Why do you believe you should become a Maintenance Command member (100+ words)? Well, I believe I'm a good fit for a few reasons, I am very active on maintenance. I am knowledgeable on the rules and SOPs. I have experience as an Nu7 Senior Command member. I always try to be as friendly and nice, I don't minge. As an Nu7 Captain I learned how to be an example for others. As of right now there isn't a ton of command and I believe I could help with some of the work, I will do my best to help out enlisted with any questions or concerns. I would hope to motivate people and encourage them to apply for command or any of the level jobs as well. I wish to promote more activity in maintenance as well. [The following questions are intended to test your response and ability as command. You must answer 2 (two) of the questions, though you may answer all 3 if you wish.] 8-1. A Utility Trainee has escaped the training room and is refusing to return, how would you handle this? If all verbal attempts have failed, I will demote them off the job and possibly seek further punishment depending on the severity of it. 8-2. Some enlisted members have begun RDMing each other in bunks as a way to pass time, what would you do in this situation? I would tell them to calm down and stop the RDM, if continued I would give out strikes to those who keep doing it. 8-3. A Junior Maintenance is breaking multiple SOP rules such as improperly using tools and disregarding DEFCON rules, what are your next steps? If all verbal communication has failed, I would remove them from Maintenance and possibly on a DNT.
