Form Title: [SCP-096] ~ Research (11/22/19)

Rank: Lead researcher

Clearance Level: 2

List of Personnel involved in testing: Security MSGT Fresh, Dev SR James Dark

Level D personnel involved: D-15732, D-13248

SCP: SCP-096

Errors and/or safety hazards: CI raided while D-15732 was being administered amnestics but they ignored us.

Question: Does SCP-096 react to people touching it's face while they are blindfolded?

Background Research: SCP-096 has been known to go into an enraged state if anyone views it's face or if anyone attempts to attack SCP-096.

Hypothesis: SCP-096 won't react to people touching it's face as long as they do not attempt to harm it or look at it's face.

Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): D-15732 was sent into the containment chamber with a blind fold on and we started listening for screaming and asking the D-class if he felt anything, the D-class was unable to find SCP-096 for approximately 20 minutes and we decided to send D-13248 in without a blindfold on and instructed him to guide D-15732 to SCP-096, approximately 5 minutes after sending D-13248 in SCP-096 was heard screaming and D-13248 is presumed dead. After approximately 30 more minutes D-15732 finally found SCP-096 and was able to touch his face without being terminated, D-15732 was extracted from the containment chamber, given amnestics and returned to D-block safely.

Analysis and Conclusion: It is possible to touch SCP-096's face without it becoming enraged.

Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Yes.

Grade: Quality! 😄

Lore: 20/20

There are no major lore violations.

Creativity: 20/20

Most people who do tests with less common SCPs like 096 do something like getting blood samples or other bodily fluids, you actually stopped to think.

Presentation: 17//20

I like the colors for the most part, but I HATE that you used black on a forum that is on a permanent dark mode.

Writing: 35/40

Writing's all right, but it reads more like a simple transcript of events than an actual scientific document.
