(150 Word Minimum) I think deserve isn't the right word. I would say that I am CAPABLE of having the rank. I'm 19, in the US Navy and used to dealing with administrative issues. Turning professionalism on and off is a daily occurrence for me. I understand the balance between "Work and Play". Sometimes its totally fine to mess around with people and just have fun; however, sometimes the situation dictates professionalism and you have to deal with a situation accordingly. Being in the medical field is another bonus to that. Patient confidentiality, patient-provider relationships etc. They don't directly correlate, but those skills definitely do. Additionally, I know the rules, I have 0 warnings on SCPRP, and I'd like to say I have very good standing with the community. In the end, you wont know until you accept my application. Punish them and move on. Eventually their future punishments will be more and more severe. It's not staffs job to make a player care about them breaking the rules, its their job to enforce them. Q4: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this? Honestly, the staff guidelines don't state a specific punishment for bug abuse. However, if the reporting player can give valid evidence I'd say the best plan of action would be to route it up the CoC and punish accordingly.

Anytime a Junior needs help whether it be with a test, just a simple question, or advice, I’m always there to help them. I’m also just a relatively chill guy. I always keep calm in stressful situations thanks to being a Navy Corpsman. I never lash out or abuse juniors; I always just try and help guide them to a “better path”. I’ve also helped recruit quite a few new researchers to the branch. Lastly, in terms of actual research I’ve done, I believe I’ve created some down right phenomenal and very notable test logs. What can you bring to the table that others can't? (100 word requirement): First thing: experience. I'm a Navy Corpsman, we gain loads of experience leading Marine Corps Infantry in terms of casualties and tacevac. I’ve personally led mass casualty drills, organized real life training, along with loads of real world medical events. How does this apply to being Research Command? The topic doesn’t apply at all and I believe that's self-evident; however, leading is leading and there's no way around it. I’ve learned great patience teaching Marines as well… they aren’t always the brightest in the bunch. I’ve learned different teaching strategies. I’ve learned how to manage large events with multiple working parts and have them run pretty well with minor bumps in the road. Secondly, I'm passionate about this branch and the people in it. I very much want to see this branch succeed and increase in number. It’s no question GENSEC has the most members. I will be able to promote our branch and run trainings and events to coax others to join. What would you do to better Research and increase activity? (100 word requirement): Hosting activities. Lots of them. Joint tests, mass tests, etc. Encouraging and mentoring juniors on how to write great logs and give them ideas and strategies to make good meaningful tests. Along with that, promoting trainings for Thaum and Hazmat certs, and promoting players to join our different sub branches. Other than that, doing actual Research PT’s could also be beneficial. This would just reinforce our SOP’s and include different tests as well.

I desire to do the best and be the best, and inside research, only the best make it to this level. Being in the US Navy, you are taught to strive to be the best and do the best. This is especially true being a corpsman (medic basically). In my job, we are trained to provide the greatest level of clinical and trauma care to our patients. While this isn't directly relevant, I firmly believe the attitude still applies to everyday life. Lastly, and most importantly, I wish to explore and invest in finding solutions to terminate "invincible" anomalous objects and other methods to prevent K-Class end of the world scenarios. Why should we accept you: I think numerous of my fellow researchers can attest to the fact that I am a very motivated and dedicated part of Research. I always put the maximum amount of effort into my test logs as shown above. I am newer to the branch than most applicants; however, I think my performance and work ethic is more important that a notional amount of days that I've been apart of the branch. I show up anytime I'm needed (minus whenever the US Navy decides to throw me in the field for periods of time). I have excellent discipline and motivation due to the nature of my OOC job (USN Corpsman). I genuinely use this server as R&R from my daily life. With that, I put forth the effort consistently to perform well. It feels really great to do good somewhere else instead of the toxic culture of the military.
