What are you suggesting? - Adding a roll to the Containment Specialist SOP to cut or break through a lockdown door. In this example, a CS would @ to call for a sit, roll (60+?) and upon a successful roll, the admin can move the CS through the lockdown door. (JUST the CS), others can assist with the roll, but the hole is only large enough for the CS to get through. As of now, once you hit MP and ME rank on maintenance, the CS role become irrelevant because you have full access into HCZ, and switching to CS just wastes time. If not a roll, perhaps a CS can advert for cutting through each Lockdown Door similar to an SCP- (50% per minute?) It'll still take some time to get to EZ. (Allowing MTF Engineer time to lift the lockdown if they are available) How would this change better the server? - This would allow maintenance to perform their duties in EZ while there is a lockdown in effect. Too frequently I find that if a lockdown occurs and the lights go out, you can plan on the lights being out for 30~ minutes. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - The only disadvantage that I can see is, if CS has the ability to move through Lockdown doors, that would somewhat negate the MTF Engineer role. However, the Engineer would still be very useful, because if there is one active it can still save time- as there are SEVERAL lockdown doors between LCZ and EZ. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Players who have the Containment Specialist whitelist, and the whole facility during lockdowns. Obviously, the balancing and rules provided above are speculative in nature and can be adjusted as needed or as seen fit. Thanks /me Kiss /me Rolls a 99. -
035 can't be fully contained unless his cell is shut, think about it in this way. His body is terminated but the mask is still there, nothing stops a D-class from putting if on therefore if his cc is still open he technically hasn't been re-contained. I am practically saying 035's NLR shouldn't apply until he has been properly re-contained. Please make sure suggestions are pertinent and relevant! What you want to see? - 035's NLR apply once he is properly contained. Why should we add it? - It makes MTF and GENSEC make sure they have an understanding of how that SCP works What are the advantages of having this? - Increases the number of donators and the efficiency of all branches to make sure they have checked their work and understand their consequence of not fully.
