  1. Researcher Special Ducky's test: 106-035-A Having reviewed the containment procedures of SCP-106 in anticipation of an upcoming mass test, I had been reminded of the frequent need to rebase SCP-106's cell in order to resist the constant degradation from 106's mucus. While thinking this over, it became easy to correlate the effects of SCP-035's (similarly black) secretions to SCP-106's. However, after reading SCP-035's item files I noticed that some exact (or at least, more accurate) measurements were either not recorded, or not collected at all for both documents (This being the strength of SCP-106's mucus, and the amount of time per object size it takes for SCP-035's liquid). From this, I gathered that a test was in order! -Note: I did not set out to calculate these things within my formulated test- "Will the corrosive substances created by SCP-106 and SCP-035 react when placed into the same container?" (and if so, how?) Due to the persistent nature of SCP-035's viscous liquid continuously degrading substances it comes into contact with until they break down, and SCP-106's mucus being recorded to have a 6 hour active corrosion time limit, I believe 035's black goo will end up outlasting 106's "burn out". Materials used in testing: One sample of SCP-106's mucus (Gathered from 106's body into a lead-lined beaker. Said beaker is unused within the test) One sample of SCP-035 viscous liquid (Stored inside a standard beaker due to natural resistances) One standard beaker Two lead-lined beakers One plate of Lead-lined Steel (set beneath the beaker that is to contain the mixture) Step one: Preparation (picture one:) "Beaker 'A', pictured to the left, holds the SCP-035 test sample, and beaker 'B', on the right, holds SCP-106 test sample." (Please ignore the researcher pictured in the background of these test photos, he had been warned of the possible dangers concluding this test, to which he promptly ignored, and so I shall not be held liable for any injuries incurred during testing.) Step two: Mixing (picture two:) After mixing the two samples together, I was met with a surprise. Having expected a non-standard reaction from the mixing of two terrifying substances created by anomalous entities, I was nonplussed to see a basic chemical reaction between the two. After conducting an acid-test on the black mixture of goo, it became apparent that SCP-106's mucus was the weaker of two, and began to act as a base towards SCP-035's liquid, slowing down the corrosion of the lead-lined beaker. In Conclusion (picture three, and an unrelated incident:) In the end of the test, after the 6 hour mark, it seemed that SCP-106's mucus had "burned out" as expected, but not without a fight. It seems that 106's mucus was able to slow down and overall lower the degrading properties of SCP-035's black liquid, and kept the beaker intact. As hypothesized, 035's sample lasted longer than 106's, unexpectedly however, it was found to be stronger as well. This may be because of the transformative abilities held within SCP-035's secretion. Further testing will be required in order to conclude what exactly 035's substance does. (OOC: please ignore the old beakers because I finished this around 1:05 am zonked off my mind)
