Reason for leaving: No Motivation 😤

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, it's me, the most active nu7 ever, which is not debatable whatsoever, and you have to deal with it. But like on a serious note, I had a great time during my stay in Nu7. However, I have no motivation to play the server anymore and I feel terrible about holding a CMD slot that much better people in the branch deserve when I don't really play the server at all. I probably wont join back into the branch seeing how it's my 3rd time in it but I will for sure keep in contact with some of you guys!
This might be surprising but I wasn't that active lmao

    Mentions

ItzGray: I respect you dear teacher, please teach the incompetent fools of Nu7 to look up to me as a god a religious figure in the aspect of life.

SavagerY: Femboy, instead of playing world of tanks play a real game like league (get active please)

Yato: Threatened to demote me more times than then the number of toes I have and I still hasn't been demoted yet.

Piller: If I had to be honest with you, your activity ain't enough. If you don't step it up imma strike you.

Nydekore: Research is a dead branch and we know it, wanna know what else is dead? You're activity please get it up it's horrendously ugly to look at.

Soul: I'm sorry to tell you this but your e-kitten has already left you. Please forgive him.

Yamato: If I had to be honest with you Yamato, you're actually a great CMD member! just get as active as me and maybe one day you'll be as great as me.

Ducky: You suck at games, I hope I drill that into your mind you useless duck. Ducky? more like loser cause he aint active. Boom roasted boota post you on youtube.

Valentine: Take care of CBRN, I didn't do much for it but I still care for it. I hope you can bring CBRN to new heights. Make CBRN as great as I am, make it more active than me the one and only most active member of Nu7.

Pure: Probably won't see this but please get active please I need friends.

Mango: Get good at league please your absolute horrendous and its terrifying how bad you are at it. You're game sense is below the average intelligence of a primal ape and I don't like it.

Raymond: Left us (me) for woman

Fusion: Get good taste, just play valorant with me already.

  2. If I had to be honest I like the old HCZ layout better, its fun seeing it different but the new HCZ hallways just feel empty (REALLY EMPTY). It's wide and confusing and it looks bland. It's just straight halls; the cc's are way better I like that a lot. (That's my only complaint, Surface, EZ, and LCZ are all amazing.)

Sav may have made some mistakes in the past/ had some issues but honestly who hasn't, I've known Sav ever sense he joined the server almost a year ago and he has always been very dedicated to the server and always tries to make sure no rules are being broken and doesn't shy away from difficult situations and always helps whenever he is able. So for all these reasons and the ones stated above I believe Sav will make a great addition to the senior admin team.

It can't be enforced / would be too difficult to enforce.

I actually thought of this while writing, however, the vast majority of people have some sort of recording software (I.E. Medal), and this is absolutely vital in proving anything in an admin sit in the first place. Rules such as exploiting, FearRP, and a bunch of other shit require video evidence and this stuff is already enforced. Of course, feel free to leave feedback, but regardless, there's plenty of people to report such a thing.

What people mean by "hard to enforce" isn't the recording software issue; multiple people have medal or GeForce experience, and it would be effortless to record people breaking the rule. The main problem with it being hard to enforce is the SHEER amount of reports people will get. Every new player will break this rule because MOST new players don't read the MOTD, meaning that they are unaware of this rule, and it would also be tough to tell 50+ new players that you aren't allowed to jump while shooting, which sounds stupid. I am not going to tell the 150-240  new players (Stats from battle Metrics in the last 2 weeks) every day that they aren't allowed to shoot while jumping or be crouch spamming. ANOTHER problem with this is that this rule is incredibly easy to break, meaning players can get warned for the littlest things. For example, let's say I'm in a gunfight with a D-Class, and I instinctively crouch-jump that would get me warned. It just seems stupid, tbh.

    Skill Issue

It keeps combat interesting and keeps the skill required (and it makes it more fun)

I think Savager's post describes almost all of my thoughts here, but by changing up the combat system into something that requires you to effectively use cover, movement, teamwork, and makes the use of actual tactics much more possible would make combat more interesting. Playing against someone who's crouch spamming is inherently unfun regardless of who's up against it because when they die to said player, it feels almost unfair, and in some situations it has worked in the inverse as well. I don't think I've ever seen anyone who says "I think it's more fun if someone crouch spams while in combat" or anything along those lines.

I agree with what you are saying here, we need a way to make combat more exciting or interesting, but in this suggestion, the cons outweigh the pros by a significant amount, I would much rather not take 100+ sits a week when instead we can just let crouch spam be allowed.

It gives weaker players a chance to win a gunfight

It does, but this shouldn't be the case in the first place. Players with lower HP / Armor compared to another enemy should have to use strategy to win. That's how all combat should work. Players who can't learn to coordinate with their team when the odds are against them actively deserve to lose, and abusing movement mechanics shouldn't be the strategy. If you're caught completely alone in a combat situation, you should either be an expert in pvp or expect to die.

If I had to be honest, I think crouch spamming or B-hopping in combat are the only ways to win in a gun fight against someone stronger than you. The best thing you can do is peek and shoot, but we don't have a leaning mechanic or anything. The best thing we can rely on is aim, but I can agree with you on this. Weaker people should find a different way to fight against stronger enemies, but the only real problem with why people are -supporting this is that it is way too hard to enforce and cause its a skill issue get better. Even if I agree with your statement here, it doesn't change the fact that enforcing this rule would be WAY too difficult. The cons outweigh the pros by a significant amount, making this suggestion really hard to implement.

0 disadvantages is far from correct.

There is a reason it's only command that can transfer, and why it's a minimum 2 rank demotion to the transfer branch. Prior to the creation of these transfer rules, branch hopping was a common issue on the server.

Speaking of 2 rank demotions: this segment of the transfer rules are specifically suited to command, as a 2 rank demotion is far greater in scope in command than it is in enlisted. An E11 SM could transfer to Nu7 and only be demoted to SSGT, a *far* less impactful demotion than something like a Maintenance Manager transferring to Research and being demoted to a Research Supervisor. The former would take you 2-3 weeks to get back to your original rank, the latter would take 2 months at the minimum.

If you're being burned out trying to get command, you're either pushing yourself far too hard or just burn out exceedingly easily.

Transferring is not a light transaction, certainly not light enough to be accessible to NCO's. Transferring should take effort. It should stay with command.
