Name: Devil Doc Current and former RP ranks (max of 3 of each): Current: Research Manager, Agent Coyote EX4 CI PFC Former: MTF Alpha-1 Analyst Squad Lead (Victor-37/Victor-1) Delta-5 Enlisted E-11 Enlisted SteamID: STEAM_0:589296216 DiscordID: Devil Doc#8677 Why do you want to be a command member?: -I think I'm going to address this in 2 separate sections. The first being command in general, and the latter being Omega-1 Specifically: COMMAND: Being a command member on SCP-RP isn't just issuing out orders. From a more birds-eye-view, it's creating a community that makes people want to join, stay engaged, and retain your players. Nobody HAS to be here right? So the goal is to at a minimum, make it fun and long lasting. If a branch remains the same and becomes stale, people stop joining, they leave, and the branch dies. I want to see this branch flourish and become a great asset to the server. Who doesn't like some more "Funny boys"? I have great leadership skills that I've learned from gaming and the US Navy and I think I could apply them swimmingly here. OMEGA-1: For MTF Omega-1 specifically, I've been saying for YEARS that it should become a part of the server. Back when Hoovy was the head of Red Right Hand, we'd always be bouncing new ideas off each other to freshen it up and keep it fun and interesting. One of the huge things I remember always talking about was "Hey we really should add MTF Omega-1 as another Squad/branch". Typically I'd get shut down pretty quickly, and to be honest, most of the concerns were always well thought out and legitimate. So it never happened. When Piller made the announcement that this was "Fo'rizzle" I literally screamed in excitement. I nerd out on Omega-1. Basically being the foundations version of the Sith's Emperors hand/voice/fist. While the Ethic's Committee typically isn't seen in the Foundation personnel's everyday life, Omega-1 can and will be their liaisons. I would absolutely love to become a founding part of this branch and make it grow. What skills and qualities makes you best fit to be Omega-1 Command?: LEADERSHIP: In terms of experience, like stated earlier, I have loads of current and former command experience on this server, other communities, and in real life (The Navy). All of these experiences have formed me into the leader I am today. As a leader, your job isn't to make your subordinates serve you, it's to serve your subordinates. Its called Servant leadership. My experiences throughout the years in this community have opened my eyes to leading groups of individuals with different backgrounds, ages, and experiences of their own. I've learned that leading people requires a different and individualized approach to everyone. People are different. You cannot expect a cookie cutter leadership plan to work for everyone. Serving in the Navy, I've learned how to take an objective or set of orders, and disperse it to my juniors. The ultimate goal is to divide and conquer. AGREEABLENESS: I am a very agreeable person. In short, this means that I put others needs before my own, and in the case of GOC, I will put the branches needs before my own. Not in the sense that my entire life will be dedicated to it, but if the branch cuts into my own RP and fun time, that's perfectly okay with me. I am absolutely willing to spend hours assisting in the creation of SOP's and related documents. CHARACTER: Leaders need to have great character. In my life, I've worked with a lot of GREAT leaders and unfortunately, a lot of TERRIBLE ones as well. You learn what to do from the great ones and what not to do from the terrible ones. I've learned great leaders serve their subordinates. They praise in public and reprimand in private. They do what needs to be done for the sake of the mission. They make sacrifices. What they most certainly don't do, is put their own wants before anyone else's. SUB-BRANCHES: I am currently running and revamping Research's M.A.D. Sub-branch. This is a mostly RP-based sub-branch. I picked it up while ascending back through the command ranks and have revived it to be relatively active. I basically brought it back from the dead. Hoping to release it's revamp within the next coming days for it to be more inclusive and exciting. I completely re-did the SOP, to include a bunch of additional roles and responsibilities. On a scale of 1-10, how well do you know the Code of Ethics?: -I would say about a 9. I don't believe anyone knows them perfectly or by heart; however, I have read them numerous times and am confident I could speak about them fluently. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about my application before making a +/- Support, please feel free to contact me on discord, Teamspeak, or while I'm ingame. Let me address your issues: -Nowhere in the application format does it require proof of no warns. -The scenarios weren't rushed. I just don't see the need to add fluffy language to my post. Solutions should be simple. The more complicated you make something, the harder it becomes. -I just came back to the community near 2 months ago. I don't think 47 posts (Now 48) would be considered "Next to no forum activity" -I think my +support joke went right over your head homie. We are our greatest supporters. Please see above.

What is your in-game name?: Devil Doc What is your steam name?: Devil Doc What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:589296216 What is your discord username (Ex: Rookieblue#2667): Devil Doc#8677 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) I was an Elite Admin on the DarkRP server back when that existed. Zeeptin and Sonic were both Co-owners at the time. What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) I've been playing on GL since the original DarkRP server back in like 2014 or something around then. What date did you make your forums account? November 26, 2021 How many warnings do you have on all GL servers? 0 What is your donor rank? (User, Silver, Gold, etc) Platinum Are you a staff member in another community? I am not Have you read the staff handbook? Yes Timezone: PST What rank are you applying for? Trial Moderator Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) -Honestly I don't think it's a case of "deserve". I would like an opportunity to be staff on the server. I've played on it for coming up on 3 years now. I never had the time or ability to commit to applying to staff and seeing it through. Now with my new position, I feel like I have an adequate amount of time to be able to balance my RP with being a staff member. I'm 21, an HM3 in the Navy. I feel like I have the necessary skills and temperament required to be staff in this community. The military in general is a very quickly evolving organization and so is this server. I think the tempos match relatively well. This server gains new rules, SCPs, branches, etc. and I feel like I can keep up with that and help "give back" to the community that's given me a lot of joy over the years. Scenario questions: Select any two of the following four questions to answer for this section. Please note, in the scenario questions we are not expecting perfect answers. We are accessing your critical thinking skills, your ability to use the staff handbook, and come to reasonable conclusions. Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? - Personally, I'd just ignore their insults/curses and punish them according to the staff guidelines. Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation? -Separate them, then divide and conquer. If we separate them, it'll allow the staff team to get everyone's side of the story uninterrupted and without conflict. Then we can handle the situation accordingly with whatever the sit is about.

In-Game Name: Devil Doc Steam ID: STEAM_0:589296216 Current Research Rank: RAM Foundation Test Log(s) (graded 8+/10 only): Most of these documents are dated. As I was recently reinstated and haven't found time to create any new logs. However, I believe these are very representative of my abilities. Currently in the process of creating an SCP-001 document that takes up most of my time. Your Operations Advisor Overseer, has informed you there is a group of insurgents collecting foundation data at a field operating base on the surface. They are armed and well secured. How would you approach it? (100+ words): I suppose there could be 3 possible solutions to this problem Solution 1 would be to report this security breach to the Mobile Task Forces. Following the report, maintain a safe distance, and gather intelligence about the insurgents. Once enough information has been gathered, give a SITREP to the MTF for them to raid the Field Operating Base. After the insurgents have been dispatched, ensure all information gets secured and or destroyed. Solution 2 would be to destroy Forward Operating Base. It has been compromised and most likely contains an enormous amount of sensitive data that could be dangerous in the wrong hands. In terms of how we destroy the FOB, we could call in an airstrike or activate the explosives that were prebuilt into the site when it was built. Option 3 would be to rambo it and storm the FOB with fellow agents. I would argue them being armed and raiding the FOB is hostile intent on its own. There is a strange SCP that calls himself the “targeter”. When the name of another individual is said within earshot of the “targeter” the “targeter” will teleport to the individual that has had their name said, and run off. How would you suggest the foundation approach apprehension and / or termination of this individual? (100+ Words): So this SCP teleports immediately to the person who's name has been said. An easy approach would be so put a D-Class in a mobile soundproof containment chamber, say his name within earshot, and have this SCP teleport into the CC. The soundproof CC would prevent the SCP from hearing any other names from outside of the CC. After that, we can transport the SCP to a foundation site that is appropriately equipped to deal with said info hazardous SCP. Otherwise I suppose you could just flashbang the SCP and ensure that nobody in the vicinity utters someone else's name. An abandoned camp site has been discovered on the surface, hidden incredibly well within the brush. There are documents, newspaper scraps, as well as an old laptop with unknown data being transferred to a suspicious I.P. address. How do you react?(100+ Words): Conduct reconnaissance of the site. Observe from afar to see if any potential threats are in the area. If not, bring other agents to secure the immediate vicinity of this camp. Once that is done, call in MTF E-11 to continue setting up a security perimeter while agents search the camp. Secure the documents and newspaper scraps in some sort of lock box. Attempt to identify the location associated with the I.P. address along with what information is being transmitted. After that, secure the laptop the same way as the documents. Once everything has been collected and secured within the site, have the MTF either continue guarding the camp or destroy it. This would just depend on command discretion or an SOP.

[REDACTED] Research Resubmission - RFA Grading Requested
Devil Doc replied to Devil Doc's topic in Foundation Test Logs
Bump for grade hopefully. -
In Game Name: Devil Doc Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:589296216 What's your current Rank & Branch: RS Devil Doc (Former RM, Former RRH Squad Lead) What Type of Command Position are you applying for (Senior Command / Low Command): Senior Command (Foundation Doctor/Research Administrator) Date of when you first joined your branch: Unfortunately, I am not sure of the specific date however, I believe it was around Late 2021. Why do you deserve the position? (50+ Words): I'm working hard at trying to create events currently as Research low command, however, at my current rank, my abilities are limited. I am doing what I can, and I am doing it well. Id love to be able to do more and more. Also in fairness, my activity this past week has suffered due to me being a combat trauma instructor. It's sapped up a lot of my time. Especially since I live in the PST time zone so by the time the EST people are done playing, sometimes I've just signed onto the server. I plan on remedying this issue once these classes get less packed and I have a little more free time. What is your main goal of being Research Senior Command (100+ Words): In just a few words: Reviving and revitalizing the branch. Before I left, I remember tons of researchers always being online no matter the time. Tests were always occurring which made people happy. D-Class were happy to get the roleplay and the fun. Activity was at an all time high. Being gone, I didn't witness any kind of specific event that led to the decline of research, however, I very much enjoyed playing as command and still do. I also enjoyed working with research as an RRH Analyst and bringing fun to the junior researchers. Below you can find the key problems I've identified and recommended solutions for said problems. Do you think there is any issues with the branch and if so how would you fix it: I see a few issues with the research branch as a whole. They can be summed up to the following: Activity, Recruitment, Limited Combat, and Lack of Interest ACTIVITY: This across the board is pretty abysmal. All of command, along with enlisted are rarely active. The command activity can be partially attributed to quite a few resignations, which I believe caused a domino effect in the branch. The branches Command needs to be rebuilt. We've got some good ones, but we also have some inactive ones who need replacing. As far as the enlisted side, command can push more activities like trainings, mass tests, PT's, or even just competitions for promotions or monetary rewards. Maybe a rework of the divisions can help that as well. I feel like it spreads them out a little too thin. RECRUITMENT: Realistically, activity, and lack of interest can both be attributed to a large problem with recruitment. Recruitment numbers have plummeted since I was gone. An improvement we can make would be comparable to GENSEC. We can make being trained for RRA to be mandatory for promotion past the researcher rank for example. It doesn't have to be that specific rank, and this can be discussed and figured out. I also don't ever see anyone else advertising for the training of research recruits. There is never a "Join research today" advert in chat. Ever. LIMITED COMBAT: This is pretty reasonable. Research is primarily an RP and non-combatant branch. However, RAU could probably get a revamp to promote more activity and trainings in it. I would argue people would like to see a little more combat and not be entirely locked into the non-combatant realm. Examples: Mobile Mop Force and Combat Medics. Honestly, maybe even creating an SCP that helps research. LACK OF INTEREST: In regards to this, it causes a domino effect of lack of recruitment, which leads to a lack of activity. Why not push a branch update out? Branch updates boost recruitment, interest, and keep people in the branch. They reduce any chance of playing becoming stale and boring. Why should we accept you into Research Senior Command? (150 word minimum): Research needs it. Something needs to change. New people need to join the ranks and help improve it. Because without it, unfortunately, the branch as a whole may become too gone. I don't think anyone actually wants to see it that way. I have previous command experience in research, especially along the timeframe of when it was booming. I also have command experience in other communities. I was a VCMDR in the 212th in another communities Clone Wars RP (Dead community, few years back) . I was a Jedi Council Member in IFN's Jedi vs. Sith server. In terms of video game branch leadership, I would say I'm competent in understanding the dynamic on how branches operate. In terms of real life experience, I'm a Petty Officer in the US Navy. Leadership in the medical field is my job. I manage an entire shift of Sailors which requires great communication skills up and down the chain of command. It also requires quite a bit of tact. Sometimes when you want something, you cannot just say, I want this. You have to go about it in other ways behind closed doors.

Name - Devil Doc Steam ID - STEAM_0:0:589296216 Discord Name - Devil Doc#8677 Rank and branch (Nu7, E11, CI, Security) - RAS (Research) - Former RRH List any punishments you have been given (warns, bans, Strikes, etc) - None Why do you want to join Delta-5? Honestly it just seems like the MTF branch that has the widest variety of things you can do. Y'all have G9, raptors, and IAA. D5 can basically participate in any part of foundation ops. Why should we let you into Delta-5? (50+ words) So, realistically here, I don't technically meet the rank/branch requirements. However, I'd like to argue that me being in Red Right Hand while Hoovy was an O-5 makes a good case for me being a solid player and combatant. I just rejoined the server after a year long hiatus and D5 was the only branch I had never really been a part of. I'm great at RP, great at combat, would be a good asset to D5. Do you promise to uphold any and all community, server, and SOP rules and RP values? Yes

Format: 19/20- Looks very good. Only suggestion would be to maybe change the font to a more typewritter-esque. Grammar: 17/20- Some minor grammatical errors, punctuation etc Quality: 18/20- I like the different use of italics to break thinks up into different sections. Length: 15/20- Easy to read. I think you definitely could have gone more in depth with the test. Lore knowledge: 20/20- I don't see any issues with incorrect lore or anything. Seems like everything is correct in this department. Total: 89/100

n Game Name: Devil Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:589296216 Squadron you are Applying for (Guardian, Engineer, Analyst): Analyst Current RP Ranks Held: Lead Researcher If applying for Analyst please link notable test-logs here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AA5XudUPvi96QSozHlWDPDFHQE4vF54ZfR5cZ4B5ynQ/edit How many Warns do you have? (With Screenshot Proof): I currently have 0 warns. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2679909764 Why do you want to join the Red Right Hand team: I was on the Analyst team, and I got extremely busy with the military, forgot to put in an LOA and was removed. I loved playing as an analyst. I did underestimate how much time being greenside as a Corpsman would take. However, I will have a significantly larger amount of free time due to changes at work. Therefore, I plan on using a lot of that free time either playing as analyst or going to raves/festivals. I loved being in RRH and doing tests. Along with helping fellow researchers and RFA members do their own tests. Why should we accept you: My test logs are posted. They're very intricate, thought out, and unique. I put a significant amount of effort and hours into being an analyst. Tried to expand the analyst team by encouraging spectatular researchers to apply. It also appears that the analyst team is looking for a squad lead. I would love to take on that responsibility to grow the squad from 4-5 players average to maybe 10!

Minor change to the 5 min timer rule for SCPs - Denied
Devil Doc replied to Cecil Stedmen's topic in Denied
+Support cant enforce what isnt seen. Accountability is on the individual not command. Also breached SCPs are fun! More breaches more fun -
What are you suggesting? - -Ban MTF Stealth Operatives from being inside D-Block. They will continuously cloak inside of D-block in a corner and uncloak immediately when a D-class pulls out a weapon. -Make the requirement for any other MTF to be in D-block at minimum: During a partial lockdown/RIOT/Code Orange/GENSEC PT. Having 10 D5/Nu-7 in D block along with the large amount of GENSEC already there makes it nearly impossible for D-class to do anything without being immediately mowed down. NOTE: The rule states "upon request" which really can be at anytime and really just crushes D-Class. How would this change better the server? - It would increase the positive experience for players who play as D-Class. They are very aggravating to many and would promote more D-Class to play: ultimately, allowing more D-Class for tests, preventing breaches etc. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Potentially more breaches of SCP's,; however, one of MTF's main jobs is to patrol HCZ, so if they actually did their job, this wouldn't be an issue. Who would this change mostly benefit? - D Class

Ayo so... finding it harder and harder to actually do command activities and balancing my real job. Among actually trying to go outside and have a social life (try it, its cool). So... going to have to resign from Research CMD. Dont want to waste a CMD slot for someone able to do the job wayyy better. ' Thanks guys. Love you.
