Yes Permission(Not required If applying for Lt-Cpt): N/A Why should you be promoted? : I feel I should be promoted because I have been apart of the Police Department for a while and I know in most cases what to do and I feel i'm mature enough to handle this responsibility. I'm in one other department which is Secret Service I am a SSEA (Elite Agent) I may apply for another department. I know I make mistakes, I know i'm younger than most, and I know I was inactive for about a week or a week and a half But I think I can handle this and slowly build the PD up. As you all know sometimes PD has its moments but that's one thing that everyone is trying to improve, I think I can help make a difference in the Rockford Police Department. The only way to resolve issues is to correct them and that's one of command's jobs so if promoted I can possibly better help correct some of these issues. I think I can bring several things to PD command like a decision maker, a mature leader, and a helpful person. I know majority of the PD rules and I will continue to enforce these rules even if i'm not accepted. These are the reasons I should be promoted.
