Lore Name: Dr Mattie Bright
Rank: Dr Bright
SCP: 3688

Question / Idea: Can I teach a D-Class to successfully perform the Kinetoglyph known as SCP-3688?

Background Research:

SCP-3688 is a series of dance like movements which when performed correctly renders the performer completely Invulnerable for the duration of the performance.

I learnt the movements required to perform SCP-3688 effectively.

Hypothesis: Anyone can be taught the Kinetoglyph thus rendering everyone Invulnerable

Observations (What Happened During Test):

Test 1:

Subject: D-3944

I relayed the movements required to perform SCP-3688 which are as follows:

Dance for 5 Seconds

Wave

Bow

Lion pose

Once the D-Class demonstrated they knew the movements I instructed my escort LCPL  ███████ to fire upon D-3944 2 Seconds after they commenced the Kinetoglyph

Result : D-3944 Suffered multiple GSW and died on scene

Official Cause of Death: Not dancing correctly

Test 2:

Subject: LCPL ███████ (Volunteered)

After Volunteering I instructed LCPL ███████ to perform the same sequence as D-3944.

This time LCPL ███████ Performed the sequence once before the Shaped Charges beneath him were detonated.

Result: LCPL ███████ Died Instantly due to injuries sustained from the Explosion.

Official Cause of Death: Blowing Up

Evidence/Visual Stimuli: Test 1

Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results):

After Experiment 2’s Failure I re-examined the sequence required to perform SCP-3688 and discovered I had swapped the wave and the bow the correct sequence is as followed:

Dance for 5 seconds

 Bow

Wave

Lion Pose

after learning of my mistake I grew quite distressed as I had wasted all my time and so then decided to treat myself to a Hot Chocolate and the rest of the day off.

Was Your Hypothesis Correct?:

Uncertain due to aforementioned circumstances. Further testing required.

As my first grading 🙂

I would give this a 75/100
Lore is accurate to the SCP in question. (Although I'm sure it wouldn't be as simple as a few gestures.)

A little bit of comedy without letting it consume the whole log.

A very out of the way SCP that isn't tested very much.

A fairly decent length overall.

My only point of contest is I wish there was a test of the procedure after you realized your mistake.

Overall, pretty good log.

weiss pls dont beat me
