Ban Length: 8 hours ( or more, thats what I see at the time of knowing I was banned )

Admin that Banned you: Stolas

Reason for Ban: LTAP, FailRP, RDM

Dispute: FailRP was for having a gun as fish, but LTAP and RDM are false. I do admit having the gun as fish, and shooting 1 bullet at a guy once, but I mainly only had it because I thought it would be funny to pull out sometimes. I don't understand how I can be banned for LTAP because I wasn't even in a sit at the time of leaving, and when I left I didn't even have the gun anymore. This sit was taken a long time after someone had reported me for it, and I had no way of knowing they had actually reported me. Also, I didn't even kill anyone with the gun. I will admit, there was 1 time I shot 1 D-Class once in the body because he said the n-word( he later got banned for it ), not even killing him. Otherwise, I didn't shoot anyone, let alone kill them. There were a couple of moments where I had the gun out and someone coincidentally died next to me which probably looked like I shot them, but one look at the logs should've cleared that up. I'm mainly appealing the RDM and LTAP part of the ban because I did have the gun and FailRP is true without any other context. I don't have any evidence, but I want to hear the admins side of the story.

Sorry I should've been more clear. Sits were being taken really slowly at that point, so this sit had to have been taken a long time after I had already left the server.

At this point the bans over but I would be interested in stolas side of this, as well if sits where taking awhile to be taken if a sit was placed even if the person was informed that they where being reported there can only be a reasonable expectation to stay on the server. while I don't know how long the ticket time if it was above an hour that would be a bit much as that could set a precedent that someone could have a report made on them when no staff are online get off for the night and the wake up to a ban for LTAP.

There were a lot of sits popping up at the time this occurred, also this sit was only unclaimed for a minute or so if I recall correctly, though it was late and I don't remember exactly. You had left before the sit was taken, which gives me one option: I ask the reporter if they told you that you would be reported at the time of the incident, and if they say no, nothing I can do. If they say yes, which in this case the did, its simply LTAP. Being aware that a sit will occur is essentially the same thing as being in a sit as far as LTAP is concerned. When someone LTAPs, its safe to assume they did what they are being accused of, so I didn't bother checking logs, as the sit seemed pretty open and shut at the time, even without a clip from the accuser. It essentially boiled down to taking the word of a community member vs. the actions of a minge with a gun on 527, as that's what you look like in this situation. I think anyone else would have come to the same conclusion, though I apologize if the RDM was false, though

ARDM is not the solution to racism(as easy as that would make it)

All in all this situation is unfortunate for everyone involved, we cannot go back and check damage logs that far back. I would like to rescind the RDM portion, and I wish there was a clip of this that would have made resolving this situation much more clear.

Stolas explained it pretty well. Leaving when someone says that they're reporting you is the same as leaving in a sit. Had you not left you probably would have just gotten a verbal
