[100+ Words] I, 1SGT Mox, would like to become an Officer within the 501st because I believe I can be more helpful to the 501st if I was an Officer, and I believe I can handle the responsibility that will come with the position. I don't want to have to witness the battalion go through problems and be able to help deal with the problems just because I'm a NCO. I also believe that becoming an Officer within the 501st will widen my knowledge for I can and should know, Not to mention this could raise me up the ranks of this Battalion if command accepts this. How could you assist the 501st Command with this rank? [75+ Words] I, 1SGT Mox, believe I can be of great assistance to the 501st by becoming an Officer. I am online every day unless i'm on a vacation so there would always be an Officer online to assist the 501st in whatever problems that may arrive while command is not available. I also believe that by becoming an Officer, I can help our enlisted and NCO’S develop within the 501st and grow to be outstanding soldiers while also upholding the honor and dignity that the 501st holds thanks to current 501st command’s efforts. While i may not be the wisest, or the smartest or the best soldier, i believe with all my heart i can help this battalion grow, even by just a little bit. I'm not biased with my decision making, I'm online everyday so there would be an Officer online with decent availability Have you had any previous experience has an Officer? i have not had any experience as an Officer What is the purpose/duty of an Officer? the duty of an Officer is to keep the troops elite and ready for battle, encourage NCO's to do tryouts, keep the troops organized and not mingy, and keep them out of trouble.
