Mox's 501st Commander Application
C l o u t l e s s J o s h u a replied to mox1cle's topic in Accepted
- Support Extremely low effort app for the position being applied to. Lack of proper grammar, spelling, or punctuation. No poll attached to application. I am well aware of the absence I have had from the server these past months, hence why my only responses in the - Support above are made only on the character of the applicant and the quality of their application. My apologies to Mox, I am aware of our friendship but I do not think your application is up to par, nor are you ready for the position. -

1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name): Waltan Dorn. 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Navy. 3. Why do you want to be an Admiral of this branch? I was originally the Vice Commander for the 501st legion, I left on great terms as I only left so as to come to Naval and assist in recruiting efforts and increase overall activity for the Battalion. As I promised the 501st, I promise the same here. I will do everything for The Navy as I did for them. Recruiting will increase, activity will increase and the quality of the members of Naval and the roleplay they engage in will increase with the others. 501st went from what it was months ago to a greatly active battalion with new quality Commanders that I personally trained and watched go from private to Vice Commanders. I want to be one of the Vice Admirals so as to further the career I've so far built on GL, specifically in The Imperial Navy. Naval RP has always been my favorite above all others and I feel like not only could I bring assistance but also provide a certain pleasure in the work I'd help my would-be command team which I can guarantee would be apparent. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? 795 hours and 20 minutes. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? To ensure the behavior and image the battalion projects is a positive one and that the SOPs set in place are followed. It is also the duty of a Vice Admiral to communicate with their monthly Overseer and determine what if any changes need to be put in place or worked towards such. A Vice Admiral is also meant to be one of the closest advisors to the Admiral themselves on top of receiving orders and delegate them about the Officers and Crew. In the absence of the Admiral it is the duty of the Vice to assign weekly orders to those who need them or aren't aware of such. 6. Why should we trust you to be an Admiral?: My work in the server since I've joined has proven that I can not only handle the tasks of a Vice Admiral or Captain, but also excel at them too. Naval has already grown and shown progress since I've joined. I personally see no reason as to why I shouldn't be granted the same chance here as I was just a few months ago in the 501st Legion. I also feel like I would be a great pick as our second Vice Admiral due to the time zone restraints of our current one, it would also greater benefit the Navy as the work load would be more evenly spread amongst command staff rather than 2 people handling it all. If accepted into the Admiralty in The Navy I would make it my first and immediate goal to get in touch with the Higher Admiralty and my months Overseer and get any revisions if any, made to the Naval Documents as many of them have gotten outdated and are in dire need of updating. I did such with 501st and will do so here. 7. How often can you be Online?: I am online Daily. 8. Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : No. *THE STRIKE I HAD WAS APPEALED AND REMOVED.* Thank you to my peers and Command at the Battalion and Grand Levels for the time you've taken to read and consider my application.

What do you want to see?: Mainly a rework to something that is a major In Character issue. The Clearance Cards as well as the power that they hold aboard The Consilio and Lothal Base. Why should we add it?: Solely from an In Character standpoint, there are multiple issues caused by clearance cards. It is nonsensical as to why Cards are the same through almost all of Naval, I myself as Ship Captain have the exact same clearance card/level as a Naval Crewman as well as the same Card levels as trooper enlisted men. I say that there needs to be some degree of change in that. As it is from an In Character view, the Captain of The Vessel should be able to go to The Brig and other area's of great importance to vessel. I'd like to add, the ranks that do have CL-4 do not make sense as much as it does for others, such as how The Captain of his own vessel, has CL-3. But a ARC trooper has CL-4, or how The Captain has the same clearance as all other Naval including INTEL, SO, and regular Crew. To counter the argument of "If you want CL-4 get a CL-4 rank," why is the Highest Non-Command ranked individual in the Navy not CL-4 seeing as how a Naval Captain is equivalent to an Army Colonel? What are the advantages of having this?: I believe it would aide In Character interaction better as it would allow those of Higher Clearance the ability to go to a wider range of locations aboard The Consilio and Lothal Base, thus leading to better/more consistent roleplay in area's that tend to go unused due to such high security clearances or lack of people with clearance to enter them. Who is it mainly for?: Officers and NCO's. Links to any content: N/A

What is your in-game name?: Waltan Dorn What is your SteamID: 76561198807762266 What is your rank on the Naval Roster?: Captain. (COL Equiv.) What can you do to assist Shock and DT?: Ensure that the recruitments efforts of both battalions take a noticeable increase after my joining to the Security Officer Corps. Once acceptable I was ensure to check with both the Command team of The Death Troopers and the Command team of the Shock Trooper Corps. Seeing where the battalions lie in recruitment, activity, and the methods they use to recruit to see where if any improvements can be made. I would need to also speak with the respective commands teams to inspect if any changes have been made since my last term as a Security Officer. Why should you be trusted as a Security Officer?: I was trusted as one before, I see no reason now as to why I shouldn't be given the chance again. The issue that led to my previous removal has been appealed, and the strike was entirely removed. When I was previously a Security Officer I maintained a steady flow of contact with both battalions and their specializations to see how much I could get done in the day. I did everything within my Security Officer ranking ability and Naval Officer ranking to accomplish the most work in the shortest amount of time. Why do you want to be a Security Officer?: I want to show that since my previous removal from Security Officers I have progressed as a person and am ready to prove myself again, by not only being accepted back but by keeping my spot and showing I can do great work for my Command team and Sub-Battalion Command, if accepted. What is your purpose as a Security Officer?: To ensure that the Imperial Laws are followed without bias, and to ensure that Shock and Death Troopers have the numbers they need with the training they need to be at their peak efficiency. Do you understand that if you receive a strike you will be stripped of this rank?: Yes. Do you understand that failure to approach an SSO+ within a week will result in Application Acceptance being VOID?: Yes.

Ka0t6t's Shock Vice Commander Application- Accepted

- Support 14 Warnings, even if old is still an insane amount to have. -
+ Support I was torn on whether or not to ultimately +/- Support because I love the RP with the 'Shadow of Vader' character. However as an IQ job you could only take it so far. But I believe you show a great quality of leadership and roleplay potential so in the end I think you're the best choice for this position. Best of luck to you, Shadow.

1. Your In-game: Waltan Dorn 2. Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:423748269 3. The player's name in-game: Void / DT S90 4. The player's steam name (If you know it): GL.sly 5. What did the player do: MassRDM 6. Evidence (REQUIRED): https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/2aFfOs4-iq-Do5/d1337Y8wF3Au?invite=cr-MSxNQWgsMjE2Mjg2MzMxLA screenshot of logs attached. 7. What do you believe should happen to the player: Void broke the rules by committing MassRDM. As someone who has 7 weeks on the server I am certain they have a solid understanding of the servers functions and its MOTD in my opinion this is 100% worthy of a temporary ban. 8. Any extra information: Void is not only Staff but is also a member of DT with 7 weeks on the server, for this reason I believe he is 100% well aware of the SOPs and MOTD of the server. He cannot claim ignorance to the situation.
