Hope
Lore Name: Junior Researcher hope Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 1025 Question/Idea: If SCP-1025 were able to affect two subject simultaneously with the same effect while reading it at the same time or can it only target one subject one at a time. Background Research: SCP-1025 is a book titled "The Encyclopedia of Common Diseases", approximately 1,500 pages long. Currently, no copies of the book has been located and no publishers has been found associated with SCP-1025, with no record of the publishers. SCP-1025 manifest when a subject reads about the diseases published in the book, where the reader would then exhibits the symptoms of a disease they read about. Testing has shown that the disease has manifested immediately after reading SCP-1025 and between ██ and ██. Hypothesis: If SCP-1025 were to be read by two subject at the same time. SCP-1025 should be giving the two subjects the same effects they are reading in the book. Observations: Two class-D personnel were placed side by side in front of SCP-1025. They were instructed to read SCP-1025 at the same time when Junior Researcher hope counted them down, Both subjects successfully read SCP-1025 at the same time. However, Subject #2 collapsed immediately on the floor and was deemed KIA on the spot. On the other hand, subject #1 were discovered and diagnosed with a lung cancer after reading SCP-1025. The experiment was deemed over and the surviving class-D personnel were then escorted by general security to medical bay. The experiment was deemed successful by Junior Researcher hope. Evidence: N/A Analysis/Conclusion: If SCP-1025 were to be read by two subject at the same time. SCP-1025 should be giving the two subjects the same effects they are reading in the book. However, the hypothesis was rejected as both class-d personnel exhibited different symptoms when class-D personnel were instructed to read SCP-1025 at the same time. One theory that could have caused the result of the experiment is that SCP-1025 can only target one person at the same time. SCP-1025 is not able give the subjects who read it the same symptoms. Hence, SCP-1025 gave the initial disease that the page was flipped to the first initial subject who was the one who opened it first. Then, it will give a random disease from its 1,500 catalog of diseases from SCP-1025 to the second subject. Hypothesis: The hypothesis was rejected. osu! achiever?
