    Add /looc [Local Out Of Character] Chat - Denied

    What you want to see? 

    I would like to see /looc added to PRP as a option for people to talk out of character to each other without breaking RP.

    Why should we add it? 

    It would allow people who want to say something OOC to the people around them without breaking the RP going on. 

    Example: A cop walks up to a person they just pulled over and says "Please give me your license and registration". If the person does not know how to do that, they can say "/looc How do I do that?"

    What are the advantages of having this? 

    Players would not break character as often during RP situations.

    Who is it mainly for? 

    Everyone.

    + It would be nice for people to not be allowed to destroy bitminers

    - When you are basing you should have the threat of your shit being destroyed by some raider all the time. Removing that fear of your shit being destroyed also removes a lot of the fun when basing/raiding which is fear of losing progress.

    I've been playing on crim a lot recently and I think I noticed why a lot of people choose to join crim right away instead of joining gov.

    1. bitcoin

    2. PRP has only 1 branch where you can join immediately which is police (correct me if I'm wrong) and because of that people don't have very many options to join gov unless they want to join police.

    Example: On SCP-RP there is 4 starter branches, research, medical, maintenance, and gensec. It gives the player a lot more options to pick making them more likely to join foundation instead of just playing on D class or joining CI.

    I feel like if there was more gov branch options out there for people who just joined the server then people would be more likely to join gov instead of just staying on crim.

    Just my thoughts tho, I am going to try out gov soon myself.

    This hit like a ton of bricks. I never thought I would see the day when you would resign. I knew you since you were a ECM and I was but a lowly JR. I had so much fun when you were around and its sad to see all this happen to research.

    Some context:

    I was arrested for possession of weed and was being brought to the cop car when I left the game. The reason I had left the game was because I didn't feel like playing anymore so I had just left.

     

    Reason I think the warn is false:

    I believe that this warning is false because I did not leave the game to avoid the RP situation. If I had left the game then re-joined right after, then I would understand why I would be receiving this warn because in that case I would have left to avoid the RP situation. However, I left and did not reconnect afterword because I actually wanted to leave the game. there is no where in the MOTD that states you are not allowed to leave the game while being taken to prison/being handcuffed.
