2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:102688906

3. Roster Name?: Infinity Boot

4. Current Rank?: 1LT

5. When were you promoted?: 2/4/2023

6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 4 months (Early October)

7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes, this is a Promise I made at WO, And one I will hold now.

8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes, With the SOP as the Foundation, and the MoTD the bedrock below it.

9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: I will Respect and listen to those higher and lower, as anyone from any position can have a good idea.

10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): Let's do this as I did my DCHJ and WO apps.

- Editing and Administrative capacity: Strangely Enough I do very much like Editing and making SOPs, along with note taking and typing that is required for meetings, Figuring out how to make an SOP legible and iron out any errors or even worse, contradictions, as the last thing we need is the SOP itself to be confusing our new players. Administrative capacity is a hard one to really measure or...describe other than you are good with documents and people management, as this server doesn't deal too much with resources other than humans.

- Good Reputation within GL: This one is hard to talk about without sounding egotistical, But it's a good point to talk about anyway.

I would say I have a good reputation within Gaminglight, I have no strikes or Warns, I have Command in two branches so I have less Bias between them, I have been in 7/9 Branches (Maint and D5 I have not been in), and held CMD in 3/9. When it comes to Security I could not point to a person where I could say "I do not like them" or point to a person and say "they do not like me". One thing some people don't do is...Spread love to Utility and Research! their jobs are hard on this server and if they all went away? we are SOL to say the least. So please, if reading this... love your Researchers and Utility.

- Quality Control: To some this may be a Weird Thing to bring up, But Quality Control is what is needed in Security a lot, There is a problem with people not knowing what to do in situations, or not wanting to act. we need to help people to know what to do and when, this causes Security to be slow to act and sloppy at acting. Which I will do my best to help those below and around me to correct this. I cannot do it alone but of course, I will need help with My Fellow CMD and SCMD to do it, Teamwork is always needed and always the best choice in most situations.

11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: get a reason on Why they are leaving D-block so often, And ask them to stay within D-block especially if there are few people, if they repeat this behavior, especially if they are doing little to nothing whilst outside, If they get 2-3 warnings, it would be to the point where you take them to the side and Directly tell them if they keep going, it will lead to A Punishment, Up to and including strikes. if it stops? good! if they ignore the warning or get worse, then you deal out punishment to your good judgement. Do not over punish, do not under punish.

12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: If they are an NCO they should know that they are needed in D-block, as they are to have command of D-block and its Menial things, and Especially since I and other CMD rely on them to be our eyes and ears when we are not there. Warn them that due to them being an NCO we expect more from them, as they are in a "semi" commanding position. If they lead on with this Behavior after the Requests, commands and warnings, they will be Punished accordingly. BUTTTT if they do correct their behavior, take note. everyone has a fault but if they are willing and able to correct them, that is someone you should look out for.

13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into D-Block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: (Ignore the fact I'm E11 CMD for now), I will tell them that Due to their rank and Branch they do not have command over any Security and that they are to Leave D-block...as they are not allowed in, I will tell them if they have Suggestions or grievance they can bring them up with me or other CMD. if they keep up this behavior or Argue back I will Kick them out, if they attempt to resume the Behavior... Well then I will bring this up with E-11 CMD for Further Punishments. (now remember I'm E11 CMD) I would Tell them that I hold CMD in E-11 so that I Do know what I am talking about, I don't hold command over them (as they don't over us.), But I can still Deal out Punishments for what they do on that job. once again, do not over punish or under punish

14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: Someone has been Promoted from CPL to SGT, you explain to them that they are now an NCO and provide the NCO guide and the SOP to them along with the Speech on what they can do for protocols, you can explain to them they are able to be trained for FTO, and that it looks the best on them out of all the sub branches.  Explain how to do checkpoints, how to set up people (including language), activity logs, how/when to send people on Patrols, how to LEAD patrols, and how to deal with unruly Enlisted. if they have questions, answer as best as you can (Which should be really good.). At the very end you Give them the whitelist and Log the promo/training for SGT within the Promotion channel. if you are able to, Train them for JFTO if they ask. since new FTOs are ALWAYS good thing.

Now before I close this, I would like to say that Idea I had. CMD or NCO PTs or "Updates" make sure they know their SOP and can convey/act on it accordingly. Because, honestly...When is the last time YOU have read the SOP? days? weeks? months? in other words... read it again.

Thank you for reading and Supporting my Application. All Plus and Minus Supports are read and taken into account. please remember to not let your personal bias come into play, for better or for worse for me.
