This guy has shown active interest in not only being medical, but improving medical. I would eagerly accept someone like this into Medical.

Director of Research Maple would like this man on our team!

  2. +Support

If you asked me a month ago I would of said -Support, but after working more closely with him this past month I can note a couple of changes which have changed my mind in this field:

    • He is now more open to criticisms and has been actively working on himself to become more of a leader as opposed to 'just someone in charge'
    • He has begun down the path of actively seeking improvements as opposed to passively 'being big picture' and not actually implementing anything
    • Began taking on more of a coaching role as opposed to a 'Drill Sergeant" role. Building people up as opposed to just beating them down.

Now his overall leadership style is not the same as mine and there are things I believe Brendan should continue to work on with his time in Medical, but these are things which would not make a difference I believe in jumping from Vice Commander to Commander. The two key points of improvement would be:

    • Holding grudges. People have and do have beefs with Brendan. I believe he needs to begin to be the leader sit down with these folks and work them out. From hearing both sides of all these stories a majority of them I believe are misunderstandings which a simple, but hard, conversation can resolve.
    • Jumping the gun on situations needs to stop. Before threatening people and lambasting them take a minute to figure out what happened. You have improved here, but there are still some times when the question 'What happened?' is not asked before judgment is passed.

Overall I believe Brendan is ready for this step. He has shown tremendous commitment to Medical in my time here, and more importantly, tremendous commitment to improving himself.

  3. What do you want to see? -

A sub-forum topic under ImperialRP - GMod labeled 'ISD Research Logs' similar to SCP RPs research logs section.

Why should we add it? -

After looking at other servers as well as our brothers in SCP-RP I found that a common trend to promote interest in the 'research' area of passive role play is to allow researchers to post their workings in a public forum. This also allow us to standardize the recording procedures as well as expectations for research at the same time as raising the quality of research being done.  After a period of time, and a reasonable amount of research has been collected, this would allow for those who do not have an idea for their own project to 'peer review' their fellows and see if they get the same results adding to the quantity of passive RP this server provides to its users.

What are the advantages of having this? -

    • Increased amounts of Passive RP from Research
    • Greater Medical + Other Battalion interactions
    • We develop a partial history of the ships medical achievements
    • Gain a way to provide recognition to those who are making the ship busy with interactions
    • Gain a way to moderate researchers who might be doing something they shouldn't but think they can
    • A place to capture those medical themed events which seem to strike the ship every so often

Who is it mainly for? -

Research mostly, but I like to believe everyone on the forums and server might get some enjoyment out of what Research has been doing in the shadows since its creation.

+/- Pleasant experiences from me, but have heard negative things from you have lead

    Application Section 2

+Good Qualifications as Marshal Commander. I wish you talked more about what you were before Marshal Commander though

+/- You covered well how you would handle Vader in the RP sense, but would like to hear more about how you would handle him in the OOC sense.

    Application Section 3

+Your provided plenty of valid issues on the server

+/- Your ideas to resolve these are things I have seen you work before, but for Vadar I would like you to think more of how to systematically handle these problems. People will not be the same around you once you dawn the mask.

    Summary

I think you would be a good Vader. Your recent experience with regimental command as well as your awareness to some key issues I believe are key to the new Vader. The re-occurring theme I would like you to think about though if you become Vader is how you would fit in and handle the OOC role that comes along with the job. How would you handle the in place systems to resolve the issues you addressed as well as improve and create other experiences for those throughout the entire ISD.

Best of luck on your run for Vader

    Personal Experience

    +Pleasant Experiences

    Application Section 2

+/- Qualifications seem up to snuff, but you fail to share feats which you may have accomplished on these other servers' HC positions.

-You say you would bring a 'new fresh' experience and I would like you to expand on that more because as of right now I have no idea what that is besides buzz words. Your suggestions only seem to cover how you would use Vadar's presence, which is important to recognize, but you should also think of other big picture improvements.

    Application Section 3

    +You provided some valid issues

    - Your solutions do not feel like solutions. The first one is describing a group of people who are needed, the second offloads the issue onto Regimental Commanders, and the third is a blanket statement neutrality in decision making.

    Summary

This application needs work for me to see you as a Vader. You have an image in your head for what you will do, I can read that, but you fail to put 90% of that onto the page. Try and add more details to about yourself as well as your approach to issues as if you were already Vader.

Best of luck on your run for Vader

    Application Section 2

+ I enjoyed your trying to become your own idol story

+/- Flushing out how you think being the Ninth sister prepares you would be helpful

    - You do not provide anything that is actually 'stand out'ish sadly, and the improvements you had seem like they could be done in the 'Suggestions' forum and IQ command.

    Application Section 3

-Your provided issues make it seem like you are applying to IQ command and not Vader

    Summary

Your application seems to be leaning less towards Vader and more towards IQ, so it is hard for me to judge you on how good of a Vader you would be. This could be due to confusion of the position, but I encourage you to take a second look at this and try and calibrate your Vae-'DAR'. (Like Vader, but radar... get it?)

+/- I do not think we have met

    Application Section 2

+/- You may have experience over a broad range of topics, but you fail to show a time where you excelled at one. I'm not saying you haven't, but try listing some of your feats as Command on those other servers.

    - Starting off by saying the position would help you move from inactive to active IS NOT a good look

    - Try broadening your image of Vader, his scope covers the 501st and the rest of the ISD as well

    Application Section 3

    - Although creeping activity to new timezone is something I believe every server wants, your solution of just being present does not cut it. Try describing how you would make your presence fun and how you would improve these people's experience

    Summary

Based on your app you seem to need to learn more about the community as well as the position before you are ready for Vader. I encourage you though to keep trying as you do seem to have the drive and organizational skills to get you there.

Best of luck on your run for Vader

    Personal Experience

+ My interactions have always been pleasant

    Application Section 2

+Good Qualifications I believe with the Naval and cooperation with other regiments. Your real life experiences demonstrate maturity as well.

-You leave your image and direction of Vader lacking. The scope of Vader covers the 501st, but is a lot broader. With Vader you could do a lot more then just be a regiment lead.

    Application Section 3

-Your boots on the ground approach may not work as Vader and I encourage you to think bigger picture.

-Missing some key points most other people have pointed out as issues the community is having

    Summary

You are on the right track to becoming a good Vader I believe, but your application is leaving some to be desired a little everywhere. Try and think larger then possible then chisel out your Vader instead of trying to grow your idea of Vader from a seed. Some people call this a "Disney wish list" approach.

Best of luck on your run for Vader

    Personal Experience

+/- I do not think we have formally met

    Application Section 2

+/- You have some good qualifications, but you fail to mention any ways how you believe they tie into Vader.  You redeem it though with the next question on your clear image for Vader

    - Your explanation on how you would improve is dense, but it has a lot of content. Sadly though I wish you expanded a bit more to make up for your fragment at the beginning.

    Application Section 3

+ You identify a unique issue as well as other general ones

    - Your solutions to these issues falls flat as a personal approach to each one will either leave you burnt out, or you will be unable to reach everyone.  I feel like you are heading in the right direction though

    Summary

I do not think you would be a bad Vader, but am struggling to see your image on how you would make him yours. I believe expanding out the first question as well as thinking more high level on your solutions could help fill out this app and have you ready to put your best foot forward if you are chosen as Vader.

Best of luck on your run for Vader

  10. +/--Support

    Personal Experience

+/-I do not think we have ever talked or met formally

    Application Section 2

+Good Qualifications and Vader would be the natural next step. You also mentioned how you made things serious about 11 times, so I imagine you are serious.

+/- What makes you stand out is actually something I have been seeing in a lot of applicants 'Mature, active, fair, etc...'

+/- A lot of what you would change as Vader seems like things you could change as Grand Admiral, or things you said earlier you have already done. This and the other suggestions fail to paint an image of Vader, but instead a picture of a "Grand Grand Admiral"

    Application Section 3

-You provided two issues which are supposedly fixed. This is the equivalence of dodging a question as you are meant to flex those accomplishments in Section 2.

-You failed to provide one of two valid issue which I have seen every other applicant mention. This makes you appear out of touch with the server currently

    Summary

I do not doubt for a second your qualifications in being Vader, but your application falls short for me. This app makes you appear to have climbed the HC ladder and forgotten what down below looks like. To improve this I would encourage you to get more in touch with the Officer and below community to identify their pain points as well as think about how your Vader would be able to expand the experience on the server for everyone and not just Naval/Army/IQ logistics.

    Application Section 2

+Broad level of understanding on most the ship due to your regiment hopping exercises

-Kinda dodged the question on what differentiates you from the other candidates

+/- Your ideas for Vader kinda seem vague and need to be flushed out more as a lot of that can be done as any other HC member or GM staff

    Application Section 3

-You stated two issues and the solution to one them was 'talk it out' essentially, and the other was left as is. It is not good to highlight an issue then say there is nothing which can be done about it

    Summary

Your application does not highlight your strengths I believe. You would be a good Vader though, but I just struggle to see you standing out or making any reasonable changes from this application. Take some time to reflect on what you would do better, differently, or the same as Vader.

Also... the center align made my eyes bleed, but I think that's just me.

+/-Your actions you want to take as Vader is incredibly vague, but the direction you want to point him appears clear

    Application Section 3

+ You identified multiple pain points currently for the server

    - Your solutions to those pain points feel like they are short of being complete. I personally do not believe Vader

    Summary

I believe you would be a reasonable and kind Vader from your app. I believe you would be a good Vader to help the community, but you may fall short in the speed at which that happens due to your boots on the ground approach. Try thinking of ways you could utilize the higher office to nudge people towards the right direction and teach them how to help you accomplish your goals.

Why do you want to become the role of Darth Vader?

A little background on me is that when I joined the server I took a pacifist pledge not to kill another person or AI directly. In doing so I believe I have actually enriched my experience on the server by always having to think of clever ways to get around this hurdle. It has also opened my eyes to many things which this server does that is great as well as not so great.

My main driver to become Vader is to help solve that not so great. To me Vader is not simply an excuse to push people around, but instead a privilege which allows you to interject excitement into parts of the ship that might be slowing down. Being Vader would allow me to do a lot more in getting player involvement up during non-event periods and ensuring people always feel like they are experiencing something as opposed to simply passing time.

Darth Vader is a potential new font of fun and immersion for the server, and I, simply put, want a part in ensuring that the role is able to achieve its full potential.

What experience do you have that would be relevant to the role of Darth Vader?

When asked a question like this it is important to answer the question “What experience IS relevant to the role of Darth Vader?” first. The three categories of experience that I believe are key here are: Leadership, Creative Direction, and Administrative Management.

My leadership experience begins off the server in real life like most of the players. Without spewing out my entire resume I can start with the one which I believe reflects closest to what Vader would be doing. This is holding the job of VP for my old campus’s Residence Hall Association. There I learned how to manage three separate sub-organizations without directly having my hand on the wheel of any. I would have constant communication with each team's leadership ensuring they were remaining on budget as well as working towards the higher vision which the President set out for us. During that time I also was in charge of training any new execs who needed help learning how to run their groups.

This applies to Vader as I see him not as a direct hand on any one regiment, but instead as a leader to leaders. Someone who can take the wheel if needed, but would rather allow the other chosen leaders to perform what they were elected for whilst providing guidance and direction.

That though begins to bleed into the second category of experience, Creative Direction. Creative direction is very similar to project management, but instead of working towards an individual project, creative direction moves towards a larger image. My relevant experience here I believe lies within what I am doing on the server currently.  As a Game Master I have been able to begin 4 individual conflicts which the ISD is going through: ‘Plants from Antliona’, ‘Creatures of the Familiar Mist', ‘the Prototype Shield’, and ‘the Long Range Base’. Each of these conflicts I have written a base plot and details to build the “world” which they live in as well as their introductions. Then after each introduction I record how the ISD reacts. I then take the time to write a follow up event which pushes the ISD towards the desired conclusion. There is no hand holding, but instead steady nudges to get to the grand conclusion which I desire.

In the end this experience would aid Vader as it allows them to make the people on the server feel more fulfilled. More fulfilled in knowing that they accomplished their goals without a safety net, and without the training wheels. This also would allow the server to grow as this process nurtures independence and pushes people to RP outside of events to figure out their role in the grand scheme of things.

The final important bit of experience is a simple truth of all VCMDR+ jobs. How good are you at ensuring there is a paper trail for everything, Administrative Management. This I’ll keep brief. I gather my experience here though from being a Parliamentarian. I ran the elections in my College which as everyone might know at this point, gets poked and prodded at a lot. Everything I did had to be documented. This goes from writing and finalizing citations, talking to the Dean about verbage for Elections emails, and formalizing a process to distribute over 10,000 emails to only those who are allowed to vote. If anyone would like to talk more about this job feel free to message me and I can share with you the horror stories of working with soon to be / want to be future senators.

I have other experiences under my belt, but I believe the three I cherry picked are what prepares me most for the role of Vader.

Why do you think I should pick you over other applicants?

I do not envy the decision of picking Vader, so to make the decision of deciding on me easier I will highlight a few things about me that I believe makes me unique beyond my experience.

My judgment over people is always equal. I always welcome new STs with open arms the same way I will open any of my fellow Medical. I believe this is unique as I have done research as an undercover ST PVT before I got my Game Master tags. Doing this I believe is a pilgrimage all Officer+ should do to get a feeling on how the server is treating new players.

One of my hobbies is creative writing/storytelling, so I believe this has mentaly prepared me to make unique situations from otherwise mundane tasks. These creative muscles I believe help me ensure that unique situations are happening at a reasonable pace in multiple environments.

I have practice in persisting a unique playstyle. As mentioned before my current role/life has taken a pacifist pledge not to directly kill people. This practice in not only restraint, but character building can help Vader truly hold a distinct personality and aura throughout the ship.

Please outline some ideas that you could bring to improve the server as Darth Vader:

Some of my ideas are principles and I hope whoever becomes Vader uses them as I know personally I would enjoy them.

Corporate with GM’s to not just help in storyline events, but also make sure when an event is occurring you are not overstepping and simply solving things by ‘being Vader’. Be a unique personality to an event, not another IQ chasing the action. Instead work with the GM to use his force sensitivity to either push the ISD in the right direction like ‘I sense a large amount of greed among these ISB’, or to introduce a potential event such as ‘There is a strong energy coming from sector 23B on Hoth I wish to investigate this immediately’.

Vader can also add value to Jedi’s whenever they are around. For example, if a Jedi is onboard the ship don’t bull-rush him. Instead simply wait for them to get captured, which they almost always do, then in interrogation do some RP like “I sense hate in you”. You then can go through the process of having them duel an IQ to prove their strength, and then have them swear fealty to you. The Jedi won’t due to rules, but then the ship can execute the Jedi after milking their presence for all its worth. The Jedi were rare at this time, so whenever they are seen Vader can help make their presence a special event.

Another idea would be to enforce rules among divisions by using gentle Vader tactics. A Naval talks back to a superior, gently choke them. A 31st leaves EC whilst they are supposed to be protecting, pull a ‘Kylo Ren’ and begin breaking things. Medical is shooting more than healing, stab them and make them heal themself so that they are ‘Using the right tool’.

Vader could also do some very specific SIMs such as ‘Testing his 501st’ to see if they remembered anything from the Jedi Temple and have them try and take on a respective number of ‘IQ’, a good training for both regiments. Vader then could evaluate the Purge using the 501st’s time after to see if they are still a project worth investing into (of course they are, but Vader can kinda be mean).

Walking around and overall being a presence honestly would be a mini event in itself. I have seen how people swarm the Emperor. Last I saw that man he had half the server on as Royal Gaurd purely because they wanted to be near him. Vader might not hold as much of a pull, but people always want to be near the top. Being a public figure like that with the looming threat that he might just kill you for forgetting something simple helps keep people on edge and that can be exciting.

I got more ideas in the brewing, but I feel like these convey the general idea of what I would want to see Vader doing.

    -=Section 3=-

In your personal experience with being a player, what issues have you come across?

    •      The issues I have noticed are as follows:
    •     Treatment of STs is poor
    •     Passive Roleplay can fall flat at times
    •     Innovation occurs at a slow rate
    •     Ideas flow up, but are never checked down

In response to the question above, how would you handle and fix these issues?

To improve treatment of STs one idea I mentioned earlier is to have people go undercover as them. No Mic, new name, and if possible removed tags for the day. This would not only allow these higher ups to view how STs are treated VS how they would like to be treated, but also allow them possibly identify any individuals who might need to be watched.

To improve Passive RP people generally need some interesting task or friendly competition. I recently forced different regiments to raise ‘Meat children’ so the ISB may research and monitor their growth. The two divisions which didn’t break it and allowed the child to grow to adulthood were Medical and IQ. The ship was bustling cause they were curious what the others were doing and that is good. It raises interest in regiments and makes people want to be more involved.

To improve the rate of innovation I believe there should be time in command meetings to discuss “What do you want to see changed”. This would help High Command see where the ship wants to head and they can compare it to where they are heading it. Taking the difference from the two they can then try and implement something to amend the desire. This is not talking about ‘adding weapons’ like changes, but more of adding documents and rules kind of changes.

To follow up on these ideas that are shared I believe it is important for command and High Command to take the temperature of their regiments more frequently. For example, Medical got new guns and we were super pumped, but after about a week we realized that they are not quite what we wanted. Like a good waiter, command needs to make sure their changes are being enjoyed after being put on the table. It is putting too much on the enlisted to assume they will complain about things especially when they want promotions.

Anything else you would like to add?

I know I type a lot, so I apologize for the long read. I have high expectations for whoever becomes Vader, and I hope whoever gets it takes it seriously and tries to make it more than just a promotion. The responsibility which comes with this role I believe runs deeper then what even I have been able to cover in this essay and a half, so as the great Ms. Frizzle from ‘the Magic School Bus’ once said… “Seatbelts Everyone!” this is going to be a long and exciting ride.

    Observation Status: --Ongoing--

    Results:

To lead my report I would like to say Maple poses no more threat to the Empire

then a single grain of sand on Tatooine. This man is weak, uncoordinated, and

incredibly naive to any military strategy. When in combat he generally sheds

his armor as it "makes him fast". When wearing the armor though he lacks the

muscular physique to run more then a few paces before needing to stop to catch

his wind.  When given a blaster he will often not use it as he "does not want to

hurt another living creature". Contradictory to this statement though this man

has "accidentally" killed or had forced others to kill ████ troopers when his

    experiments have hit the fan.

When trying to get more details on the mans research I attempted to break

into his lab, but instead woke up in my bunks with a large incision across my

stomach. He left a note stating that I should not eat any acidic foods for the

next month whilst my new "stomach friends" grew. I had another doctor

remove the █████████ and was forced to terminate the doctor after

seeing what they were.  The █████████ were then returned to the lab

and every researcher was verbally chastised for their actions, but no formal

    punishment could get authorized.

Besides that single instance Maple has been very easy to approach and

learn about. He has installed the standard ██████ ███ into his brain in

order to prevent any of his research from being involuntarily shared. His

fright of combat and most violence also makes him easily controlled by

standard Empire practices.  His impact ever since coming onto his assigned

ISD has been a sharp incline of 'ailments' followed by a sharp decline. This

can be interpreted in many ways, but the resting standard is accepted as

a general improvement in ship health.

With this being the shortest report I have ever written for this level of

clearance I submit that he be approved. The report is short not due to

an obvious flaw, but instead a lack of anything which is threatening to

█████████. Maple is a boring, but safe character as long as you stay

away from the lab. Due to this fact though, I believe there should be ongoing

observations to ensure that the secrets of the lab benefit the Empire.

  17. Hello everyone. As a member of the community and the self-proclaimed head of Workplace Safety I would like for all members of our staff who have the privilege of wielding the glow-sticks of sharp stinging pain to submit themselves to specialized workplace safety training.

    In this course you will:

    • Exercise your dexterity skills by tracing wall angels with your friends
    • Practice touching ignition sticks in a way that doesn't cause bodily harm to our friends in the white plastic suits
    • Bake E-11 cookies using hand sparkles to give out to the other regiments
    • Confront the repressed feelings of long lost loved ones and the fear of disappointing your master
    • Go over hard hat safety and many other OSHA mandated security measures

After completing this course you will receive a printed out certificate with your name on it as well as a congratulations on your success in making the ISD a better place.

All in all, please stop stabbing me. My bacta injector doesn't work as fast as your plasma shaft.

I have been active on the server for a while now with minimal/no interaction with the staff.  My career in the medical corps is also something I would prefer not to risk as I have some goals in re-structuring and expanding there as well.

               Are you familiar/experiences with ULX?:

I am familiar with it, but have not yet used it. Kinda like learning the syntax of a coding language, but having not actually written anything with it yet. I am excited to try and write something with it now.

Are you experienced with being a Game Master and how they function?:

I am aware with how they function and the work which goes into it. I have not yet though been a game master though in Gmod.  My experience is more on the writing side though, choose your own story and D&D kinda stuff.  What I do not know I am willing to learn.

Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event:

On-ship event: The ISD goes on a patrol around the asteroid field after de-scrambling a signal from an unknown source indicating that the rebels are transporting some weapons and droids to a rebel base.  When arriving at the asteroid field the ISD encounters 2 rebel ships, one fighter and one cargo ship. Scramble the fighters and blow up the cargo ship’s escort, and attempt to capture the munitions to interrogate its captain on the location of the hidden rebel base.

On the cargo ship there are 2 actors. The captain, and his trusty gonk (oddly with minimal weapons).  The captain will of course be taken to the brig to be interrogated. What happens to the Gonk is up to the players, but if the 31st do not scan him they will not find the engine jammers keeping the ship in the asteroid field.  Also if no one scans the ship for other life after about 5-8 minutes on the ship two other actors will be released in MHB silently and flee to hide on the ship not engaging until the next stage of the event.

To not go into more detail on this. There will be an ambush launched from the asteroid field which the ISD will not be able to flee from if the gonk is not properly disposed of. The 2 on board rebels will attempt to rescue the captain, but if they are found out only one actor will be placed during the ambush phase of the event.  If the gonk is destroyed/found out the ISD will be able to flee the asteroid field mitigating the number of drop pods, and the radius of the siege.  If the ship continues to be unable to leave the asteroid field new actors will be brought in making it very difficult to keep the captain in custody.  The captain will only reveal information when the ship escapes/wins against the ambush.

Off-ship event: Rebels on hoth I feel like will always be the premise here I feel like, but here is my shot at reversing the roles.

The ISD is asked to land a research team and set up a basecamp in hostile territory to assist in an already present small team of researchers. A team of volunteers is assembled and goes through a briefing on their goals: land, research the weird radioactive anomalies on the ice, and protect the site if any rebels were to arrive.

After landing though they realize the previous camp setup has been ransacked and has minimal cover, but the mining drill for samples is still mostly in place.  Without 31st there will be little to no cover when the inevitable happens.

The rebel attack begins after a short while when a rebel ship kamikaze’s and blows up the away team’s way back to the ISD. The rebel attacks are led then by a single overzealous rebel commando actor. The rebels will not relent, but the team should be able to hold on. Back on the ISD a second larger rescue team is prepared to save the team and recover the research gathered. This will be of course a lot harder if the first team succumbs to the rebel assaults. After the research is recovered it is then brought back to the ISD. IF there is enough SF online a second rebel fighter may be released that must be taken care of first before the rescue team tries to return.

Do you know how to give a weapon/SWEP to yourself/someone? (Give an example):

Yes. !give Maple [Weapon of choice]

Do you know how to model yourself/someone? (Give an example):

    Yes. !model Maple [Model’s directory]

Have you read the Gamemaster Guidelines?:

Yes, and this was quite the hunt may I add.  Everytime I asked where it was I was never answered, and after doing a VERY thorough search through the forums and teamspeaks I found ONE link to it (https://docs.google.com/document/d/18qckhTYbaMqoUzH6OeXmEqe5iLlvkI0VLq_qSJ4jR_Y/edit?ts=5cedeb93).  This link was in a post by Hotshot in a subforum which I believe was deleted as I did not have access to it.  Please sticky a link again for future people looking to apply.  This goose chase was relatively difficult, and I am impressed by everyone else who was able to find it without being handed the link by someone else.

  19.   1.Whats your ingame name?

MC S SC SGT Maple 3141

          2.Whats your steamID?:

    STEAM_0:1:30334414

3.Have you read the Medical Corps SOP?:

    Yes

4.How long have you been on the server:

    9 days

5.How many warns do you have?:

    Zero

6.Why do you want to be an Officer?:

Regimental reform and structure. I believe the Medical Corps has some of the best opportunities in this server, but are often being crippled by fear of the large gray area between minging and roleplay. As an officer I would be better able to not only coach current and incoming medical troops on how to navigate these bounds, but also work with other officers and command to get approved pre-fabbed situations/operations that the medical can pursue whilst between events.

7.What Timezone are you in? And how available can you be on a typical day?:

CST and 2 hours ingame (I often exceed that), but I can monitor the discord and forums all day

8.How well do you command this Regiment?:

Important traits for a leader to have in this environment are flexibility and vision. I believe I carry both.  My flexibility lies in the ability to understand that other players may not share the same idea of fun, and adapting certain situations to something where they will prosper.  My vision then lies in the image of Medical.  I have no interest in seeing the Medical Corps fall into a ‘trolly’ regiment, but instead envision it with a larger role to play during promoting interactivity amongst other regiments during  ‘Defcon 5’ ship times.

9.What makes you stand out from other applicants and what can you bring to the Medical Corps command?:

My first and only interest on this server is creating a pleasant more interactive experience for those in it.  Looking at other servers which fail there is always one common undertone, downtime.  Downtime which players are ‘unable to get a promotion’, ‘unable to shoot something’, and more broadly ‘have no-one or nothing to interact with’.  I believe I have a creative enough mind which can spark some interaction during the calm, and engage the community even during ‘Defcon 5’.  It might not seem like a lot, but I am a firm believer that the primary reason people either bounce regiments and even servers is due to a lack of connection and direction.  A connection which can easily be formed with a bit of humor, and direction which can shaped from some simple reform.
