  3. 1. What is your Ingame Name: {Rank/Role] MetaChrome 2. SteamID: STEAM_0:0:104690632 3. Rank: Medic 4. Time on server: about 3-4 weeks 5. Total strikes ever received: 0 6. How many warns do you have on GL: 0 7. Who gave you permission to apply: Peters and Tako 8. On a scale of 1-10, how active are you?: 8 9. Why do you think you’re fit for ACM (60+ words): I enjoy my duties on Medical, but I also have the passion of wanting to defend those around me. I internalize a lot of my mistakes and have a fear of judgement, but I am always willing to own up to anything and everything I do and learn as I go. This job sounds perfect for me, a more passive combative role with a focus on taking up defensive duties and ensuring the survival and safety of my foundation colleagues. Being fun and friendly while also knowing when to take things seriously are my strengths. Taking charge and trigger discipline are things I can improve on. Bonus question 10: CI is currently raiding. You see an MTF E-11 CPL at 27% health running away from a fight. Just as you start to examine his condition, an MTF A1 Captain comes up to you and asks you to help them fend off the CI. What do you do? First I quickly check my surroundings. If the CI or any other threats are immediately present I would assist as back up prioritizing the safety of the E-11 CPL. Once the immediate threats are eliminated or the coast is already clear, I would turn down the A1 Captain's request and escort the E-11 CPL to the nearest saferoom. If I am close enough to medbay in LCZ, I would attempt to take them there. I would then treat to the CPL's injuries and conduct surgery on them if no other medical members are around. Once the CPL is back on his feet and ready to go, depending on location and if the CI raid is still in progress I would see them safely back into action and continue providing medical attention as needed and assisting in the gunfight if everyone is mostly healthy. I would keep close tabs on foundation comms and pay attention to changes in defcon.

  5. Researcher: MetaChrome Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 294 Question: If a person were to type into SCP 294 "dance" and proceeded to drink the resulting fluid, would the drinker break into an uncontrollable fit of dancing? Background Research: SCP - 294 takes the appearance of a large and innocuous vending machine. On SCP - 294 is an English QWERTY keyboard and when entering in a desired object or element, SCP - 294 dispenses an ambiguous liquid in a paper cup. Just about any conceivable drink or liquid one can imagine could be dispensed (I.e. water, coffee, lemonade), but other and more unconventional items can be typed in for a similar yet bizarre result (I.e. Lava, Gold, Blood, etc.). Even abstract ideas can be inputted such as "Life", "Death", or "Zombie" and be dispensed with varying results. It's worth noting that no matter what the input, the resulting entity is always in the form of a liquid in a cup. Despite how many things SCP - 294 is capable of dispensing, not everything can be dispensed this way. If an invalid keyword or phrase is inputted, SCP -294 simply dispenses an empty cup with no resulting liquid. Hypothesis: Testing into the realm of abstract, would SCP - 294 allow for a cup of "Dance" to be dispensed, and if so what would the resulting effect be on the drinker? In theory, a person drinking such a cup would break out in some form of dance fit uncontrollably and possibly painfully. Perhaps the type of dancing would be reflected in the drinker's personal tastes, or even the inputter's personal tastes. Should the drink be valid and result in the way I surmised, to what extent and degree would the results take form in? Observation: During a mass testing event on SCP - 294, 3 others and myself (plus one Dr. Bright) each conducted our own experiments one at a time. Not wanting to disturb the other researchers minds of their own tests, I used myself as the research subject and test my theories. Unfortunately, after inputting "Dance" into SCP - 294, no resulting liquid was dispensed and I was left with an empty cup. Conclusion: I suppose a concept of "dance" is perhaps too vague an idea to expect results in. I still stand by the notion that we should continue testing on SCP - 294 specifically in the realm of abstract and see what the possibilities could potentially be and what that might mean moving forward. I'd love to see the foundation prosper and expand it's knowledge base just a little more by such discoveries. Was the Hypothesis Correct?: No. A "Cup of Dance" is an invalid input for SCP - 294.
  6. Thanks for the corrections, still new to these forums but hopefully I got it right this time. Cheers! (P.S. How do I delete this post in the Archives?)
  7. In-game Name: MetaChrome64 typically with a title specifying the job (i.e. "D Boy" for Class D) Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:104690632 Discord ID: 434554154334158851 What division do you want to join? Military How would you rank your knowledge of the lore? I'd consider myself pretty knowledgeable, but also still have plenty of room for learning. Why should you be in Chaos Insurgency? (75 word minimum) Given my particular enjoyment of the franchise, I've been especially fascinated with how Chaos Insurgency operates. Knowing the lore and reasoning behind the organization adds so much more depth and complexity to the overall world-building. I tend to get pretty invested into things and always want to gain a better understanding behind it all, even if it just means a bunch of grunt work. I don't consider myself particularly important, but i'm all for giving things my best shot regardless. Even if it means being staying at the bottom rankings forever, just knowing that I can align myself with such an awesome faction is gratifying enough for me. The only things I could really ask for are being given fair opportunities to prove myself and being able to surround myself with cool and inspiring people. What is something that sets you apart from other applicants? I take mistakes and losses personally, and try to use them to gain a better understanding. It's especially internalized for me when someone else either points it out or rubs it in, and I take what people say quite seriously. As a result, I aim to follow all given rules and instructions to the best of my ability, but I'm also more than down for having some casual fun if the situation is appropriate. I don't tolerate badmouthing or "minging" as it seems to be called, and I always strive to show respect to everyone around me. How active can you be? As of right now, I tend to be on daily or every other day unless something comes up. Do you have both Teamspeak and Discord: Yes, I have both. More familiar with Discord and only got Teamspeak recently, so i'm still learning how to navigate and use the client.
