(75 word minimum) I have a fairly large knowledge on SCP's I'm happy to do paper work and I really enjoyed research branch as an associate researcher but want to be on the research branch of CI. I have great analytical skills and I am very active. Currently 22 and retired so I have a lot of time on my hands to invest! I am very interested in making some interesting tests for CI I really like the RP of the job. What is something that sets you apart from other applicants? I am already apart of the research team and military and I have more time to spend then most! How active can you be? if I get super invested and my commitment is noticed as much as needed. Basic Research Test Formats ---------------------------------------------------------------- Lore Name: Exland Rank: Associate Researcher SCP: 173 Question / Idea: Can we ascertain the origin of 173 using samples of the paint on its “Face”? Background Research: 173 is a statue that is paralized by observation. As long as you remain looking at 173 it will remain still. However in the time it takes to blink it can and will end your life by snapping your neck with extreme force. Hypothesis: Using 3 D-Class to collect a paint sample from the “face” of SCP-173 and taking the sample collected to the research laboratory for a deep analysis. We could detect trace temporal or anomalous properties. This could eliminate the possibility of 173 originating from an alternate timeline or an alternate dimension. Observations (What Happened During Test): 3 D-Class entered the cell 1 D class was given a glass jar and a chisel to facilitate the gathering of paint off the SCP. The Paint was then brought to the research laboratory and both temporal anomaly and dimensional anomaly tests were applied to negative results. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Have Caused The Results):We must conclude that either our tests are not as full proof as we once thought or that 173 originated in our dimension on our timeline! Was Your Hypothesis Correct? Yes we were able to test for trace elements of both however I am not certain that I believe the negative test result myself!
