Researcher Log:

Lore Name: Jack Churchill

Rank: JR Researcher

Clearance: :Level 2

List of personnel involved in testing: JR Researcher Jack, Security SO Firippu

Level D personnel involved: Someone that is Gay (Yes that was his name)

SCP: 999

Hypothesis: Does SCP 999 have cognitive function to a level of memory.

Observation: Before starting the test I placed the D class subject across the room from me and asked the SCP to stand in the middle of us, I asked SCP 999 to move to the side of the room that contains the D class and the SCP moved beside the D class subject. After the SCP returned to the middle of the room I asked the SCP to move to the side of the room that would most likely get him candy, the SCP went to the west door of the room and failed that portion. After returning to the middle I asked SCP 999 if he would go to the side of the room with his favorite person on it, the SCP went to the east door where no one was and failed the question. SCP 999 was given a piece of candy and the D class was memory wiped and returned to D block. (The Tesla gate nabbed him mid return)

Visual Stimuli: SCP 999 appears to have no sense of direction nor long term memory as it did go to the wrong sides of the room two times out of the three questions. He did get 1 question right which did puzzle me but ultimately proved my hypothesis to be false.

Errors and/or safety hazards: The Tesla gate being on was the only hazard, correct precautions were taken for me and the Security but the D class did not make it as he ran across the panel right as it turned on. Janitorial were called to clean up the body as it would have made a mess.

Conclusion: SCP 999 has short term memory and only remembers things told to him just minutes before testing. More tests will have to be conducted for it to make more sense and for me to document more findings about its memory. Until then the conclusion is that SCP 999 does no have a cognitive function capable of long term storage of memory.
