  1. What are you suggesting? - I'm suggesting to change the 610 swep so it cannot infect the JOB "SCP 610." It is way too easy for 610 instances to accidentally infect the main 610. To the point that it happens almost every time 610 breaches. An instance of 610 always spams its swep or misses a human, infecting the original 610 and dooming it to die unfairly and in an unintended way to its own infection. This especially happens often because a human is holding left click to shoot 610 and then when they get turned they will still be holding left click causing them to hit the main 610 with their swep. How would this change better the server? - This change would make 610 actually viable instead of always just dying to its own instances. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Could possibly be hard to code the swep to not affect 610 but once it is implemented no. Who would this change mostly benefit? - SCP 610 Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A

  3. Lore Name: Dodo Rank: AR SCP: 173 Question/Idea: If a piece of 173 is separated from the sculpture itself, will looking at that piece count as looking at 173? Background Research: SCP 173 is a sculpture comprised of concrete and rebar. SCP 173 is animate when not being viewed by a living entity. When animate, SCP 173 is hostile and will move at high speeds and attack any nearby humans by snapping the neck at the base of the skull. Note that blinking counts as not looking at SCP 173 and will cause it to become animate if no one else is looking. Hypothesis: If a piece of SCP 173 is separated from it and someone looks at the separated piece it will count as looking at SCP 173 and will stop it from becoming animate. If true this could be used to stop SCP 173 during containment breaches without having to get close to it. Observations (What Happened During Test): A concrete sample was removed from 173 with a chisel without incident. All personnel evacuated the containment chamber with the exception of D-8172. D-8172 was blindfolded and left inside the containment chamber. In order to determine whether or not SCP 173 can still move and terminate the D class while the concrete sample is being viewed. 3 personnel (one researcher and two gensec.) were viewing the concrete sample and warning each other when blinking in order to keep eye contact with it at all times. The shutters on the windows were closed, breaking line of sight on 173. Despite the personnel maintaining eye contact with the concrete sample, a loud crack with immediately heard from the containment chamber. The shutters were opened revealing 173 standing over the corpse of D-8172. The cause of death was confirmed to be a snapped neck at the base the of the skull. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: N/A (Recording software died again I need to fix that) Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): It seems that viewing a piece of SCP 173 that is separated from the statue itself does not count as looking at SCP 173. While using a much larger piece of SCP 173 or even bisecting it might work, the risk of terminating SCP 173 or even creating multiple animate instances of SCP 173 is too great. For now it appears that only directly viewing the statue itself counts as looking at SCP 173. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No, viewing severed portions of SCP 173 does not count as looking at it.
  4. Lore Name: Dodo Rank: AR SCP: 1459 Question/Idea: Can SCP 1459's depictions of ways to die tell us anything about CI's methods of terminating foundation MTF and Security personnel during raids? Background Research: SCP 1459 is a modified crane game arcade machine. When a quarter is placed into SCP 1459's front slot, a claw will descend from the top of the machine and will deposit SCP 1459-1, a live Canis Lupus Familiaris (domestic dog) puppy into the machine's glass viewing chamber. After the instance is deposited a recording prompting the player to press a button on the front of the machine and describe a way of terminating SCP 1459-1 will play. Once the player does so, mechanical arms will descend from the top of the machine and terminate SCP 1459-1 in whatever way the player described. Once SCP 1459-1 is terminated, SCP 1459 will dispense a cookie through its front slot. Hypothesis: SCP 1459 depictions of ways to die are typically accurate to actual terminations. (With the exception that the entity being terminated is a puppy.) I think that SCP 1459's depictions could provide intel about CI's methods of raiding foundation sites. Observations (What Happened During Test): A quarter was inserted into SCP 1459's front slot and after SCP 1459-1 was lowered into its glass viewing chamber, SCP 1459 was given the prompt "Killed in a raid on a foundation site by the Chaos Insurgency." Several mechanical claws lowered from the top of 1459. One grabbed SCP 1459-1 and equipped it with a small set of body armor modified to fit it and a miniature rifle. Notably the body armor had the foundation symbol. SCP 1459 then dispensed 5 more instances of SCP 1459-1 into its glass viewing chamber. These instances were outfitted with similar body armor and rifles. three of the six total instances had the the foundation symbol on their armor, while the other three had the chaos insurgency symbol on their armor. Miniatures of versions of chairs, desks and other common office items materialized inside SCP 1459's viewing chamber. As well as a sign on the wall that stated "Welcome to site [REDACTED]." For the sake of writing SCP 1459-1 instances with the Foundation symbol of their armor will be referred to as SCP 1459-1-F, and instances of SCP 1459-1 with the Chaos Insurgency symbol on their armor will be referred to as SCP 1459-1-C. Also of note is that one of the SCP 1459-1-C instances had a pair of miniature night vision goggles on as well as an unknown electronic device in its left front paw. All instances of SCP 1459-1-F and SCP 1459-1-C began firing on each other, periodically taking cover behind the miniature chairs and desks. in the initial skirmish 2 instances of SCP 1459-1-C and one instance of SCP 1459-1-F were terminated. The remaining instance of SCP 1459-1-C clutched the unknown electronic device in its paw and disappeared. The instance reappeared 4 seconds later behind the remaining 2 instances of SCP 1459-1-F and terminated them with its rifle. The SCP 1459-1-C instance was them terminated via SCP 1459's standard bludgeoning method. SCP 1459 dispensed 3 peanut butter cookies and 3 chocolate chip cookies. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: N/A (Offsite Test) Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): It seems that SCP 1459 can accurately depict Chaos Insurgency raids on foundation sites. Albeit that all combatants in SCP 1459's depictions are puppies. SCP 1459's depiction seems to imply that the Chaos Insurgency has created some sort of cloaking device to allow their forces to ambush foundation personnel during raids. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: My hypothesis was correct in that SCP 1459 did give us some valuable intel about the Chaos Insurgency's methods of raiding foundation sites. There is one issue however, SCP 1459 will never repeat the same scenario twice. If given the same prompt, the anomaly will simply play a message indicating that the desire method has already been used. So repeat tests done in the same fashion in an attempt to gain more information are effectively stonewalled.
  5. Lore Name: Dodo Rank: AR SCP: 049 and 294 Question/Idea: what happens if 049-2 drinks a "Cup of Sentience" from 294? Background Research: SCP 049 is an entity bearing resemblance to a medieval plague doctor. SCP 049 claims to cure "the pestilence" and if it believes a person is infected it will kill them without a touch and perform a surgery which converts them into 049-2. SCP 049-2 are mindless, zombie like entities that are normally docile but will attack if agitated or if directed to by 049. SCP 294 is a coffee machine that can be used to order any substance in liquid form. SCP 294 can also dispense things that normally do not have a liquid from or things that are normally not any form of matter at all like abstract concepts. The "Cup of Sentience" dispensed in this experiment was previously tested on live pigs. It caused them to display a near human level of intelligence and allowed them to communicate basic phrases using letter blocks provided to them. Hypothesis: I think that the drink will cause the 049-2 instance to become sentient. Communicating with it could tell us a lot about 049 and its "cure." Observations (What Happened During Test): A "Cup of Sentience" was ordered using SCP 294. One class D personnel (D-8719) was exposed to and "cured" by 049. The resulting 049-2 instance was restrained and separated from 049 to prevent any complications. The 049-2 instance, which was violently thrashing in its restraints was forcefed the contents of the "Cup of Sentience." After a few seconds the entity stopped thrashing and spoke calmly in a strained sounding voice vaguely similar to that of D-8719. The entity said repeatedly that it was "hungry." When asked about the nature of 049s "cure" it described it as a "rebirth" and said that "hunger was all it needed." The entity also expressed concern for the safety of 049, saying that it "must protect the good doctor." Approximated 3 minutes and 8 seconds after drinking the "Cup of Sentience," the 049-2 returned to the mindless, zombie like state typical of 049-2 instances. And began thrashing at its restraints. The 049-2 instance was terminated by MTF and its body was incinerated. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): While it did work temporarily on 049-2 the cup of sentience wasn't enough to reverse the mental effects of 049's "cure" permanently. 049's surgery being described as a "rebirth" and the instance 049-2 describing how it "only needs hunger" may gives us another piece of the puzzle that we need in order to fully understand 049 and its "cure." More testing is still needed to understand more however. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: My hypothesis was partially correct. While the drink did grant the 049-2 instance sentience, it only worked for a few minutes and had no permanent effects.
  6. Lore Name: Dodo Rank: JR SCP: 1048 and 067 Question/Idea: What will happen if 1048 is given 067 and some paper? Background research: SCP 1048 is a small animate teddy bear. Subject has been known to occasionally draw childlike pictures for staff. SCP 067 is a fountain pen. When a subject holds SCP 067 it will take control of their hand. If paper is available it will begin drawing complicated designs and pictures. Hypothesis: SCP 1048's drawings have never revealed anything about it's origins even when it's asked to use drawing to communicate them. I think that with 067 in control of its hands it may draw something relating to itself that we don't know about yet. Observations: SCP 1048 picked up 067 and began drawing on the provided paper. Subject drew a still life style picture, notably much higher quality than its typical childlike drawings. A table can be a seen at the forefront of the picture which appears to be set in a small cottage. A teddy bear can be seen sitting on top of the table. The teddy bear appears to be a standard Gund and Ty brand teddy bear, however several human ears appear to be sewn into the fabric. A small pile of human ears can also be seen in background of the photo. In the bottom left of the photo the word "Friend" can be faintly seen. Upon completion of the picture SCP 1048 seemed to be in a stressed state, placing its head into its hands and sobbing. SCP 1048 has been unresponsive when questioned about the nature of the photo. Subject pushed SCP 067 away when offered it again. Evidence/visual stimuli: Sadly N/A recording software died Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): While SCP 067 creating violent images is not unheard of, and I initially thought this was simply a random meaningless image that vaguely resembles 1048. However I believe there is something more to the picture for a few reasons. This is the only time SCP 1048 has ever wrote a word on one of its drawings and the sight of the photo seemed to cause it notable distress as if it recognized it. I believe the photo could be a clue about SCP 1048's origins and or its nature. More testing will be required to confirm this. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: Yes, SCP 1048 drew a much higher quality drawing that seems to be a clue about its origins and or its nature.
  7. Lore Name: Dodo Rank: JR SCP: 330 Question / Idea: If a person places additional candy into SCP 330 will it be considered part of the candy in the bowl? If the same person removes 3 candy that they have placed in the bowl themselves will their hands be severed? Background Research: SCP 330 is a candy bowl with a note on it that says "take no more two please." If a person removes more than two candy from SCP 330 they will have both of their hands severed at the wrists by an unknown force. Hypothesis: I think that if a person places candy in the bowl and then takes it out the bowl will "know" it was candy they put there in the first place and not sever their hands if they remove it. Observations (What Happened During Test): One D class personnel (D-7195) was given three pieces of candy (standard size Hershey's brand chocolate bars) and instructed to place them in SCP 330. After a few seconds of no reaction from the bowl, D-7195 was instructed to remove the candy he put in. Upon removing the 3rd candy both of the subject's hands were severed at the wrist by an unknown force. Subject showed signs of shock and expired from blood loss 8.3 seconds later. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: N/A (OOC my recording software unfortunately died.) Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): It seems that SCP 330 integrates any candy placed in it into itself. Thus any candy in SCP 330 follows its "rules" regardless of who placed it there Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No, despite having placed the candy in SCP 330, D-7195 still had both hands severed at the wrist when attempting to remove it.

In Game Name: Dodo Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:181278856 Discord Name: Dodo#6097 If you have any SCP-RP warns, please list when and why you got them here (If you don't have any, exclude this from your application.): Failure to wait breach timer (12/18/20) (inactive) Failrp as SCP 939 (9/7/20) (inactive) When did you start playing on SCP-RP? (Approximately): Roughly 6-7 months ago Why do you want to join Nu-7? (125 word minimum): From my time in E11 it is clear to me that I enjoy MTF gameplay. I want to expand my options when it comes to class selection. I also think that NU7 is in a very good spot right now player wise as the NU7 I interact with on E11 seem like friendly people. I also know my way around NU7 as I was in it a few months ago. Sadly I had to go inactive a few months ago due to real life responsibilities. Admittedly this was before the branch update with SCP 7101-GL but I don't see myself having any problems adapting to the changes. In conclusion what stands out to me about NU7 is it's amicable player base, familiarity and its gameplay similarities to E11 which I already enjoy. Also 7101-GL looks really fun to play and unique. If you've been in any other branches, list them and what your ranks are/were. This counts for all servers. 10. +support 096 has so much potential for fun gameplay. But right now it can only ever actually kill someone if they fail the bagging roll. It's impossible to tell when someone is looking which makes 096 basically unable to kill unless it gets good luck with rolling.
  11. In-game Name: Dodo SteamID: 76561198322823440 DiscordID: Dodo#6097 What division do you want to join (Military or R&D): Military How would you rank your knowledge of the lore? 9.5/10 Why should you be in Chaos Insurgency? I should be in Chaos Insurgency because I am an experienced player on Gaminglight SCPRP. I know my way around the guns and how to use them as well as how to deal with enemies who are using them. I also know all of the MTF subclasses and how to deal with them effectively. I am a team player and i'm good at working with others to achieve a larger goal. Lastly I know the map well including all of it's choke points, hiding spots etc. What is something that sets you apart from other applicants? I absolutely love the SCP universe and rp involving scps. I love any and all things SCP especially games. If it's an scp related game ive probably played it and if it's an article there's a good chance I read it at some point. Because of this I know the lore of the SCP universe well. How active can you be? I can be on almost every day. Do you have both Teamspeak and Discord: Yes
  12. What do you want to see- An arena for non lightsaber users to practice in. Why should we add it? - it would give a place for blaster users to blow off steam. What are the advantages of having this? - It would give blaster users something to do when no events pts or sims are happening. It would reduce minging and rdm by letting people blow off steam. It would be much more convenient than the duels system and allow for more than just a 1v1. Who is mainly for? - All branches with blasters. Links to any content - N/A
  13. The current version of mtf tau 5 lacks anything that makes it unique or more useful than a generic NU7 or E11 operative. The other two jobs in mtf job pack have a clear purpose. Stealth op allows to NU7 to have a cloaker and allows people without diamond to play a cloaker. Demolitions expert is very good for setting traps and can deal massive damage to SCPs or ci squads with their SLAMs and prox mine. TAU5 is just a generic mtf soldier ok health and armor, meh weapons and no special weapons or abilities to make him stand out. I would suggest making them a sort of off tank with the following changes. -max hp and armor both buffed by 20 -passive healing up to 145% hp and 40% armor, slow and doesn’t work in combat -minor morale boost, causes weapons of other nearby foundation combatants to deal 4-6% more damage - Not allowed in D block
  14. -Instead of turning people into it, it plays a pointless message in chat. -It cannot hit a player that is moving. Tap A and D to become invincible to it. I have tested it and as long as something is moving even the slightest bit it cannot take damage from 294 this makes it effectively deal 0 damage to anyone unless they are typing.
