    Its been roughly 3 months since I left all my RP positions in the server. for the past week I've been back on the server as I missed it and wanted to see what has changed since then. While the server has gotten a lot better since I had last been on, there seems to have been a larger influx in the amount of minges that come onto the server. This is to be expected, as gaminglight has become more popular its obvious the amount of people who wish to minge around is the increase as well. This is one of the main reasons that I wish to become a staff member. While I get that not everyone is into super serious RP and thinks it as cringe and stupid, not everyone thinks this way. Some people have crappy lives, whether it be school or their 9 to 5 job that they hate and they use this server as an escape from that to actually enjoy themselves, but it gets ruined by some people who think it would be funny to spam loud sounds or say racial/homophobic remarks. Just the other day, a senior researcher was attempting to do a test and it was getting ruined by 2 mingey D-class harassing him and just being overall rude. I want to try to stop this kind of stuff from happening as much as I possibly can and just try to make the server more enjoyable for everyone. This place was my enjoyment from a crappy day at college every day and I'd hate to see it get ruined for anyone else.

    How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?

    First I would ask the person to stop it, if they dont I would then procced to mute/gag them depending on how they are communicating with me. I would then check logs to confirm that they were the ones doing the RDMs and use it as evidence against them. Lastly, I would call over an Admin+ to issue the ban as this counts as a major infraction. 

    Q3: I would calmly ask them about the situation and get their side of the story. I would tell them that the bug is known by the community and that exploiting isnt allowed. I would let them off with a verbal, but if they accused continued to abuse the bug (evidence must be given), I would warn them for abusing exploits and call over and admin+ to issue a ban (depending on the severity of the exploit).

    I feel like this is something that needs to be discussed with High command of GENSEC

    as for the suggestion itself, I do believe riot control to still be on the strong side even with the addition of the purple line rule.

    I think the nerfs are somewhat fair tbh, so ill leave a +support

    PK's are really stupid, and they just shouldn't be a thing at all. That all I have to say about that

    A1 was a pointless branch that just about anyone could apply/get into and was full of people who barely ever did their job and just used it as a status in the server. They were literally just a worse NU-7 that when there were no site admins/O5 on just basically minged around

    While you do seem eager, there are some problems

    - you have literally been on the server for 3 days, that is not nearly enough time to trust someone with ET

    - the event idea has already been done before, and kinda contradicts your philosophy of an event "for everyone" considering this is basically an MTF only event.

    - doesnt really affect view on application, but favorite SCP is a little bland

    - your first reason on why you would be a good ET is kinda null cause if you read guidelines you'd know how ET works with that kind of stuff

    I think you deserve a 2nd chance, It was around 2 years ago so you probably learnt your lesson.

    If this gets accepted I hope to see you on the server from time to time!

     

     

     

    Disallow MTF/Foundation Members to camp Gates - Denied

    Here’s my thing.

    In a Roleplay standpoint, this completely make sense. We’re in a facility that has multiple SCP and top of the line personals. (As long we have 2-4 guards that is)


     

    However if we look at this in a Server standpoint:

    Chaos is currently getting stomped whenever they attempt to enter the facility. We have to keep in mind, they have to crack open doors, which by estimating, it’ll take 1-2 minutes from EZ-LCZ if the doors are all shut. Now if we add people who watches the gates into the mix, they can easily damage CI low enough so that anyone can just walk in a room full of chaos and easily spray them, ending a raid. This ruin’s CI element of surprise/possible ways for CI to get recruits and SCP for RND. 
     

    Arguments that people said “Well CI shouldn’t be able to camp there gates”, is really invalid. 
    That is pretty much their bunker, with no keypads or anything, there’s not really much of a struggle to raid CI’s base, since MTF don’t have to worry about cracking anything. 
     

    I’m still 50/50 with all of this, since I enjoy the RP standpoint, but we also gotta keep in mind how would this effect the server. 

     

    I think a big issue here is the fact that people always take the "in RP" into account way too often.

    you have to realize that, from a player standpoint, this effectively makes raiding on CI and nightmare and just unfun as a whole.

    but, if they werent allowed to camp/defend gates then It would make CI raids more frustrating for the foundation members as well.

    +/- Support, rather remain neutral on this until a compromise can be made that makes both sides happy

    This basically ruins the point of the blue line, if a very powerful class can pass that line what is even the point of it? Its there for D-class benefit to help them in some significant way, and allowing that class past the line negates that benefit entirely 

    we already have a bunch of riot control running around past the blue line, even when there is no reason to

    we dont need another class like this to add to the chaos
