Question: How will SCP-457 react when subjected to the effects of SCP-999 and is the unknown substance SCP-999 made of combustible
Background Research: Research the effects and nature of both SCP-457 and SCP-999
Hypothesis: It is predicted that the euphoric effect that SCP-999 gives off will not affect SCP-457 due to SCP-457’s incorporeal nature and SCP-999 will combust.
Observation/Visual Stimuli (Photos/videos): When SCP-999 was instructed to go into the testing area and after control via emergency extinguisher ceased, SCP-999 did its usual temperament of attempting to leap upon SCP-457 Going straight through it and catching fire, fueling SCP-457’s flames. SCP-457’s nature was unchanged by SCP-999’s euphoric effects and continued to attack SCP-999 presumably to fuel its flames further.
Analysis and Conclusion: SCP-457 was unaffected by SCP-999’s euphoric effects showing that its effects are only activated through the touch of corporeal matter and do not work through plasma or gas. It was also observed that SCP-999 did combust during the test further narrowing down the substance that SCP-999 is made out of.
Do Results Align with Hypothesis: Both results were as predicted in Hypothesis.
