommend building a community reputation along with following the provided guidelines for the staff application in the future should you apply again.

    While your application is decently composed and formatted, and you seem to know what you are doing, I don't see you active that often on the community, whether it be due to your timezone not being in line with EST or otherwise. I can vouch however that Blight is indeed a nice and respectable community member, and tries to be as fair as possible when he can be. His overall demeanor is that of someone that I could personally trust if he was given the opportunity to staff for the community.

    Why do you want to join the O5 staff team: Former Executive Commander of the Alpha-1 regiment, it would be an honor for me to still be able to serve my roots where it all started because I still regard A1 as my founding regiment. I would be a great leader in regards to guiding new Alpha-1 members to their glory and help them improve in regards to tactical ability and teach them more about the general, and more private guidelines of being a level 4/5 Alpha-1 tactical operative. I've always personally loved the foundation of A1, and the secretive guidelines that come along with being part of the division of operation. 

    Why should we accept you: As said I was a former command member for the regiment when it was one, and I would still like to be able to serve the O5 and their overall cause. I have the ability to lead patrols, train and otherwise guide O5 protection personnel to be the best that they can be, and better. I will not tolerate laziness in regards to said. There isn't really a whole lot to explain or tell, being as how most of how I feel is personal in regards to pride and overall leadership. I know how to build masterpieces from next to nothing with the correct team in regards to an efficient team, which I am sure myself, and O5 personnel are able to do. It is of the utmost importance to me the the O5 council stays safe at all times, no matter if it costs my life, secrecy and silence is and always will be the key.

    Pros: 

    • Add's more of a interesting aspect to RP, being able to check camera's in parts of the foundation.
    • Gives technical and ranking MTF/Gensec personnel something to do if they are not currently partaking in active duty. 

    Cons:

    • Finding an addon in the server that will run well with the server without causing script errors, lag ect. 
    • The overuse and overall abuse that could come from such a system, it should be limited.

    Other Recommendations

    • Having your MTF/Gensec regiment members posted in the correct strategical positions in regards to the DEFCON status
    • Using the radio and teamspeak for clear communication during ops, also learning your surroundings to communicate your location in a timely manner
    • Limiting the camera system, should it be implemented, to the LCZ zone only, being as how GENSEC are probably going to be the main users for this system, they should only need it there. On top of that it would follow procedure with how much access GENSEC have to the foundation, for example we wouldn't want an officer seeing 096 on camera and then calling it out on comms. Short and simple, limit to LCZ ONLY

    Seems relatively balanced overall, they're trading off some jobs and utility for updated weapons and jobs, and assuming that their health stats are balanced I don't see there being much of an issue with this update. Only quarrel I have have with this is the size of the first model pack being at 46mb total, which is a lot more than the standard pack size that is recommended for use.

    Not really necessary in any way that I should see, plus it really shouldn't be made public business due to the fact that people may complain about unfair salary or stats, [Which are currently balanced due to the branch updates released as of this post]  on top of that most of the jobs have descriptions that are included anyways in the F4 menu. If you wish to see a list of salaries in regards to other regiments, it's as simple as checking the forums for accepted branch updates and looking at the data included there. SMT has been working really hard on some rather tedious work in regards to some of the MTF branch updates due to the amount of requests being made, and I personally do not think that this is something that needs, nor should be focused on right now.

    The part about dealing in SCPs is just a big NO

    Bribing officials, it’s okay but can be exploited.

    Infiltrating the foundation- We already have enough problems with CI raids

    Unless igneous wants to add another faction we shouldn’t be asking for one atm

    Inshort the fact that it can deal with both CI and foundation gives it insane power which is a big NO

    Normal and hard PKs should never be a punishment for getting captured. I think in some situations soft PKs can be given out, but they should be rare.

    I do agree that sometimes punishments need to be given to the people that are frequently captured, especially if they are high ranking personnel. PKs are often too harsh, we all pick a username that we like to go by, not being able to use that name may be frustrating and may get some people pretty mad. I feel like you should only get punished if you have been captured a couple times within a week, getting captured once shouldn't get you striked / PK'd.

    As for role-playing with negotiations, I have never seen CI try to negotiate to get one of their members back, they just raid. With the removal of mining, the only way of working for money was removed. The only reliable source of getting money in-game is AFKing, and that can be a problem when it comes to negotiations. Sometimes CI request 100K for SA, not everyone has or wants to give up that kind of money for a singular role-play scenario. It's much easier for MTF to just bum rush and take back the SA or kill them if need be. 

    I would like to see some more RP between CI and the foundation, not just *raid raid shoot shoot!*, and negotiations is a great place to start. But before we can start giving up large amounts of $$, we need a way to work for money that doesn't take too long.

    And with personnel like O5, we're better off killing them than letting CI interrogate them. That's why O5 should always attempt to use cyanide if they are about to get captured.
