Recently, Steam has being doing various maintenance, causing their server loads to go up and down. In return, this has effected client downloads upon joining servers. Unfortunately, there are no server configurations we can change to fix this until Garry's Mod releases an official update. Rubat/robotboy655 (Garry's Mod head developer) addresses this issue here: https://github.com/Facepunch/garrysmod-issues/issues/5409#issuecomment-1509884225. However, Rubat has informed everyone to switch to the "dev" version of Garry's Mod to temporarily fix the issue. Below is a step by step guide to do this. Step 1: locate the game within your library tab on Steam Step 2: Right-click the game and select "Properties" Step 3: Select the "Betas" tab Step 4: Click on the drop down arrow Step 5: Select the "dev - Development Branch" option Afterwards, your game should do a short update and then you're all set to go. Open the game and join the server, content should be downloaded. In some cases, depending on your steam server and its downtime, other connection/download issues may occur. If so, wait awhile and try joining the server again. Hope this helps!

What do you want to see?: A new or better bomb defusing and bomb prop/ bomb entities and bomb system! I would love to see everything from a gas type bomb all the way to a nuclear bomb for our Star wars enjoyment! Why should we add it?: Our current system isn't very practical as GM's can only blow up certain objects with the tool, and they can't be hacked in game like our current hacking terminals can! I believe these new bomb editions would make ENG RP much more realistic and scary, as all things explosive should be! What are the advantages of having this?: The advantages are a great new way for GM's to add REAL threats to events, and add alot more roleplay to both engineers, GM's, and add more demolishing flair to all events! Who is it mainly for?: Engineers, and GM's. Links to any content: None at this time. Would love to see a custom system like our Naval and ENG systems in game!

Grizz, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for all the hard work you put in during your time within Command. From the moment you joined, I was impressed by your dedication and drive to succeed, which quickly propelled you up the ranks. Your impressive work ethic inspired me to step up my own game and keep pace with the logs and changes you were making. Without your guidance and support, I wouldn't have been able to contribute as much to the team, and I certainly wouldn't be where I am today. Although we may have had our disagreements at times, I have nothing but respect for you and your commitment to making Research and the server as a whole better. You have truly opened my eyes to the amount of work that still needs to be done, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside you. While it's hard to imagine the server without you, I know that you will go on to achieve great things elsewhere. +Support Mark is by far the most active command member in PD. Anytime I am on PD I really do see the work he puts in. He makes sure all new members are trained correctly by the SGTs as well as guides them as they rank up in the department. Anytime something needs done he is the first one that is ready to get it done. I have also seen him handle discipline actions on Enlisted very professionally and handle high stress situations without breaking. I see no reason to not allow Mark to continue up the ranks of PD with the work he is putting in. Best of luck bud.
