The Apple Posted October 3, 2020 Share Posted October 3, 2020 Lore Name: Apple Rank: Lead Researcher SCP: 1048 Question / Idea: If presented with ears from non humanoid species will SCP 1048 take the ears to construct 1048-a Background Research: SCP 1048 is a small and cute teddy bear nicknamed "Builder Bear" who roams the facility and occasionally attempts to cut the ears off people in the attempt to construct a bear make entirely out of ears designated SCP 1048-a Hypothesis: SCP 1048 will take the ears but require more of them due to their smaller size Observations (What Happened During Test): First we offered him a human ear so the intentions of the test were made clear. Secondly a cat's ear was offered to the bear and after he poked at it and checked it out he refused the first ear. After the cat's ear we offered him a primates ear taken freshly off of Dr Bright and the bear picked up the ear and compared it to the human ear before also rejecting the ear. After several more animal ears had been refused it was made clear he did not want animal ears. Then we offered him human ears but only half, He refused both halves. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): Possibly the anomalous properties of 1048-a only function with humanoid ears Was Your Hypothesis Correct?
