JuiceTaps Posted December 1, 2020 Share Posted December 1, 2020 I'd like to start a discussion on the future of this server, especially with it's activity in the hands of YouTubers like PixelCat and Beep. The server itself isn't, but youtubers playing it gave us activity. They can't take the activity away, but there have been a lot of incidents that are both offensive and annoying to members. Racial slurs, exploitation, mass RDM, and the like. We cannot prevent this, and it is a side effect, but I think we need to be stricter for ST PVTs. YouTubers can cause both good and bad, which even out to a mild state for servers. It works perfectly on GMod, but that is fortunate for us. Unfortunately, for other games the server would have a toxic playerbase flooding and it would be uncontrollable. PixelCat is a troller, so the toxicity and minges probably come from him. He is a good guy, but its the internet folks. Just be careful. Feel free to start a conversation in the comments if you have ideas that could be shared.
