5. Why do you want to be an Officer?: I was intrigued by the Idea of joining RRH as a whole for a while, never took the initiative to join the cause, up till now. I want to be an officer for the purpose of a few things. 1. I want to be that person people go to for answers, that person that can both lead his troops into battle, and give aid to his fellow soldier. 2. I want to be held to a higher standard so that I can shine in my position, and have to opportunity to do my job to the highest degree and order. I thoroughly enjoy my time as a command member already, and strive to do my best under my time constraints. 3. I wish to fill more of an advisor roll if possible, where I can give my input and advice to the other members as needed. but I am not afraid to take charge in situations where it is warranted, and am able to lead on the front lines. 6. What makes you competent enough to be an Officer?: Now, I'm not going to lie to you and say that I'm the best candidate out there, because that is simply not the case. I have not been around nearly as long or have as much experience as some of the other candidates, only recently dedicating my time and energy into the server back in November. My current positions are things that I have worked for, and am still working for. That being said, Most of my experience comes from other servers, so I have held a broad selection of leadership positions from the past. Whether that was the Co-lead of a Special Task Organization working with anomalies entities and reality warping technology, to re-designing an entire SOP as a lowly NCO, I have been a part of many things during my time with the Garry's mod community. I also have some knowledge in Thaumatology, Theoretical and Applied Reality, So I'm familiar with the things that break our known knowledge of reality and physics.
7. How will you maintain strong relationships and communication with other branches?: Personally, I see this as one of my strong suits, communication. Now as many people know, communication is one of the key factors when dealing with anything from menial tasks where everything is peaceful, To being in an active combat scenario where every second counts, where one little slip up can cause the downfall of your entire team. Strong communication is very important so that you have knowledge of not only what you and your team is doing, but also any partner forces as well. I strive to know as much as i can about as many people as possible, as it aids when making last second decisions, for example, who to call upon when you need it most, who is best to go for when certain tasks need to be done, etc. I listen, And I think I do it well, It's important to know what is going on inside of other branches so you can effectively know how to utilize those members and information when the time comes. It's also good to build up your reputation, makes people know who they are dealing with, vs not having a clue who someone is, and only seeing them as a title or rank. I have good knowledge on how to talk with other branches, how to pull certain people aside and talk to the about certain situations so that myself, and my team, are not kept in the dark when it comes time for us to take over. Getting to know the people you work with is very important, same goes for the foundation. Even when I'm not able to be actively on the server, I stay open to questions, comments, and concerns from others in my branch, always able to give advice and to help others as needed. I Would like to think that I'm pretty easy to approach, Trying to keep the peace in conversations with multiple people involved, while also having in depth conversations with others.
